  1. Bro and sis of MCF... my relative is getting a honda stream RSZ... but so many PI... which one provide a safer service? Thanks all...
  2. my colleague just scrapped 2 years Honda Stream , and bought toyota rush, IYO, it is downgrade or upgrade?
  3. according to LTA, between January and June this year, 3,748 units of the Wish were sold by parallel importers , Compare this with just 2,749 units for the whole of last year . Wish TOP 1 MPV model in Singapore but I still prone to Stream if i need MPV[thumbsup]
  4. http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/news/motoring..._prototype.html Looks alot like the odyssey..
  5. Hi guys. I've test driven the new Stream. Looks is subjective. Some may like it, some may not. The car looks very low but still can see the front well enough for most of the average drivers. Interior : Nice steering wheel. Able to adjust in-out, up-down. Meter in optitron. Cup holders has illumination when you turn on the headlight. It has the AUTO function for auto detecting to turn on the headlight. 3rd row roof lining looks low but still comfortable for average height. 3rd row for passenger is comfy and IMHO, better than Wish. Handling : Car performs well in cornering. Not much of the body-roll and precised in the corner that you're negotiating. Pick-up : Decent for a 1.8L car and quite nimble ALTHOUGH it's SOHC only. Why SOHC? Found out that the engine will save fuel when you slow down to a full stop. It sort of cut away the engine to save fuel. Overall : Sleek design, nice dashboard, in-build console box with a decent size to put your stuff. The car is a killer on looks with 18-19 incher. Gearbox works in the same way like the Edix, D3 and no over-drive but it's a 5 speeder. IMHO, this car beats the Wish hands down. But still, it's just my opinion.

  8. Honda Announces an All-New Stream TOKYO, Japan, July 13, 2006 - Honda announced the release of an all-new Stream. Featuring a low-floor platform, the new Stream combines stylish compact exterior with a comfortable interior and powerful driving performance. With a low overall height of 1,545mm*, the new Stream has a modern dynamic look and fits conveniently into most restricted-height mechanical parking lots. The new Stream will go on sale from Friday, July 14 at Honda automobile dealers throughout Japan. The new, second-generation Stream is a 7-passenger car with the versatility and functionality to make getting around a true pleasure. Along with its vibrant, low-slung styling, it delivers total comfort and a feeling of integration wherever the driver and passengers come in contact with the vehicle - whether getting in and out, steering, throttle response, or changing the seat arrangements. Body frame rigidity has been enhanced for improved driving performance, and the front sub-pillars have been eliminated to attain a significant increase in visibility. The floor design has also been significantly improved to create a flat foot area from corner to corner and a significantly lower floor for the third row of seats. These innovations mean improved passenger comfort as well as a lower center of gravity for superior handling. Both powerplants-the newly developed 2.0l i-VTEC engine with CVT and the 1.8l i-VTEC engine with 5-speed automatic transmission-deliver powerful, smooth driving performance from low-to-mid speeds. The sporty RSZ, available in both 2.0-liter and 1.8-liter versions, comes equipped with 17-inch aluminum wheels and a custom-tuned suspension for extra driving enjoyment. The RSZ's custom aerodynamic parts, black interior, and other attractive design features combine to enhance the car's sporty driving image. All models have earned Japanese Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport certification as Low-Emissions Vehicles, with emission levels 75% lower than those required by 2005 standards, while the front-wheel-drive models exceed Japanese government fuel economy standards for 2010 by 10%. The new Stream is also available with the most advanced Honda safety technologies, including IHCC** (Intelligent Highway Cruise Control), which controls vehicle speed and distance to the car ahead to reduce the burden on the driver, and CMBS2 (Collision Mitigation Brake System) + E-pretensioners**, which uses millimeter wave radar technology to detect the possibility of a collision and then help avoid or reduce the force of the collision. * 4WD model height is 1,570mm (micro antenna excluded from both measurements). ** Available as a factory option on all FWD models Key Features of the New Stream Styling The new Stream's dynamic styling features an agile, low-slung form that expresses functional beauty reminiscent of a coupe.

  11. Front looks like a mini Odessey. Engine includes the R18 (5AT) from the current civic and an upsized R18, called the R20 (7 speed CVT).
  12. After getting the JW product from Gen2, finally got a chance to use it on my car this weekend. The process is quite standard. Wash Claybar Prime by hand with foam applicator 1coat of AJ by hand, remove with finishing pad at speed 4 2nd coat of AJ by hand and remove with MF towel After the Prime is removed, the smoothness of the paintwork is amazing. After the AJ is removed, I was speechless after seeing the shine on the car and the extra layer seem thick. On Sunday morning, after washing off the car with water. Apply a 2nd coat of AJ.
  13. can above MPV owner give a comprehensive comment, eg, FC, performance, price etc, can only buy from PI?
  14. Hi all, Could any brudder who has booked your Honda Stream 2L recently, share what freebies did your SE throw in to sweeten the deal? say 70% loan will be taken. Thanks.
  15. Hi all, 1. I'm interested in Edix, a noble concept of 3x2. I'm looking at 1.7 Vtec model and is prepared to trade-in my 11th months old Civic for about 55K to 57K after checking with the PIs. So far the lowest offer of Edix is around 70k through phone. 2. I've no experience in buying vehicle from PI so I would like to seek your advice in dealing with them. What are the things should I take note in getting the Edix from a PI? By the way, do PI sell display car or less popular color at a lower price? 3. I went Kah Motor today to test drive Stream. I was advised by the SE that I bought my Civic from that Stream new model is very nice and will be launched 3rd 2006. He asked me to wait as he believed Stream will be a better choice than Edix by then. He commented that Edix is using an obsolete engine spec that KM will not bring in coupled with servicing and spart parts issue with PI, he urge me to think twice. Regards,
  16. Hi all, 1. Who know where to find information on the new 06 Honda Stream? 2. It seems that Honda wanted a more consistent look and feel across its car range. The new 06 Odyessy is totally different from the current batch of Ody in term of look! Please see http://automobiles.honda.com/models/exteri...r_360s_enhanced. It has sliding doors now. 3. So it is no surprise that the front of new Stream will look like the new Civic. Regards,
  17. The Stream looks like a wagon that has a high roof I heard that the 2.0 I-Vtec engine of the Stream can be tuned to Integra Type R 220ps spec! True???? That'll be one fast MPV!

  19. S.O.S. I just added a new car alarm system to my ride ( Honda Stream 2.0L ) but now the air bag warning light is always on ( in the dash board ). The mech suspected that is caused by him taking the cable off the battery to install the car alarm system. Anyone can help how to make sure my air bag is function properly ? Thanks in advance.

  24. Hi dear forumers, i am new here hope you could help :) i am planning to buy a 2nd hand 1.7L Stream. Saw in sgcarmart most of the 2001-2002 are selling between $65k, isn't these a bit on the high side? I think the OMV was in the $24k range, COE was $30k range. May i know what will be the reasonable price for one leh? Have test drove one, feel comfy with the condition. Any potential problem for a 2-3 years old Stream (1.7 or 2.0) ah? Thanks :)
