Hi all, would like to seek your advice on this case My best friend received a letter Writ of Summons from the lawyer representing the bank. The letter has given him within 8 days for 2 choices Admit the claim or Dispute the claim If he Admit the claim, does he require to pay the amount claimed and costs of $800 to the Plaintiff or his solicitor within 8 days from the date of the letter. Hi All, Been having this intermittent issue of my radio head unit going dead. I normally notice this after i heard a 'bom' sound from the speaker and when I look at my radio head unit, its dead and cannot turn on at all. Sometimes i need to wait a while before the head unit will comes alive again or I can off and on the car to restore its life. This only happens sometimes when I am about to park the car or reversing, never happens when I am driving on the road at normal speed. Been to an audio accessories shop and because the fault cannot be replicated during my time there as its intermittent, they advise me to either, 1) change fuse 2) change head unit 3) leave it till head unit totally konk. any bros can advise if you had experience similar problem before? thanks in advance. oh yeah, my head unit is stock for my subaru legacy.

I'm driving an 08/09 legacy gt that comes with the stock Macintosh audio system and the headunit is integrated into my centre console. A common issue with these is that the in-dash cd changer will jam after a few years and that's the problem I face now. Most owners tend to install an aftermarket HU, although some used to get the Macintosh HU sent to the agent or something for repair. Thing is the legacy forums were shut down and it seems that the previous batch of Legacy owners that used to "play audio" aren't active on the FB legacy page so I have not been able to get a recommendation for a shop that can help me out. All I need is to get the CDs removed from the changer, no need for repair of the HU. I'm selling the car soon and this is one of the things I want to get sorted before I put it for sale (some of the CDs got sentimental value to me). Does anyone know of any shops that deal with Macintosh HUs or any other shop that is willing to give it a try? I approached a shop that previously did a stock sub replacement for me but they refused to even try. I know there's a risk of the CDs getting damaged but I'm willing to take that chance and even leave the car at the shop for a day or two if necessary, I just really want those CDs out.

what do you do ? what can you do ? or can you do anything ? visited an installer yesterday to fix aftermarket alarm (entry level) for my 2005 imprezza. after the alarm fix, everything about the alarm worked swee-swee ... but when I drove the car off, I realized that the "D" light in my display cluster did not light up so I drove back to the installer. they opened up the cluster and said that the bulb had blown and they did not have any replacement bulb. so now my car only have 1,2,3,N and P, so what do you do when you go do something and then something else spoils ? worst part is they told me the bulb cannot buy outside also.

just bought a multi-function headunit from aliexpress ... told the seller the dimension of my current HU and he told me can fit. got the package yesterday and went down to fix it this morning ... but once i took the new HU and placed in in front of my current HU, can see that the new HU is about 5mm longer and can't possibly fit the current faceplate. anyone face this problem before ? tried to search online but these things cost more than to send it back to the seller for a refund and since my car is old model ... dunno have or not also. any other work around other than to spend more at a shop?

HKS has some new products for the new Subaru WRX STi and got someone to do a short film to show us what they can do to improve the car's daily drivability. The products shown in the beautifully shot video includes its new HIPERMAX MAX IV GT suspension which is said to be able to retain a smooth ride when driving on a rough road surface while still providing a high level cornering performance. Fitment of its HI-POWER SPEC L sports exhaust saves around 10kg of weight when swapped out with the stock exhaust. Re-flashing of the CPU was also done to improve power throughout the rev range. My Subaru R2 Aircon when idling is not cold, when cruising is cold. Cruising along expressway is cold but when come to traffic light stop, Aircon is not cold. BTW, I have just changed new Compressor and dryer. Is this Subaru R2 Characteristic? Any member have this issue too?

Fans of the previous Subaru Forester STi must be rejoicing now because Subaru will be launching a new STi version of the current fourth generation soon. Unveiled in 2004, the last Forester STi was probably one of the sportiest SUVs out there. Unfortunately it was only meant for sale in Japan. Teased ahead of its official world debut on November 25th, we expect the car to come with the 2.5-litre turbocharged boxer engine from the WRX STi which means it will have 296bhp and 407Nm of torque. Or it could use the Japan-only 2.0-litre turbocharged unit that is found in their variant of the WRX STi which outputs 304bhp and 422Nm of torque. Yup, the Japanese keep all the good stuff to themselves. As seen from the photos, owners will be getting a car that comes with a bolder bodykit, new rims and bigger brakes. Let's hope the car will make it to our shores!

Last saturday night I was out and about in the fair City of Singapore. I ended up in the area around Mustafa at about 11.00 at night. Little India is one of the places to go if you want to endure traffic jams at night. Usually, people will find it hard to even wake up in the morning and dread facing the morning rush hour traffic but when things are cheap at a certain place, people are willing to suffer things they do not want to suffer. But tell this to people who love shopping and they will say that shopping is different. It is always worth suffering if you want to do some shopping when all the other stores are closed and it is different as it isn't work therefore it's alright to suffer a little. Anyway, some you you readers out there would realize that I have a certain fascination about cars other than a Subaru utilizing a Subaru Impreza bonnet scoop. I managed to find one more right in front of Mustafa's. This time the scoop resides on a Toyota. Yes. I suppose since Toyota now owns some shares it must be okay for this Toyota to use the scoop. Wait, I have mentioned it before. And now before some of you out there say -
