  1. This accolade used to be held by Nissan note. Recently. Note prices have increased steadily and Suzuki swift became the most budget MIJ. Quite surprising given swift is a lifestyle car and ought to be priced a premium over a practical car like note. Well, if u need a car that has Japanese reliability and quality. A mini like driving experience. Swift (keyless. Push start. 7 airbags. Auto aircon. Cruise n audio controls, 16 inch rims, DRL) can be a consideration .
  2. Guys , I am going to renewal my COE which is expiring this month. I am thinking of replacing to new body kit with a fresh coat of different color paint for whole car. Is it cheaper to do it in Johor than Singapore? Any recommend shop which are famous for Singapore car in Johor?

  7. To those who have been driving the new Suzuki Swift for a while, perhaps this could be the thread for any update or complaint or any component or mechanical failure. This is so that we can determine how reliable has Swift been. Personally, I have voided my warranty by sending my car to other workshop for servicing instead of going down to the Authorised workshop, which charges higher price and also takes longer waiting time. Any component failure so far, folks?
  8. Anybody spotted this reckless driver cutting in and out of lanes along TPE, appreciate if you could private message me. Incident happened just a while ago at about 2315hrs, CTE exit to TPE. The white swift was seen exiting to Sengkang East Road. Pic showing CTE tunnel exit to TPE.
  9. Hi all.. think it's better to shift from the coe thread to this folder, since it's reached 100 pages liao. Also better to have a dedicated TCSS thread so as not to mislead ppl who want to know about COE cars, into reading 100+ pages just to find out that there's only 2-3 pages of useful info. To continue from the COE thread (half of us not driving coe cars anw): http://www.mycarforum.com/forum/COE_car_cl...260063/#2260063 Feel free to discuss, ask or just talk about anything under the sun. Keep the ball rolling.. Cheers,
  10. Hi, I'm planning to get a really budget and fuel efficient car, wonder what's the 1.2A swift FC is like?
  11. Hi, Inspired by the mega Alfa thread on MCF, so I am starting a thread for those interested to talk about their ZC generation Swifts or any related/unrelated stuff. I know there are a few ZC owners here, like Lucaswh & BBSyah. Please pop right in and chip in with all your knowledge/nonsense! As an introduction, I am driving a MY2010 Swift 1.6M (ZC31) in Pearl White. Registered as an OPC and took delivery on 12/12/10. So far no mods, except for some lights for vanity reasons. Been enjoying the drive but the hard part is keeping the RPM below 4k for this run-in period and getting used to a NA manual! Lets see where this thread goes, shall we?
  12. Whats the minimum Ron for all the different swift out there?

  14. Need some advice on the following. Looking at getting a second car for the missus who just passed license. Objective is a cheap small hatchback for her to get used to driving and work (she's in sales). Pretty much narrowed down to Getz or Swift. Can any past/current drivers share your experience? Be it maintenance, FC, positive or negative encounters. Btw, quite a few engine variants, so remember to list your engine too! Thanks in advance!
  15. Hi fellow Swift bros, am a new Swift driver here. Don't mind me opening a new thread to ask some qns and you all can enlighten me 1) May i know where to buy the Suzuki manufacturer logo or emblem and paste it on the back of my car? Can i get it from the service center or the showroom at Pandan Crescent and then get someone to do it proper for me? 2) Can i send my vehicle to the official AD service center if it's already out of warranty? I don't mind paying the service charge if this is possible 3) Normally which service center you all head (if there's any preference) to as i understand there are 5 of them in Singapore? Thanks

  22. bros care to share wat are ur FC n wat petrol ur pump. i think after i install bk for my old swift to evo style, the stupid swift really thought itself as a real evo. bloody hell. my previous FC still got about 12-13+km per litre. after changing rims n wider tyres n bk, drop till the latest about 10km/litre. the worst is when the aircon i change from ECO to the A/c, the FC drops till to EVO style. hahaha..... nb the lowest i hit is about 8km/litre.
