  1. Scenario: My old car going to scrap. I am buying a 2nd hand car. I retain my old car number. I want to sell the 2nd hand car number Then I want to use back my retained number on the 2nd hand car. Can be done? If so, how to go about doing it? I know I can go to onemotoring to retain number. Just not sure about the selling part.
  2. Hi, I am purchasing a car from my elder brother. Car still has loan and I am taking over the loan/instalments and full ownership of the vehicle. Is there any agents whom are experts in handling cases like that? No bankruptcy or bad loans on anyone of us.
  3. Hi guys... I'm noob, hoping to seek your advice if the below is pure marketing talk I was told that there is no point to wait for coe to lower since my trade in car will correspondingly lower. buy low sell also low. zero sum game. Does this make any sense? Age of trade in car matters? I recalled some ppl agreed with this. However some have a different view. Confused
  4. i have alot of hard liquor which over the years collected ... i have too many of it and wanted to get rid some of it... now drinking more of the red and white wines ... anyone can tell me where i can sell it off or someone want to offer for my collection??
  5. i have a few cracked or warped rims. 1. are there workshops that buy it as scrap metal? can fetch price? if worthless, i give my friend let him make coffee table. 2. if have 1 rim is good condition, will you try to sell or scrap it?
  6. I see a lot of new cars with no mileage selling as used car with 1 owner as it is registered. Why do car dealers do that? They would lose money doing that as it's considered a 1 owner car although there's no mileage on it? Is it because they have COE expiring that they have to register with a car? What other possible reasons?
  7. If your are selling your car which is left with less than 1 year COE, the agent will usually take the car at paper value. If you are scrapping it yourself, you might get about $100 extra for the body value. If the car is relatively good, I am willing to buy over for personal use. I will pay you the paper value, plus the remaining road tax, plus a few hundred dollars - definitely slightly more if you sell to an agent or scrap yourself. I can do the transfer of the car from your name to my name. This will be a WIN WIN for both parties. If you are interested, please PM me details. Im not keen on cars that has more than 1 year COE left or less than 3 months COE left. Thank you.
  8. I am looking at getting a second hand Vios or Jazz. Anyone keen to sell to me or if you know of anyone who need to sell please PM me. Thanks!

Current paper value : $15k if i sell my car to dealer, will they buy back at the paper value or higher than that ? Please help advice as this is my time first changing to another car..

  17. I always have this mindset when it comes to buy things, products and services. Especially when i am servicing my car or intending to upgrade some of the parts. When you are looking for cheap and good, it will not be fast. when you are looking for good and fast, it will not be cheap. when you are looking for fast and cheap, it will not be good. Just my 2 cents if thoughts! Do give me your opinion on this!
  18. People, Looking at current property prices, will you cash out on your ONLY property to downgrade?? Let's say if one downgrade the property to a small leasehold 99yr condo, one can probably free up a lot of cash (1-2mil?) The point is what to do with the cash. Buy overseas property? London? Singapore is no1 foreign buying of London properties... Australia? I am seriously thinking about this route with the current property prices... Jurong hitting 1700 psf.... Is it a good idea? My previous neighbour sold his place together with me in 2009 and he went rental while I upgraded... needless to say, he is screwed...
  19. hi bro/sis, i have few antique items, like cameras, plates, etc. that i want to sell it off. Any idea how i can go for it? thanks in advance.

  21. http://www.asiaone.com/News/Latest%2BNews/...223-329594.html News @ AsiaOne Legoland tickets go on sale in Singapore There's even better news: the annual passes are being sold at a promotional price. -myp Joy Fang Thu, Feb 23, 2012 my paper Mr Siegfried Boerst, general manager of Legoland Malaysia, sees Singapore as an "important resident market" for Asia's first Legoland, to open later this year. Lego enthusiasts here can now get tickets to the upcoming Legoland Malaysia more easily, as the theme park's annual passes go on sale at Sistic from today. The tickets were previously available only on Malaysia's AirAsia RedTix website. There's even better news: the annual passes are being sold at a promotional price. An adult (those aged 12 and up) ticket is going at RM195 (S$80) per ticket, while tickets for children (ages three to 11) are going at RM150 each. The promotional prices will last till March 31, and the tickets will be valid from the park's opening day to Dec 31 next year. After March 31, the annual passes will cost RM275 for an adult and RM210 for a child. The park - located in Johor's Iskandar development - will announce its official opening date in April. It will likely be in September or October, depending on the speed of construction, Legoland Malaysia's general manager, Mr Siegfried Boerst, told my paper. The theme park will have an exhibit at the Natas fair from tomorrow to Sunday. "The park is not just for children but also for the adults. We hope they will have a fun family day out that is also educational and interactive," said Mr Boerst. Once the opening date is announced, day passes - at RM140 for an adult, and RM110 for a child - will go on sale, he added. Legoland Malaysia's highlights will include Lego reproductions of landmarks from Asean countries, built with 25 million Lego pieces. Singaporeans can look forward to a mini-Singapore featuring everyday street life such as moving SMRT buses and people, said Mr Boerst. Reproduced landmarks include the Merlion, the Singapore Flyer and the Singapore Zoo, in an area of 10m by 50m. About two to three million pieces will be used to build the Singapore models. Mr Boerst sees Singapore as an "important resident market" and he is working with the Singapore Tourism Board to develop marketing for the park. Tickets to Legoland Malaysia are available through Sistic (www.sistic.com.sg or tel: 6348-5555). http://www.legoland.com.my/
