Ok, wanna curb myself from selling the ride and getting another one...so thought of spraying a new colour?? One of my friends said it'll lower the car value when I eventually export the car, is that true?? He said Spray = $$, then export = Less Value...in the end, lose TWICE... I bought my car 2nd hand, so...does it still matter? For the records, its a Sept 03 Honda Jazz....thinking of spraying it to WHITE.. Oh...and whats a good price?? hehehee What do you pple think??

Hi all..i am goin to send my car for respray soon. But i still can't decide on which colour i want to spray. So i posted a poll to heed some advices from bros & sis here.. My ride is a 92 Civic ESI. I intend to install a pair of M3 mirrors sprayed matt black and my windows tinted 90% dark(except the front windscreen) So if i choose white..the combination will still be normal.. If i choose yellow..it may look quite fierce. Overall..i still want to choose a colour which is easy to maintain and nice lookin.

anyone know which workshop can do 2 tone colour spray paint and the cost? thank you. Thinking of respraying my galant but duno what colour leh..... now is black but dun wish to respray same colour if possible cuz like abit stupid

I have a problem after sending my car for exterior spray-painting. When traveling above 80km/h. Noise from the windscreen could be heard. Initially it sounded as though some bees or hornets were flying on the windscreen, flapping their wings rigorously. One week later, the noise turned high-pitched and sounded as though someone was blowing a sweet wrapper on his lips. I am quite certain it is due to some unsealed leakage from the windscreen. I went back to the shop and fed-back the issue but the mechanic told me they did not dismantle the windscreen during the exterior spray-painting. They then did a stationary check spraying water on my car and insisted it is due to the hardened rubber seal on my door. I know mine is an old car (1991 Nissan Presea), with some pre-existing leakage on the rimless windows, but all this while I have not experienced any noise from these pre-existing minor leakages. I am certain it is from the windscreen. They may not have removed it during the spray-painting process, but I think the leakage could have occurred during the high-temperature curing process. The temperature gradient could have caused some parts of the original seal to be broken. Can someone please kindly advise a way to solve this noise problem? Can I just apply a silicone seal along the edges as I can -
Guys.. need ur PRECIOUS advice here.... since last year... my fathers latio has gathered quite alot of dings and dents... plus alot of scratches.. with one long scratch from the back to the front.... cause he parks at industrial area.... errm... The car engine has been solved already... previously it was like no power... so now its so smooth... thats besides the point. Now... the car bumper... early this year.. kena scratched by some foreign object.. doesnt look like its car reversed then scrapped.. looks like someone took something to hack it... as u all can see in the first picture... it looks like someone vandalised it.. then yeah... SO.. back to the point... my father also doesnt know how long he wants to stay with the car.. but we both quite like the champange colour of the Latio.... the latio champange colour.. whatever you call it.... not sure.. but dunno whether to spray or not.. OR.. just go do up the bumper.. and just AMazing glaze the car again.. and stay with it till we sell it....

Hi Guys.. I'm driving a Nissan Sunny Face-Lifted N16.. I'm actually thinking of spray painting my disc brakes, DIY. I've got the tools ready, cross spanner and car jack. I can remove my tyres and reveal only the disc brakes. However, I've a couple of questions b4 I proceed. I'll be using Nippon Pylox Paint, Red (Base Colour) and Transparent (Lecquer). 1) Can normal Pylox withstand the discbrakes heat? 2) How high is the disc brakes heat that it can reach at max? 3) Can I just cover areas not to be sprayed and reveal the whole disc brake and spray the whole disc brake? Because when I study the Disc Brake, there is actually the 'Plastic' Part, where the middle there is a piece of Metal Part. I just wanna confirm b4 I carry it out, as I scare my Pylox cant withstand the heat, and whether can I spray it this way. Scare the paint leak into the disc brake or what then brake failure or something like that. Haha... Well, Thanks in advance! =)

Hi Guys.. Another question regarding spray paints. Any brands of spray paint code their colours exactrly the same to our own car colour codes? Like for example, Champagne Sunny is EVO, Silver Sunny is KYO, etc.. Got such spray paints?

hi guys.... needed some advices regarding spray painting... recently my front bumper paint started to crack and peel off i was thinking to get the whole bumper for respray. which place would u guys recommend? and my car is full of dings frm others morons should i do it once in for all @ the spray painting work shop (which is call panel knocking, is it?) or visit pdr or lye design before or after the respray of bumper? which process is better? needed all your advice... thks in advance... b.t.w merry x'mas and a happy new year ahead!!!!!!

I was at Sim Lim carpark. The HDB carpark nearest to sim lim. This guy like very friendly came up to my car. I told him not interested. He insisted on showing. Sprayed some kind of aerosol foam on my door panel. Say will make car shinny and remove dent marks! End up leaving a blotch of blurr! He rubbed with toilet paper...made it worse! Then add water and rub hardeR ! I told him to back off.... Just managed to remove the blotch with the meguair's step 3 or 4, cannot remember... but certain angle can still see the patch... . I think the sealant reacted with the spray.... So if you take care of your car, don't let this guy spray their so called 'good' product on your paint work.....cause more harm then good.....

Folks I just got back my car from a spray paint shop that did a whole car spray paint for me. I noticed that there were some "dents"...not actual indentations but more because of uneven touch up. I have requested these to be fixed and the shop said no problem...so that's fine. However, I also realized that there are alot of hairline scratches on the paint job presumably due to the waxing after the spray job. Is this normal and therefore acceptable? Or should I insist on them re-spraying those affected parts (which is quite a bit)? M -

Parked my car outside a factory in Jurong today, and when I return 2 hours later, to my horror, some SOB has knocked into my 1-month old optra, damaging 2 doors. Hit and run. Now I need to come out from my own pocket for repair. Hopefuly, they can knock back the door panel and respray the 2 doors. Any recommendation for a good workshop in Bukit Merah (coz nearer my house)? Or should I go back to SA? How much do you think is a reasonable amount to pay? Appreciate all comments. Thanks
