  2. hi people, I just signed on a sylphy 1.5. I don't like the way the tires look... so does that mean I can change the sports rim to a different one? I asked my SE and he recommends me to go outside and get it changed as there are more choices. I prefer to do it in Tan chong though. Can I change the sports rim to one similar to the Latio since they are both 15 and both locally fitted" ? Must top up one or not? I read that there are some impact on FC if anyhow change sports rim but if changing from 15" to 15" should be ok right?
  3. Hi, I am looking for struct bar for Sylphy. Got any recommendation? Thanks in advance
  4. Guys, Just to check whether any Nissan Sylphy or Cefiro members here still use Garmin GPS even though there is AGIS which comes with the car? Care to share?
  5. I think it is a little-known fact that Malaysia has been building Nissan Latios and Grand Livinas for their home market - next in line is the Nissan Sylphy...... http://www.automotiveworld.com/WAM/content...contentid=67109 Would this start penetrating the Singapore market like how parts of Toyota and Honda's local showrooms are made up of Made in Thailand cars?
  6. First up, this metallic red Nissan sylphy required some attention on its side due to a long scratch which stretches from the front fender to the rear fender. Although the scratch did not reach the base, it still could be seen under certain lighting at an angle. All the cars shown below were washed and clayed before the polishing session and washed again before finishing with Sonus's Paintwork cleanser and Ultima's Paint Guard Plus. Scratch before n after @ the various panels: Bef: Aft: Bef: Aft: Bef: Aft: Other areas:
  7. Just bought a Sylphy from Ebay......collected from Sing Post.....no coe required
  8. Looking for a second hand one option, I found that prices for 2006 cars available are almost the same. Is it a no brainer to get the Cefiro? Or some advantage with Sylphy?
  9. Heard from somebodys chat , Sylphy sales figure is not good since it was launched half year ago , what is the reason? Price high, Latio reason, Civic FD reason, Underpower, FC, or....
  10. Hi any of you guys care to comment on the above cars. I was contemplating on this 3 models based on 65k budget. Below is some personal comments on this 3 model Nissan Sylphy 1.5A * Outstanding leg space for rear passengers. Think it should be the best in its class. * Very comfortable driving position but had yet to test drive. * Styling very Ah Pek especially the excessive chrome front grille. * Short width tall Body looks kind of a awkward. * 15" rim is a big turn off but as the car does not have a distinctive wheel arch and also the wheel well looks kind of a small to accomodate 17". * Any of you guys can comment on the road noise and pick up? * Personally think Black is the more sporty color as to hide that Ah pek look. Mazda 3 SP 1.6A Sedan * Very sporty outlook as compare to the pre face lift model. ( Except for the GT model) * Interior design very sporty but limited legroom for both driver and passenger. * Tried the pre facelift model very heavy road noise. * Poor pickup and high FC anybody can comment on the new SP model. Saw from other forum that actually the new SP is lighter. * Think the factory fitted sound system cannot play MP3 sounds * Was really tempted to commit but CO insist that the lousy legroom is a big no no. Ford Focus 1.6A Auto 4 Dr Sedan * Really love the design but must have full bodykit on. Looks so executive and different from the normal cars on road. Looks like a S40 from rear. * Superb handling but pick up sucks big time. * Reasonable interior legroom compare to the Mazda 3 eventhough they share the same platform. * Too bad RM is not bringing in the trend model anymore. Got to pay xtra 6K more for the Ghai model. Eventhough the additional option is quite worthwhile. So apart from my personal view above. Can any of you guys give me your personal feel?
  11. Expecting to collect my new ride next week. It will be complete with bodykit from TCM. But now headache those rims I like comes only with 5 bolt holes. As its more of a executive styling car i would prefer some chrome best in silver color rims. Furthermore my ride is in black color some chrome parts on the rims will make it standout. The original 195/65/15 looks so cartoon on such a big car. Check out some models in RM and Kyowa didn't manage to find the ones thats suitable with 4 bolt hole PCD 100. Can any of you guys suggest any other brands with the similar design below which I felt will look good on my new ride.
  12. saw the papers today, they were talking about how it has turned from an ugly duckling to a swan. which do you prefer... for me, i'd like the sylphy more but, i still have doubts on its FC. heard the FC for Sylphy is lower than usual. the honda civic is always a great car, but, i think its too low..
  13. Same Category and price nearly but: Nissan Sylphy 1.5L nice interior, luxurious look, very impressive FC, heard abt 15km/L Honda Civic 1.6L good exterior sporty looks, i-vtec powerful engine, 4-disc brake
