Hi, Is it normal to have different gap from the fender to the tires? For my rear right the gap is 2 fingers, for my rear left the gap is 3 fingers. I checked it on level ground. Is this normal? I had just change the shock and spring.

Hi everyone, I was moving out of a very tight corner parking lot due to some idiot who parked his car in front of me and blocking my way out. While turning out, my left rear wheel hit the low curb and ran over it. After that, driving seemed to be a bit strange....I can feel some slight waddling occasionally at back of my car when moving, especially when driving through those speed regulating strips. Is this my imagination or has something actually gone wrong?

Hi guys, Saw a previous post about "clok clok sound" and suddenly realised "hey I got a problem too! " Few months ago, I kept on hearing a "croke croke" sound when I drive over some bumpy roads or over the humps. And I felt my shock absorbers getting stiffer and ...140K liao. Should be worth to change. So I changed all four of them. But after changing .... I still hear the "croke croke" sound leh. What else can be changed? Sounds like a big fat rod is loose or something. Mostly the sound comes when the front tyres hit the humps or bumpy roads. But rear also have loh.... haiyah...how ah? Any advise? Going to see my mechanic this sat. He always think I change every part of the car liao. Everytime service the car, change this / that fluid/oil.... Sometimes a little bit of sound I also ask him to sit in a drive around. Scared this sat, if I can't find a hump or bumpy road near his workshop, then I cannot reproduce the sound. Appreciate any advise. Thanks

During a 20K maintenance on my Altis recently, the mechnanic checked my suspension and told me the 2 front suspension is leaking and asked me to go to BM and get it changed as it is still under warranty. As I'm quite tied down recently and getting appointment with BM is a pain in the @ss, I've still not changed it yet. Just wanna checked with guys/gals here what exactly will the impact of a leaking suspension cause I've not felt any difference.

howdy all. has anyone had any interest in whiteline parts for their cars ?? as a whiteline dealer , i would be able to send over some alignment products like anti lift/castor kits , camber bolt kits etc etc , now that i am using paypal and TNT couriers... larger items like swaybars can be sourced locally through Dave (starletGT) , but thought i would offer if anyone wants anything from whiteline... not only for the starlet , but any whiteline product for any car can be arranged... please message me , or [email protected] if i can help my singapore friends out.. cheers.. Dear All, Is it normal to have those squecking sound when you get in/out of the car from the suspension coil? I got this even when I first collected the car and has been wondering if this is normal. A few friends had asked me this question and I am embarassed to tell them I dunno.

Should I expect the above items to come with the suspension itself if I buy from the stockists? or sold separately? Driving N1.5, is this only for front or front and back? is this something i should change if i change the suspension?

The stock sti suspension is wearing out and due for change. I am not a hardcore trackie, only track occasionally, mostly playing with drag. Comfort and good handling with some aggressive daily driving is the main criteria, would like hear any recommendation? Thanks.

few mths ago when i applied brake, sometimes will hear sound from my front right suspension. its sounds like ee.ee.e...e...e...e.. something like tat. back then oni hear it sometimes when i brake. recently almost everytime i brake also can hear the sound. any idea wats wrong with it n wat produces the sound. isit the suspension? need to change all the 4 suspension? thks

hi guys its been sometime since i last posted anything. anyway got a problem that i hope u guys mite b able to help. my ride is currently on sport lowered coils and i noticed dat for the front there is about two finger gap between the tyre and the fender and for the rear its about one finger gap between the tyre and the fender. i was tinking of reducing the gap for the front to about one finger spacing so that its the same as the rear but i my unsure how to go about doing it. hope u guys can help

Hi everyone, I am new to this forum. heads up - just got a call for rear suspension recall. So far 8 cars have been recalled for 'inspection'. On top of that - already had to go for steering wheel alignment 3x and they still have not fixed it. They seem to be polite but not very skilled.... I'm gonna ask for compensation....

A local workshop has special offer for Tien suspension (height-adjustable) till end Sept at $1050 per set of four including installation. Anyone used this before and good anot??.... softer/harder than stock??.... better/so-so handling improvement?? All advices/comments will be most welcome.... Many thanks in advance

Guys, I wanna know what are some sure signs that the suspension is near it's life span and time for a change? Normally just need to change the absorbers, springs no need right? I'm hearing some knocking sound at low speed, but it's really on-off and not over humps. So wondering if it is time to change sus...

Hi guys, I noticed that my front right suspension seems to be lower than the front left one. Also, my wheel alignment is also out... I am thinking of correcting the alignment, but is there anything I can do about the suspension? If I leave it like this, will there be any problem with the mechanical, stability and safety of the car? Thanks

Haf a set of lowering spring at home..used it for 2 weeks onli... bought from malaysia branded improve, but after installing, the bumping effect is really bad, thus took it out.. now backside itch feel like putting it, thus wana ask if anyone who knows of suspenions specialist, who can assist mi on whether i shld put the spring back, or theres way to modify the dampers o make the ride more bumpy, have heard ppl telling mi that changing the bushing helps, thus wana ask around...
