  1. Yahoo news: Australian rugby league player banned for biting opponent's penis By World of Sport (original post from Yahoo Eurosport here) An Australian rugby league player has been banned for eight matches after being accused of biting an opponent's penis during a tackle in a local league game. Anthony Watts, a former professional player in Australia's top-flight National Rugby League, was charged following a video review of the Gold Coast match last week. Footage of the match posted on Youtube showed the 26-year-old Tugun Seahawks utility pulled down in a tackle near the tryline and subsequently involved in a melee with remonstrating players for the opposing Bilambil Jets team. The video later showed one of the Jets players pulling down his shorts in front of the referee. "After the judiciary panel reviewed footage as well as reports from medical staff and match officials, it found Watts guilty of contrary conduct," Gold Coast Rugby League said. "He has been suspended from playing until the completion of the eighth round of the 2014 season." A Gold Coast Rugby League official told Reuters Watts had said he intended to appeal the charge, but was yet to file the necessary paperwork. Watts, who was dumped by NRL team Sydney Roosters in 2011 for disciplinary problems, was sentenced to community service in June for being involved in a brawl between rival motorcyle gangs in the Gold Coast. That followed a conviction on a weapons possession charge by a New South Wales court two weeks earlier after he was found carrying knuckle-dusters. Australian Rules football players have been punished for a number of unsavoury on-field incidents. Peter Filandia, a former top-flight Australian Rules player, was banned for 10 games for biting an opponent's testicles during a minor league match in 2002. Former NRL player John Hopoate, who represented Australia in rugby league, was banned in 2001 and sacked by his club Wests Tigers for inserting his fingers into opposing players' anuses. link: http://sg.sports.yahoo.com/blogs/fit-to-po...-001650560.html video in the link ....
  2. I'm currently on bf goodrich g sport, and as it's already balding, I'm considering the Hankook v12 as my replacement as recommended by Frankie from Soh Tyres. I've read the reviews here that the sidewall is quite soft for v12, and as I'm a person who likes to take corners at "higher than normal" speeds, I would like to find out if anyone knows if the sidewall for the v12 is already harder than the bf goodrich. Was considering the RS2 but I think it's already out of production. I'm currently running on 195/50/15, which is why the RS3 is out of the question due to 17 inch not being available. If there are any other recommendations similar to the performance of the v12 I'm all ears as well! Thanks.
  3. In 2011, Audi presented the Quattro Concept, the final production version of which has yet to come. But now, it seems that the German automaker is finally ready to take the wraps off the final production version when the 1984 Audi Sport Quattro celebrates its 30th anniversary. Rumour has it that the final version will look sportier as well as sharper than the Quattro Concept. It's also said that the final version of the car will carry a twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 engine. Capable of producing a total power output of 650bhp, the car will seemingly take only 3.4 seconds to go from 0-100km/h. The Quattro Concept, however, had to count on a turbocharged 2.5-litre five-cylinder engine with a total power output of 408bhp. In addition to a powerful V8 engine, the successor to the Audi Sport Quattro will also feature a sports tuned suspension with adaptive dampers, a sports Quattro rear differential, and carbon-ceramic brakes. To keep things light, Audi will be using such components as aluminium, magnesium, and carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP). In total, the car won't weigh over 1,300kg. If you are keen on seeing the car with your very own eyes, you may want to anticipate the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show as the German automaker is likely to show it there. And, if all the rumoured specifications turn out to be true in the end, expect to see a price tag of around
  4. Hi all, Am new to MCF. Will be booking a Latio Sport soon and it comes with 15" alloys, 185/65R15 tires. What advantages would there be to upgrading to 16" rims? Would appreciate some basic advice as I know nothing in this area whatsoever. :/ However, after reading through some posts and websites, I'm thinking of switching to 16" OZ Superleggeras with Michelin Pilot Precedas for a balance between performance and some comfort. Any comments on this combination, and what specs tires would I need for a Latio Sport with 16" rims? Thanks!
  5. Following the step of its German rival, Mercedes-Benz, BMW will also launch an exclusive 5 Series lineup that only the Japanese can get their hands on. The premium German automaker will be offering sedan and touring variants for the BMW 5 Series Exclusive Sport Edition. The Japanese can choose a 2.0-litre diesel or a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged engine for both variants. These exclusive 5 Series will be limited to only 300 units, featuring a complete M-Sport package for its exterior. Meanwhile, on the interior, customers will get the comfort from a three-spoke M steering wheel, sports seats wrapped in Cinnamon Brown leather material, a Heads-Up Display, an upgraded audio system and a lot more to mention. If you're a fan of BMW and are lucky enough to be living in Japan, we think you might want to add this limited edition model to your collection. You can take it home for an exchange of something between 7,190,000 to 7,490,000 Japanese Yen. After all, you won't find the BMW 5 Series Exclusive Sport Edition in other countries or when the model is sold out - it's limited to 300 units only, remember?
  6. The race going to start in a few minutes time with Red bull on pole position with 2 Ferrari on the 2nd & 3rd position. Going to be a slippery race and some drifting on the race track.
  7. Can anyone explain why a Ferrari spins that easily with wide tyres ? My guess are : 1) Engine Horse Power against car Weight is poorly unbalance ? 2) Front Wheel Drive over-powerful against precise steering control ? 3) Poor Driving Skill of this Super Sport Car ?

  9. Hi, Inspired by the mega Alfa thread on MCF, so I am starting a thread for those interested to talk about their ZC generation Swifts or any related/unrelated stuff. I know there are a few ZC owners here, like Lucaswh & BBSyah. Please pop right in and chip in with all your knowledge/nonsense! As an introduction, I am driving a MY2010 Swift 1.6M (ZC31) in Pearl White. Registered as an OPC and took delivery on 12/12/10. So far no mods, except for some lights for vanity reasons. Been enjoying the drive but the hard part is keeping the RPM below 4k for this run-in period and getting used to a NA manual! Lets see where this thread goes, shall we?

  13. I purchased a black colour sport rim from LS tyre shop in payaubi. Initially they used the chrome colour metal nut to secured the rims. I don't really like the metal nuts as it look a but odd and don't blend with the black rim. When I asked if can change to black colour, they claim there a charge of $50 (total 20 nos) as the black colour is made of better quality and would rust whereas the chrome metal colour one would rust. Anyway tried to bargain for better price but not successful and purchased from them.It is reasonable for them to claim so and charged that amount for black colour nuts?
  14. Anyone tried these... esp 17" and above?

  23. I have seen and heard many time....the sporty cars owner just revved their engine and speed off straight from starting their cars. While we were taught to drive gently for the initial period to warm up the engine, and also the fact is the greatest engine wear is during start up. So cold revving of sport cars n quick acceleration will wear out the engine! So is it worth it to buy second sportcars? The sane thought I have on Harley motorcycles, these weekends bikers...usually rev and shoot off when the engines are cold. Some say their are rich to pay for repairs, some say the low mileage will not cause the wear n tear to be significant. Any one with comments n discussion?
  24. Below is the list of "Sports" car commonly found in Singapore road. Almost all the Japanese ones can't do 0-100 under 10 sec or above 200km/hr. As for Golf, the real "Sport" should be the R32 rather than this junior, despite fast but still entry level machine. What does the "Sport" tell you? To highlight that particular car model is NOT a Sports Car and Please don't handle like one? Mitsubishi Lancer 1.6A GLX Sports Mitsubishi Grandis 2.4A Sports Gear Mitsubishi Colt Plus 1.5A Sports Nissan Latio 1.5A Sports Premium Toyota Vios 1.5E A Sports Mitsubishi Lancer EX 1.5A GLS Sports Suzuki Swift Sport 1.6M Peugeot 207CC 1.6A Sport Volkswagen Tiguan 2.0 Sport TSI Suzuki Ignis Sport 1.5M Volkswagen Golf 1.4A Sport TSI Volkswagen Jetta 1.4 Sport TSI
