  2. Hi guys Need help on 3 items. I am using the Sony MD-CD set with CD changer and a set of tweeters and original speakers. 1-- How do I stop the sound that goes ti-to-ti-to after I switch off the engine? Seems like all Sony has it. 2-- How do I stop a hissing sound from the speakers? happened after I changed the orginal Alpine set to a Sony set. Could it be the wiring done wrong? Seems ok to me. Sound test was ok. 3-- The set I am using has 2 colors but I forgot how to change them. How do I do that? I lost the menu

  4. I realised that whenever I drive very very slowly, especially during reverse, there is the above stated sound, seems to be coming from the back. This sound is so intermitten that I can't really source the problem. It comes regardless whether my Toledo's clutch is engaged or not. What the distributor's mech said that it could be brake dust since our pads produce a lot of dust. He said that it usually happens during reverse since the car is now going the opposite direction and could be rubbing the accumulated dust. Could it be other problems?
  5. Need help.. This morning.. whether I am on the move or stationary, I keep hearing the water dripping noise inside my car. Checked the air-con filter, it is not wet at all I realised that as long my engine is on, the sounds comes in Any advice ??
  6. Greetings, I am a novice in ICE and is hoping to have a "decent" setup. (not high end but just average) My current setup consists of a Kenwood 2-DIN headunit, a 4 channel Lanzar amp and 2 sets of Alphasonik 6.5" component speakers (front and back). However, I find that the bass is rather weak and would like your advise on how to improve the bass. Should I: (1) add a 8" or 10" subwoofer (2) replace the rear 6.5" component speakers by a set of 6x9 3-way speakers Thanks in advance for your advise.

  9. If you get knocking sounds when braking in your 850/70 series, check the a-arm bushing when it connects to the chassis sub-frame. 4 in total and should be replace is worn out.
  10. Any recommended setup for sedans? I heard a lot of negative feedbacks that it is not recommended to put basetube in sedan cars ?? Any gurus or professionals pls enlighten me?
  11. ICE gurus, this is the layout of Volvo's highest end sound system. I believe is driven by Alpine HU and external AMP with Dynaudio speakers.
