  1. I was "inspired" by a friend who drove like that. He got his license way before me. So some time after passing driving test, has been driving like that and become second nature liao. Is really one handed, not awhile, but 99% of the time from once seated in the car to reach destination and leave the car. I guess a lot here also drive like that right? Please note that this is not haolian thread...just like my "barefoot thread", just wanna see the norm or peculiar way people drive.
  2. I am sharing what I posted in Vios forum here. For the price I paid for, it's definite a good workmanship! OMG! I just can't stop "molesting" it Cost: $150 cash (for my vios. Other model please check) outside easily $220++ $150 is individual price, not group buy price. Location: Premier-One Auto Pte. Ltd. Pamela: 97885772 71 Kaki Bukit Ave 1 Shun Li Industrial Park Singapore 417948 (same row as Autosaver) Please call for appointment, don't walk in. This is their advertisement in MCF: http://www.mycarforum.com/index.php?autoco...mp;product=6391 http://www.mycarforum.com/index.php?autoco...t&MID=10945 PS: I don't get commission for this recommendation. I came in to share this contact because the Lady Boss Pamela is very nice. So if you go, must mention "goh" who is driving a vios, she should remember. Hope those who are looking for a steering wheel wrapping, find this useful.

  5. Hi guys.... Sry if this was discussed before but cldnt find it anywhere here.... I am driving a 1.6 m getz and recently, i realise that my steering wheel seem to keep steering towards the right side on a straight road... I have recently rotated my tires and have balanced them. 6. .................... Did an oil change today n noticed oil stains below on my car after the oil pan area... (Not on the ground) Asked the Mech n he says its my power steering fluid... I check all my car's fluids whenever I open my bonnet... Which is every other time I wash my car... Which is pretty often.... And have not had any fluids been below the max mark.... So now should i..... 1) just drive as per normal.... Until my steering gets too heavy or noisy.... 2) get it fixed... Which i guess i hv no idea why to change or just a seal? I had a friend who had no problems with his power steering, he so called flushed it with new fluid... And problems n sounds came... The fluid change might not hv been the cause of his problems but is the steering just like the aircon? Not spoilt don't backside itchy renew oil n top up gas when its fine? Your expert views will be much appreciated.

  13. The 2011 Hyundai Sonata has only been on sale for a few months, but it's already winning over many American mid-size sedan buyers, and we've been every impressed by what we've found in our first drive and review. However, the rakish new Sonata could face a recall. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has launched an investigation into about 16,300 Sonatas due to potential steering issues. NHTSA has received reports that cite problems with either a separation of the upper universal joint in the intermediate steering shaft assembly. The result is a complete loss of steering capability, though the universal joint was not completely separated. Hyundai says that it is unaware of any accidents or injuries connected to this issue and that it is fully cooperating with NHTSA on the investigation. The automaker also says that it had received reports of two vehicles with a steering problem linked to the upper universal joint, but that both were repaired without issue. Expect the results of NHTSA's investigation to be released in the coming weeks [source: The Detroit News]

  18. WoooHooo Had a dillemma of either fixing my own steering pump or buying new pump or looking for recon pump. It was leaking oil. C&C which is a lousy AD had no parts available nor the exploded drawings of the pump internals. So much hype being a useless AD. They told me to buy a whole set instead. Recon pumps were difficult to source. And scrapyard $$ aren't cheap either. So I had no other choice but to DIY. Managed to get parts from local suppliers, no thanks to AD of course. So guys with leaking pumps can PM me if you need help.
