  7. I've tried this with my car's air conditioner on a hot day. I tried to reroute the wiper water spray to cool the condenser/radiator The water cools the condenser and radiator off, which cools the car of course (temporarily). It also reduces the time required to cool the car. Especially effective when the car is moving. Wonder if there are simple water injection kits (for intercooler) for the aircon condenser? Thanks.

  12. Hi, like to hear from the guys/gals on your take for 'cleaning' the exhaust. my mech sparyed water into exhaust and later revved real hard to get the water out.. at the same time soot and black carbon came out. After a few sprays, the gas coming out was clear and water coming out was white. Also the force that sprayed the water out from the exhaust was quite far... about 5 m. is this normal way of cleaning the exhaust ? won't it damage the cat converter ?
  13. hi guys well looked at the resource folder already but there are quite a few.... dunno which to choose... hoping that you guys will give me some pointers on the cheapest and the fastest place to do spray paint and probably remove one or two small dents... and how long does the car have to stay in the workshop? hoping that it won't take too long.. thanks for all inputs!

    Spray on Shine

Seen people using spray on shine. Seems very easy, just spray and wipe. Wonder if it only shine the car or also acts as cleaning and waxing agent like the traditional applied on kind that we are using. Good or not?

  16. Read this recently in an overseas forum, read it if you use things like Armour All: Quote: "......... you're spot on adam, armour all does cause cracking - if you start using it DO NOT STOP and do it regularly - when you stop - leave it a while and it will crack! it has a silicone in it which goes brittle in sunlight and, if, the plastic is not regularly treated the silicone hardens which causes the cracking. a guy years ago who tinted my windows on my old commodore suggested i use baby oil!..... -----Original Message----- Sent: Friday, 9 August 2002 3:47 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Classic-Celica] Re: Dash pad restoration.... I heard that it causes cracking cause it makes the dash needy (an addict) and if it is used to the stuff, and then doesn't get it, that it will crack easier than if it weren't an addict. So I just heard that if you do armor-all or another product, that you have to do it all the time and can't let the dash dry out... Causes awful cracking............. " unquote. what do you guys think, any similar experience? Cheers
