  4. Hi fellow KIA Peeps, May I know where do you send your car for servicing? Do you send it to Cycle and Carriage KIA Motors, or any recommended workshops that work purely on KIA cars, and have good recommendations? (as I realised some workshops are brand specific - they don't do certain cars as either the people have no knowledge, or it simply doesn't apply) Thanks in advance! Need to do some servicing soon, hence gathering some opinions and getting valuable feedback
  5. Any bro tried this? Got a flyer on my car windscreen about this offer, so I checked out their website. But not sure good or not: http://www.liquidgold.com.sg/promotions.html
  6. Hi friends my car going to 70000km any good recommendation for work shop to go servicing to in the east? ? thanks in advance
  7. Recently went for servicing; changed engine oil, oil filter and alternator. Funny thing is after driving for about 10 mins onwards, I will hear a squeaking sound from the steering wheel when I turn in either clockwise or anti-clockwise rotation. This is abnormal because it was OK before the servicing. The squeaking sound is like rubber rubbing against each other due to friction but I cannot be sure. My dad is saying the mechanic might have over tightened something. Anybody here has experience with this problem?
  8. Is Autobac good? I had mine previous one at ComfortAutomotive but they use SPC engine oil. Like to use some other brand the next servicing. So anyone has any recemmendation ? Thanks
  9. hello brothers n sisters!! anyone out there know places i can service my coilover? im aware that speedwerks jb close redy and the only answer i got from them is to come down KL to service i dont mind any workshop as long they are able to service the coilover, im more than happy ...any suggestion including in JB also can thanks peeps

  11. Dear All, Can anyone recommend any good servicing workshop & also tyre wheel balancing, rotation & high speed balancing in Johor Bahru? Good for some members if they prefer to save some $$ as compare to do servicing & tyre rotation in Singapore.
  12. Any recommend Workshop to recommend for repair for Merc Benz. My car come out the logo at the Dash Board, saw from the instruction book, it mean that one of the Sensors is not working. But when i went to my usual workshop, he told me it the A/C pipe is leaking and quote me $2k just to change the A/C pipe but my A/C is working fine, it either he does not have the equipement to test the Sensors or just trying to bluff me. Asking if any forumers know of any work shop does does conti car or specilze in Merc Benz (Not too expensive preference) Thank you
  13. Just did my servicing and I'm quite sure it is not my imagination, but the engine revs seems to be noiser and not as refined now. Nothing has changed in terms of sound insulation, so what could have affected the sound? Engine oil? I changed belt also, could that be the culprit? A bit disturbed by the situation. Plus just now park already can hear ticking sound coming from under the car, spooked enough to actually stoop down to see if something wrong or got bomb. Wah lao eh....
  14. Hi guys, thinking of getting a 2nd-hand BMW 523i. End-2007 car. Most of them have about 80,000 to 100,000km mileage. I worry about the servicing. What is the crucial expensive part that has to be changed at around this mileage? So that I can check with the seller whether that has already been changed anot. Please gimme your inputs. Thanks!
  15. has anyone done car servicing at autosaver b4? any comments on service? thanks.
  16. Just wanna share with forumer here. First time servicing at this workshop at Circuit Rd. I took the $110 package. After checking, recommended to change air filter $28, auto transmission oil $90, aircon filter $28 & service throttle body/resetting $70. Total damage $326. The boss & workers there are friendly. I used to go to Riverview but want to give other workshop a try. The boss adviced me to change spark plug & brake pad on 50k servicing. Any feedback is most welcome.
  17. As per topic, does BM change EO at 5k km free servicing?
  18. if i provide a workshop space with the lift system and basic tool for oil change and other servicing needs will you be interested to DIY yourself?
  19. Any suggestions? Good. Fast. best if near town. =) preferably reasonably priced too!
  20. Anyone can recommend a good workshop that is able to service / repair Dodge Caliber? Their AD is the same as Hyundai so maybe a workshop with mechanics formerly working at Komoco. Many thanks!
  21. went to do a 30000km servicing at BM Pandan 3 days ago and inform the Service Engineer that there was some rattling noise coming from the under carriage when I step on brake and release and also when moving off turning right. The noise is random only. Later that day, got a call that the rattling noise is due to both the left and right drive shaft worn out and recommended to change them. Price including labour is $2700! I told the SE to KIV. Has anyone face drive shaft problems before and does it really cost that much to replaced? My car is 4.5 years old and very low mileage as the driving distance for my trips are usually very short.
  22. I have been looking out for cheap groupon deal for car servicing, mostly all around $50+. I think this should be the cheapest one around?! $38 for 4L X-Rev Engine Oil Change + Oil Filter + 21 Point Check Too bad i just go JB to do my oil change, and end up spending more than $38 to bring my own oil + filter to JB :( http://www.groupon.sg/deals/deals-near-me/...6377819/.Q4Pf4z X-Rev oil is fully synthetic some more, so this deal is better than buying car-lube from Giants, may be i should buy one groupon to keep since it valid till March 2013 http://www.x-lube.com/
  23. Read through the major servicing menu and found that there are a lot of parts replacement which comes with a *, which note "if applicable" The cost will be around $400++. My thought is that if those parts are not replaced, the servicing will be as good as a normal servicing which cost $100+, which means I am effectively paying $300 for visual check, which of course I wouldn't know if the check is even conducted and how detailed. Can I know how many of you still go back to your agent for servicing after warranty period, and how likely major servicing has all the listed parts replaced? I am OK with the price if the parts are replaced. Else, I would rather go elsewhere and get them changed. Any feedback?
  24. hi fellow forum brothers and sisters any good recommendation of workshops for hyundai cars? cause personally i think komocco quite costly but have no idea which workshops to go to thanks in advance!
