I've seen certain cars, like evos, rx8 and alfas, which have their veh reg number stuck onto the front bumper instead of a conventional plate. Is this simply a sticker? And is it legal if the font size is the same as normal?

Hi, Regretted but left warning stickers (by car film installers) stuck to my plastic side panels (where window buttons are) for a few weeks. This morning removed them but pieces still stuck to the plastic. Is there any good way of removing the stains to restore to original condition? Thanks!
