recent months got so many advertisement on the TV, Flyer and The New Paper. don't even count those illegal ah longs. which group are they targeting. PRs? middle to low income group? gamblers? Some thing is really not right. Is any agency looking into this???

Hi. Would like to find out which shop sells TOYO tyres and has proper equipments that changes the tyres without damaging rims. Did a tyre change at a popular tyre shop at AMK(can't mention name) and all 4 rims got scratched. Boss still argue that the damage was by my driving. Do not want the same to happen again. Please advise.

Singapore to Ringgit is at an all time high and it makes perfect sense to go to JB to change my tyres. Anyone has any recommendation for tyres shops for me to get tyres with the profile of 195/50 R15. Budget is RM900 for 4 tyres.

Did search but unable to find any car battery shop that is open till late tonight. Can anyone help? Car battery flat now. Getting friend to help jump start, then plan to drive to tyre shop. Any near Bt Merah? Or anywhere also fine. Thks

Was more conscious of expiry dates after marrying my wife.. So one day, i checked the expiry dates of some Value$ shop items which had such low prices compared to anywhere else.. guess what? All were expired! Few weeks later, which was yesterday, i passed by another Value$ shop, checked their expiry date for just 1 item, expired since 3 months ago!!!

Dear all, I need your advice and suggestion on where to go,shop and eat(买东西吃东西). I would be going on 2 week holiday to Hong Kong, early next month. However 2 weeks seem a bit long to stay in Hong Kong only so I thinking of visiting maybe Shenzhen, Guangzhou and maybe Macua, as they are accessible by public transport. I would really appreciate to know more on to shop, eat and see maybe more on Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Macua . There is 2 thread that is pretty comprehensive on Hong Kong, which I have link below. For fellow forumers looking for furniture shop the abovementioned is certainly one you want to stay away. Our nightmare begin when we made the purchase for dining chairs with cushions (chair not useable without cushions) in mid Jan to be delivered this week. After selecting the cushion color and wood stain color we proceeded to make full payment. Few hours later the sales person called to inform that theres additional charges for cushions of approximate 1/3 of the chair price which we must top up or else cancel transaction. Looking at my invoice w clearly states that it's chairs + cushions, of course I refused to top up nor cancel the transactions. Having being served by a round robin of shop staff our efforts to get the order fulfilled were in vain. Most disappointedly a personal call to John Erdos himself had him siding his staff part of story that there wasn't anything amiss, a top up is required and no refund will be entertained. A staff who chose to remain anonymous said that this approach is consistent with past incidents. Past the delivery date, I still have not received what I paid for. I have lodged a police report and wld be seeking small claim tribunal intervention. Needless to say I personally condemns and blacklist it. Anyone has similar bad experience with this vendor or suggestion pls share.

Sorry Loki, hijack ur thread a while, as I dunno and maybe cant create a new topic. I need some advise from fellow bros & sis. I recently have been negotiating a shop rental contract with NTUC, the whole process took about 2 months. Since the 1st submission of my proposal/ concept & floor plan from the designer, I have been asked to re submit more than 10 times regarding the store layout & design. Though the process is frustrating and tiring, I sucked it up.(Cause they are a BIG ORG) The bombshell came few days ago, they rejected my application and proposal,reason being my trade in not in their consideration list. WTF..... After almost 2 months of emailing to n fro, countless drawing from my designer($150 per piece),all I get is a short and simple answer.(We regret to inform you that your propose trade is not suitable for us) In the 1st place, why waste my time on this whole shit. I would like to know which channel can I go to, to demand a better explanation. I really would like to tie all of them to a bowling pin & row over with a 18 pounder....shit.... Any input of ideas and advise will be deeply appreciated. Thanks in advance. Sorry again to OT this thread.

Hi Guys, My front 2 tyres are worn out by the sides due to too much "cornering" but my back 2 tyres are still looking good. So i need to change the back 2 tyres to the front and i will need to do alignment. Is there any shop in AMK that can do alignment fast as i have allocated an hour (3-4pm) to do this before i rush back to office. Thanks
