  1. Hi there, 1. For those of you who have done the soundproofing on the 4 doors, did you observe that your door alignment might be off after the work? 2. The 4 doors were orginally factory fitted using precision engineering whereas soundproof workers will take it down and screw it back. So I'm not sure whether the alignment will be as perfect since they don't have proper tools or machinery to do it. 3. I wonder whether you can get the Distributor to check and re-align the 4 doors during service routines? Regards,
  2. Just wondering if anyone has used the B-quite Extreme Or B-quite Ultimate soundproofing material. It was claim supposed to as good as Dynamat Extreme and a whole lot cheaper. I was quoted B-quite Extreme - 50 Sq Feet for US$155 including shipping to singapore and B-quite Ultimate - 50 sq ft for US$210 including shipping to singapore. Very reasonably priced compare to Dynamat.

Just like to know what makes of soundproofing you use in your car. a) Are you satisfied with the performance of the material used? b) Do you face any problems with the use of the soundproof materials? c) If you would soundprrof your next car, will you use the same make of soundproofing materials?
  4. Hi all, wanted to do the soundproofing and bought all material liao.. will do it part by part butwondering which part of the sounproof is the most effective in terms of redusing noise while driving? Cost i'll spend more time and layers of bitument sheet + insuflex foam on it....

  7. Hi, Any of you guys did soundproofing at Hap Li Car Trimming before? A friend of mine did his Matrix there sometime ago and he told me they are good. It cost him less than S$1K to soundproof the whole car. Another one of you can give some reviews on Hap Li Car Trimming?

  10. Dear All, Wondering what is the difference between foam type (Insulflex, Aeroflex) and mat type (Accumat, Dynamat, etc) material for soundproofing? Which is more cost effective and I believe both have different functions right? I intend to soundproof my 4 doors and wheel arch, what material would be the most cost efffective?
  11. Hi all not too sure where to post this...tot this might be a good place ! To improve upon the stock sound system in my car i plan to sound clad the car (undercarraige and wheel wells only). It is by tuffcoat people abt 400++ i think. Any bro here has done it b4 and will there be peeling or flacking of the soundproff material in the long run? Is it ok to use high pressure jet sary on the SP material. Thanks Darkness
  12. Hi, i was thinking of soundproofing my floorpan. Popped by Sin Kit yesterday and Darren offered me $280. The material used is bitumen only. If i want to add Aerofoam, it'll be $340. U guys think it's ok? He charges $90/door too for accumat. I was thinking of asking him to do the floorpan and doors for me while i do the boot and bonnet myself. Wat do u guys think?
