Call Bernard 94562426 or Jimmy 97486005 if you need to know more details or want to sign up for the event. The rules ot the Time Attack are below SGTRACKIES TIME ATTACK will be broken up into three divisions, and then further divided into three subdivisions except the Superlite Class: Street Class Modified Class Unlimited Class Superlite Class Vehicle Classes Each class, except the Superlite class, will be divided into: Front Wheel Drive Rear Wheel Drive All Wheel Drive Rules Applicable to All Classes: -Use of nitrous oxide strictly prohibited -Propane injection systems prohibited -Alcohol and Water Injection is PERMITTED -Single Engine Per-Vehicle -Internal Combustion Engines Only - Entire original factory Floor plan must be in place -Vehicle's outline must be largely true to the original -Tube Frame Chassis Prohibited - OEM Suspension Mounting Points Must Be maintained - Suspension Type Cannot be Changed -- Example: If a vehicle is equipped from the factory with MacPherson Struts, a "wishbone" suspension cannot be installed in its place. - Vehicles must be built from a model originally produced for legal street use in Singapore, Malaysia - Aerodynamic parts are PERMITTED, i.e. Wings, Splitters, Canards, Undertrays, Diffusers, etc - All vehicles must use tires that are legal for use on public roadways in the Singapore/ Malaysia. Except Unlimited. - Vehicle can be driven/raced by any driver, only one driver per car and one car per driver. - All cars are to use an AMB timing transponder supplied by Sepang. SGtrackies personnel will perform a mandatory tech inspection of each vehicle entered into the Time Attack event. To better determine which class your car falls under check the Vehicle Classification Sheet. STREET CLASS The Street Class is designed for lightly to heavily modified "daily driven" vehicles. Street Class is home for the grassroots enthusiast or tuner shop looking to prove they have they fastest vehicle on street tires. Rules for Street Class Cars: - Must be registered and legal for use on public roadways - Replacement or removal of OE glass prohibited - All Street Class vehicles must use DOT street tires with a UTQG tread wear rating of 140 or higher, Tires with UTQG tread wear rating under 140 are not permitted in Street Class. Tires must have wear rating number at the side of the tire. Cars with tires that do not have wear rating numbers at the side of the tires will be classified under Unlimited Class. -"full carbon fiber bodied" vehicles prohibited from Street Class - Carbon Fiber and other light weight material non OEM Hoods, Trunks/Hatches/ Fenders permitted - Carbon Fiber/Aluminum/Fiberglass and other light weight material non OEM Doors/Quarter Panels and Roofs not permitted - Convertibles with hard tops can utilize Carbon Fiber/Aluminum/Fiberglass hard tops. - All Street Class vehicles are not permitted to have fully "gutted" interiors. Partially gutted interiors are allowed. Interiors must have all OEM dash and door panel components. Replacement of drivers and passengers seat are permitted. - Vehicles in Street Class are allowed gutted and striped interior from behind the drivers seat. -Roll Cages are Allowed in Street Class, as long as it allows for the installation of the rear seats (if the vehicle is equipped from the factory with rear seats). The rear seats can be removed for the Time Attack event, but it must be physically possible to re-install the rear seats without having to remove or modify the roll cage. Vehicles that have roll cages that make it impossible to install the rear seats without having to modify or remove the roll cage will be relegated to the Unlimited Class. Bolt in cross braces, that are removable, and that would not allow (physically) the rear seats to be installed when connected, are permitted, granted the cross brace can be removed. This removal capability must be demonstrated to a SGtrackies tech inspector. - Factory restraints are permitted for any vehicle in street class. - Snell 95 or higher rated helmet required. - Convertibles allowed on track with roll bars. Some cars with factory roll protection are allowed if they are equipped with a factory OEM roll protection system. For Example a Honda S2000 & Porsche Boxster has a 4 point factory roll protection system that is allowed. Check with your car manufacture to determine the effectiveness of roll protection. - See "Vehicle Classification List" For List of Vehicles Relegated to Modified Class or Unlimited Class. i.e. some vehicles will NOT be permitted in the Street Class due to specific horse power or other specifications. For example, a Porsche Carrera GT will be relegated to the Unlimited class due to there "super car" specification. Not all cars will be able to compete in the Street class. Depending on vehicle dynamics, some cars will be relegated to the Modifed class, click " Vehicle Classes " for the list of vehicles relegated to the Limited class. MODIFIED CLASS The Modified Class is designed for vehicles that are more heavily modified and/ or and have a greater specific power output. Rules for Modified Class Cars: - Must be registered and legal for use on public roadways - Replacement or removal of OE glass prohibited - All Modified Class vehicles are permitted to use DOT Approved tires with UTQG tread wear ratings of 50 and above. Tires with less than a UTQG rating of 50 are not permitted in Modified Class. -"full carbon fiber bodied" vehicles prohibited from Street Class - Carbon Fiber and other light weight material non OEM Hoods, Trunks/Hatches/ Fenders permitted - Carbon Fiber/Aluminum/Fiberglass and other light weight material non OEM Doors/Quarter Panels and Roofs not permitted - Convertibles with hard tops can utilize Carbon Fiber/Aluminum/Fiberglass hard tops. - All Modified Class vehicles are not permitted to have fully "gutted" interiors. However, the tire size is no bigger than 15 inch. -"full carbon fiber bodied" vehicles prohibited - Carbon Fiber and other light weight material non OEM Hoods, Trunks/Hatches/ Fenders permitted - Carbon Fiber/Aluminum/Fiberglass and other light weight material non OEM Doors/Quarter Panels and Roofs not permitted - Convertibles with hard tops can utilize Carbon Fiber/Aluminum/Fiberglass hard tops. - All Superlite Class vehicles are not permitted to have fully "gutted" interiors.
