1. Was following this thread in SQ Talk Can't help but think SQ is just as out of touch and clueless abt the customer feelings on the ground ...when compared to the men in white panties. SQ Talk
2. Good morning, Welcome to my weekly PAP morning assembly prep talk. I would like to share with you an encounter last night while on the way home from City to Woodlands. As I just passed Yishun exit and still in SLE, traffic was relatively light at 12am. Roads started to get congested due to some road hoggers in front. Well, I was still on 110km/hour, an ideal speed in SLE after Yishun on the right lane. Passed by a low-down Vios who is in the middle lane at 100km/hour. Sensing my "high-speed" which is actually a decent speed I would be since this wont get my liscence chop, this joker sped up and tried to race with me with his "hard-to-cum-still-must-cum" low down cheapo yen car. Obviously I wasnt impressed. Here I am rushing for time back to my flat in Woodlands to pang-sai after my supper and this low-down cannot make it cheapo car not happy that i go at 110km/hour. Never mind, I kept to my lane. Next up, I approached a Subaru 1.6 on the right lane, hogging at 100km/hour. Again, another "hard-to-cum-still-must-cum" cheapo 1.6l car. I cant be bothered to high-beam or honk so I overtook this tortoise from the middle lane. Wah, this first vios desperately pumped up and can see that its coming so fast at 140-150km/hour just to overtake me from the left when i was in the middle lane keeping to a decent 110km/hour safety speed with no acceleration at all since I have reached an ideal speed. Then come the encore, this subaru cannot-make-it 1.6 just whacked his accelerator ALL the way and pump up to 140-150km/hour just to overtake me on my RIGHT and race with the cannot-make-it vios at the same time thinking I was also "racing" Here I am.. one lousy VIOS car thinking i am racing with him trying so hard to reach a speed which can make his liscence gone on my LEFT.. then another simply cheapo milo can SUBAROO zoomed past me at an equal speed, thinking both have " beaten " me. Can see they cheonging all the way at 150km/hour towards the next exit just to "prove" that they have " won " while I am featuring my accelerator ( not even 20% floored ) in the middle lane. I reached home safely and rushed to the tandas to relieve my load. Argh... thats really shiok. I will be the first to laugh if a TP were to get them cos their liscence will be chopped while I merely used up my credits gathered over the years and enjoy fresh credits next year. young punks nowdays got one ego problems. It must be something to do with the education race. Many of them cannot make it in schools and buay-tak-chey ( cannot study ) so they gota buy a car and show off to people that they are " there " already. They keep thinking big cars are out to race with them and they feel happy just to accelerate to "overtake" the bigger continental cars. Its just ay oung police corporal earning peanuts $1500/ month living in a one-room HDB flat using up ALL his family fortunes to buy a soup-up Colt sports trying to let people think he is rich. Poor means poor. Accept the fact and work hard to be a rich man. If you aint good enough, life will kick you in the balls.
3. With the recent news coming from a High Court case of unethical property agents, why do owners not sell their property themselves. Be it HDB or private. To be safe, owners should just require their own legal counsel in conveyancy ( private ). For HDB, almost everything is controlled by them anyway. The reasons given by many are varied but the most often reason is...No time. So what would be your reasons if you were to get a property agent to do the selling or buying for you?
4. The New York Times, 2 Feb 2009, ANDREW ROSS SORKIN What if Watchdogs Got Bonuses? " Tony Tan Keng Yam, deputy chairman and executive director of the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation, suggested that one reason American regulators fell down on the job was that they were paid too little.
5. Survey shows three quarters of Singaporeans feel secure in their jobs Despite the gloomy unemployment forecast, more than three quarters of working Singaporeans feel confident that their present job is secure. Based on a survey by TNS and Gallup International, just 30 per cent of Singaporean workers think there is a chance they might join the ranks of the unemployed this year. But if they do get retrenched, the majority fear it would take them a long time before they secure another job. Only 17 per cent of Singaporeans believe they would be able to find a new job fairly quickly. In this respect, Singaporeans are more pessimistic compared to the global average of 31 per cent. More than three quarters (78 per cent) say that unemployment will rise this year. Singaporeans also expect this year to be worse for them than last year. Just one in five (20 per cent) Singaporeans think that it will be better.
6. Save my house, Hollywood Desperate homeowners let in film crew to earn $3,000 a day, but risk getting nasty surprises January 20, 2009 HURTING from the current recession but love your home too much to sell it off? Some Los Angeles homeowners have found a way to earn extra cash while holding on to their houses - they called Hollywood. These enterprising homeowners have laid out the welcome mat for film crew, offering their homes as sets for movies and commercials, reported Bloomberg. Said MrJoseph Darrell, who runs Joe Darrell Location Service, which sources locations for film sets: 'We are getting a lot of calls (from homeowners). They say, 'Can you help me to bring a production to my home, because I have trouble making my payments.' But letting in film crews is not without setbacks. MsMarylin Bitner, who owns PlanA Locations, said one client 'almost had a heart attack' when he saw that his living room had been painted fluorescent yellow. But another was quite happy to have a new gate installed in front of his house, MsBitner said. He called it the 'pay-it-forward' gate. Clothing and jewellery designer Jayshree Gupta too is happy to let cameramen tramp about her 3,000-sq-ft Bevely Hills penthouse. 'I am doing it because I need money to maintain my lifestyle. A lot of my money is either gone or tied up. Right now I am hurting,' she said as crew members laid protective paper over her hardwood floor and moved in lighting and camera gear. Her home is being used for a day as a set for a TV commercial for a day. She declined to say how much she was being paid, but Mr Darrell, who landed the deal for her, said the going rate for filming work in a place like hers is US$2,000 ($3,000) to US$3,000 a day. That amount would pay half her monthly household bills and maid service. Added MsGupta: 'I am praying, praying, for more productions to come in. 'I thought it was a brilliant idea to help myself.' MsBitner told Bloomberg that she has been getting more than a dozen calls from homeowners each week, up from about two a week a year ago. She said: 'We're getting all sorts of houses. From small homes, where owners are hoping production money will save their house, to very large mansions, where owners hope to avoid having to dig into their savings or having to sell stocks.' Still, there are some perks to letting your property out for film-making. For one, income from residential filming for fewer than 15 days a year isn't subject to federal taxes, according to the Internal Revenue Service. For another, you may get to rub shoulders with a movie star. Said MsBitner: 'We've had Alec Baldwin, Jake Gyllenhaal and Robert Downey Jr, among many others. They are always posing with our clients' kids.' But it's not just homeowners that are trying to make their properties earn their keep. More owners of commercial buildings are also letting in film crews. But many are willing to settle for less than the US$6,500 or more a day that was previously offered, said MrDarrell. Meanwhile, one desperate homeowner, Mr Jerry Mendoza, was hard up enough to go to compromise on his integrity for more cash. He had hoped to sell his four-bedroom house in suburban Burbank, which he built in 2006, for US$1.3 million. When the tenants he rented the home to left in November, he leased it for filming. But the most he had received for a day was US$1,300, he said. So he offered his home on an Internet notice for the adult-film industry - because he had heard it paid up to US$5,000 a day. Maybe the homeowner can be part of the acting crews for the adult-firm industry :)
7. Anyone bro or sis here regretted changing their stock exhaust? Remus and Sebring are the only 2 LTA approved exos for my ride. Would like to heard valuable feedbacks before getting one. I know the low end wll suffer but the mid and high end will improve together with the sound. The effects on the low, mid and high are neligible or quite obvious?
8. So many people excited about this $2 COE, let me starts a poll to see how many people has booked/signed a new car since then

10. Have you ever wonder why are the town council allow to have such huge reserves such that they can invest in these failed bonds? Wouldn't it be prudent to put them in fixed deposit. Now I just hope that there will not be an increase in conservancy and hopefully the relevant town council will stand up and answer to us. The best thing that came out of this financial crisis is that we now know how much money the Town council are holding. Who's next???
11. 1. Happened to me long time ago at a Taxi stand. I bought bags of stuff and wanted to take a Mercz cab. The Mercz cab declined and asked me to go to the Yellow cab behind. 2. Nevermind, I went to the yellow cab and he asked me why didn't the Mercz car take me. I told him the story and he came down to quarrel with the Mercz Taxi driver. 3. Do you think Taxi drivers still choose their customers, particularly those drive "premuim" cabs? Regards,
12. just had a discussion with friends on perceptions as above, would really like to see what people really think when they are hiding behind the computer screen ha ha because i am also in that category. guess this knowledge will benefit the single 30s men too
13. Monday, November 03, 2008 Spain Lets Jobless Postpone Half of Mortgage Payments Nov. 3 (Bloomberg) -- Spain will allow unemployed workers to put off paying half their monthly mortgage payments for two years, Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero said today, part of a series of measures aimed at softening the impact of a shrinking economy. The postponed payments, up to a maximum of 500 euros ($640) a month, will be repaid from January 2011 in installments, Zapatero told a news conference in Madrid today. The measure, which applies to mortgages under 170,000 euros ($218,000), could be used by more than 500,000 people, he said. While the government will guarantee the payments due from 2011, the banks will bear the cost of the two-year postponement, said a spokeswoman at the Finance Ministry, who declined to be identified in line with policy.

15. As reported in CNA : 44% of Singapore parents believe their babies have sleep problem By Greta Georges, Channel NewsAsia | Posted: 02 October SINGAPORE: An international study has found that 44 per cent of Singapore parents believe their babies have a sleep problem, while in Caucasian countries, less than one quarter feel the same way. A study of over 1,000 local infants shows their average bedtime is at 9.38pm, compared to those in predominantly Caucasian countries, who sleep at 8.51pm. But Singapore babies are early risers - waking up at 6am, earlier than babies anywhere else. This means they get 40 minutes less sleep a day than their Caucasian counterparts, after factoring in daytime naps. Paediatrics professor from the School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, Dr Jodi Mindell, suggests three golden rules. She said, "We want parents to be putting their babies to bed early, we want them having a bedtime routine and we want them to help their babies fall asleep independently." And this means not rocking or nursing babies to sleep, even when they wake up at night, so they will learn to fall asleep on their own. Dr Mindell said, "We found that 3 out of 4 babies in Singapore are sleeping in their parents' room, though not all are sleeping in their parents' bed. Those babies who fall asleep independently, no matter in their parents' bed or a separate room, are going to sleep better at night." Dr Mindell is the leader of a global study by the Asia Pacific Paediatric Sleep Alliance and Johnson & Johnson. Sleep is a natural biological need and is especially important for babies in their formative first years, and babies may get cranky, irritable and accident prone if they do not get enough sleep. Establishing a bedtime routine goes a long way, say experts. Bathing, massaging or reading and cuddling can help babies stay 20 per cent longer in continuous sleep and help cut babies' night awakenings by half. Hmmm....... something to ponder about....... Our babies have sleep problems.......
16. More motorists hang on to their cars In an uncertain economy, less mileage means less wearing out of the machines and therefore, a decline in deregistration. -SUT Tan Dawn Wei Tue, Sep 23, 2008 The Sunday Times Uncertain economy, high fuel prices and poor resale market preventing many from going for new ones . Assistant engineer Horace Soh has been thinking about selling his Nissan Sunny lately. After all, he has had the car for five years and that is when owners here usually upgrade, downgrade or sell their wheels. But with an uncertain economy, high petrol prices and little prospect of fetching a good resale price, the 37-year-old father of two is keeping his car for now. "Job security is one thing to consider. And when you get a new car, it's a new liability as you'll have to stick with it for another three to five years. How will you get rid of it if the economy takes a turn for the worse?" he said. Singapore's car population has been on the up and up. There were 539,540 passenger cars at the end of July, 8.1 per cent more than at the same time last year. But it is not because more people are turning up at showrooms. Rather, fewer cars are being taken off the roads. This year's certificate of entitlement (COE) supply provides for 6,388 cars to be scrapped or re-exported a month. But between January and July, an average of only 5,190 cars were deregistered each month - 12 per cent fewer than the same period last year. Mr Tony Tan, marketing director at Borneo Motors which sells Toyota cars, said an uncertain economy, inflation and the higher cost of driving contribute to people driving less or keeping their cars longer. "If people use less, they don't see much wear and tear and the mileage is lower. This will cause deregistration to decline and we can expect this for a while," he said. Sales of new cars have also dropped: 58,777 were registered in the first seven months of this year, down from 65,973 during the same period last year. "The psychological position of the consumers is, better hold on to the old car and save for a rainy day," said Mr Jacky Wong, director of Richburg Motors. He has changed tack to promote hybrid cars that are less fuel-thirsty. Another reason is that there is little overseas demand for local cars as the Singapore dollar is stronger than many other currencies. Cars are usually bound for Russia, Africa and Caribbean countries. Hefty loans - up to 10 years - have also been a disincentive for drivers to switch cars. They have to fork out a sizeable lump sum in cash to redeem existing loans. Despite more people retaining their old cars, motor workshops have not seen more business. Workshop owner Eric Tan said he receives fewer orders now at his Bukit Merah garage from car dealers to touch up used models for overseas markets. He used to get eight to 10 such cars per month but has worked on only two in the past three months. "There are many workshops and it's very competitive," he said. The Government is hoping that its new policy - which kicked in on Sept 1 - of returning cash instead of handing out a paper rebate to offset taxes on a new car will encourage motorists to scrap or export their cars and switch to public transport. But those in the industry doubt it will lure many to give up their wheels for cash. "Cars are still very aspirational purchases. Owners are not likely to suddenly decide - in huge numbers - that they don't want to drive anymore, unless the economy takes a dive or if fuel prices skyrocket," said Borneo Motors' Mr Tan. Mr Wong feels the move may nudge some people to scrap their cars, but not necessarily discourage them from buying another. "You want to spend the cash and the most immediate desire is to buy a better car," he said.
17. SUV owners stick with their big (assed)cars THE sports utility vehicle (SUV) is being shunned in the US. The New York Times reported a 43.3 per cent drop in total SUV sales in July from a year ago. In Singapore, SUV sales are decreasing, albeit not as drastic as in the US. Ford announced a US$8.7 billion ($12.4 billion) shortfall a month ago, blaming the soaring price of oil and the fall in demand in America for big cars. SUV owners in the US cite the rising cost of petrol as the reason for trading in their cars for smaller, more fuel-efficient ones. Does the same trend apply to SUV owners in Singapore? Do petrol prices force SUV owners to opt for less petrol-hungry cars? The answer for both: No. Car dealers and people in the industry The New Paper spoke to have not seen the American trade-in trend happening here in the last few months. The SUVs here are among the 1,500 to 2,400cc range as compared to the 3,500cc ones in the US. So SUVs on Singapore roads do not guzzle as much fuel as their American counterparts. Mr Shafie Salim, a car dealer with Hua Yang Enterprise, said: 'Generally, SUV buyers here can afford to continue driving them despite high oil prices. It isn't a norm to downgrade.' And even if they couldn't afford it, Singaporeans may choose to hang on to their SUVs instead of trading them for smaller ones. Mr Henry Seah, marketing manager of sgCarMart, said that in certain scenarios, trading in may not be wise, especially for those with hefty car loans left on their SUVs. Mr Seah said: '(If the owner) has to top up his existing loan... the end result might be that he is no better off than owning that SUV. He might be paying more.' When asked if the cost of driving an SUV is a growing burden, some owners disagreed. Mr Ahmad Zuhairi, 32, who owns a 1500cc Daihatsu Terios, said: 'There are more fuel-efficient SUVs in the market compared to five years ago.' He feels that fuel consumption is a problem only for large, luxury brand SUVs. He said he would not trade in his SUV for a smaller car, given the increasing size of his family. Mr Daniel Tan, 38, recently traded in his 2,400cc Toyota Harrier for a 1,800cc Honda Crossroad. Both are SUVs, though the 1,800cc model boasts higher fuel efficiency. He said: 'The most important reason was because fuel prices were going up.' He now saves $200 a month on petrol. Why he did not switch to a smaller car in order to save even more? He said: 'Once you get the hang of an SUV, you can't turn back. You feel like the king of the road.' (ego booster?) Petrol prices should not affect SUV owners too badly, if they are willing to put up with the initial cost of an SUV. Perhaps those who are thinking of downgrading should consider the savings made from buying a cheaper car, instead of the savings made from decreased petrol consumption. Drop in Sales The sports utility vehicle (SUV) market in the US is facing a major shake-up. Autodata Corp, an automotive information services company, projected a 43.3 per cent fall in SUV sales Current sales of large SUVs dropped 28 per cent in the first quarter. Ford Motor is cutting back on SUV production after a US$8.7 billion loss. Rate of depreciation on large SUVs in US has been about twice to what is normal over the last half year or so. http://www.asiaone.com/Motoring/News/Story...0911-87226.html

19. A STOMPer has sent in a chain e-mail, which apparently tells car owners how they have the power to force oil companies to reduce their petrol price -- simply by not buying petrol from two of the biggest oil companies. According to the originator of the chain e-mail, by circulating the e-mail to at least 10 people, readers can help reach out to millions of oil consumers and consequently effect a drop in the price of oil. The e-mail said: "This is not the 'Don't buy petrol for one day' (campaign), but it will show you how car owners can get gasoline price down to US$2.00 per gallon by just forwarding this email to 10 people!" According to the e-mail, a retired Coca-Cola executive wrote down the idea, which came from his engineer friend who retired from Halliburton, an oil exploration company in the US. The writer said in the e-mail: "The oil companies laughed at us on last year 'Don't Buy Petrol For One day Campaign' because they knew we wouldn't continue to 'hurt' ourselves by refusing to buy gasoline. "It was more of an inconvenience to us than it was a problem to the oil companies. This time is different because consumers have the power to bring down the price of goods! He continued: "You're probably thinking that gasoline priced at about $2.00/gallon is normal due to oil price has hit all time high of US$118/barrel! "The oil companies and the OPEC nations have conditioned us to think that the only way for the gasoline price is up, the media reporting brisk car sales in China and India, power hungry nations building more power plants to grow their economy, the growth of dragon (China) and elephant (India) will gobble up most of the world resources; oil reserve going down and depleting in 50 years time, this is how we are being conditioned (brain washed). "Now we need to act together to show them (oil companies and OPEC) that BUYERS can control the marketplace...not sellers." He said this can be achieved if buyers act together to force a price war among oil companies. He said: "Here's the idea: For the rest of this year, don't buy gasoline from the two biggest companies, EXXON-MOBIL and SHELL, some car owners being brain washed to use a particular brand of petrol in order to keep their car engines in tip top condition which is not true, any brand will work well for your cars, you can reconfirm this if you have a friend who is a petroleum engineer, If not, just fill up your tank with another brand which you never used before to confirm it. "When the oil companies that we are boycotting are not selling any gas for a week, they will be inclined to reduce their prices. "If they reduce their prices, the other companies will have to follow suit; oil companies work like a cartel!" The writer said to have an impact, readers need to reach out to the millions of gas buyers to inform them of the idea, and that this is possible now due to power of the Internet. The e-mail explained: "If each of us send it to at least ten more (30 x 10 = 300)...and those 300 send it to at least ten more (300 x10=3,000)...and so on, by the time the message reaches the sixth group of people, we will have reached over THREE MILLION consumers. "If those three million get excited and pass this on to ten friends each, then 30 million people will have been contacted!" WILL THIS WORK OR NOT ? [sweatdrop]
20. I refer to the other thread "How to force oil companies to reduce their petrol price" by CCSSGM. i truly believe that many people are taking protests to the streets in many parts of the world... including many european nations. Many of these strikes are peaceful... showing demonstrations and displeasure. I'm an advocate of such peaceful demonstration... but i know that as sillyporeans, there's nothing we can do about it. The elite MIW team will continue to pretend that all are well and good at the ground level. There's one thing which can change that... it has been done before. and the MIW panicked back then. They even sent their most SENIOR (in terms of age and pay check) to mitigate the situation. We need the backing of the powerful Pilots Union. Only they can wake up MIW's farking idea. All SIA need to do is to screw themselves up again by cutting on pilots salary citing reasons to increase fuel cost (but continue to post strong earnings). Pilots Union unanimously go on strike. People support them in the media and escalate the oil tax issue. In doing so, Singaporeans (not sillyporeans anymore) will move as one, progress as a nation!
21. Got the email below, sound interesting but why they still upz to USD2+ per gallon now Everyone Bo chup?? This email originated from someone in the States.Theoretically his plan can work if there is concerted effort from all consumers. Please forward to all your friends in Singapore. DO NOT BUY FROM SHELL & MOBIL from now on till their prices start dropping. I used to work for Halliburton here in Singapore. Dick Chenney, vice president of USA, was the President of Halliburton at that time. Subject: How to force Oil companies to reduce their petrol price??? THIS IS NOT THE **'DON'T BUY' **PETROL FOR ONE DAY, BUT IT WILL SHOW YOU HOW CAR OWNERS CAN GET GASOLINE PRICE DOWN TO US$2.00 PER GALLON BY JUST FORWARDING THIS EMAIL TO 10 PEOPLE !!!* This idea was written out by a retired Coca Cola Executive. It came from one of his engineer buddies who retired from Halliburton, an oil exploration company in U.S. If you are tired of the gasoline price going up and up, AND it will continue to rise even further, then take time to read this please. **Mr Phillip Hollsworth offered his good idea. This makes MUCH MORE SENSE than the 'don't buy gasoline on a certain day' campaign that was going around last year April or May! It's worth your effort to join the campaign!!!! I heard that price of petrol is going to hit close to US$ 4.00 a gallon by next summer, and it might go up higher ! **YOU want gasoline prices to come down ?** All we need to do is that we must take some intelligent, UNITED ACTION NOW. The oil companies laughed at us on last year **'Don't Buy Petrol For One day Campaign' because they knew we wouldn't continue to 'hurt' ourselves by refusing to buy gasoline. It was more of an inconvenience to us than it was a problem to the oil companies. This time is different, consumers have the power to bring down the price of goods!!! This is a plan that can really work. Please read on and join us! You're probably thinking that gasoline priced at about $2.00/gallon is normal because oil price has hit all time high of US$120/barrel !!! The oil companies and the OPEC nations have conditioned us to think that the only way for the gasoline price is up, medias reporting brisk car sales in China and India, power hungry nations building more power plants to grow their economy, the growth of dragon(China) and elephant(India) will gobble up most of the world resources; oil reserve going down and depleting in 50 years time, this is how we are being conditioned(brain washed) NOW we need to act together to show them(oil companies and OPEC) that BUYERS can control the marketplace... not sellers. The only way we are going to see the price of gas coming down to a reasonable level is if we hit oil companies' revenue by not buying their products! And, we can do it WITHOUT hurting ourselves. How? Since many of us own and rely on our cars, we can't just stop buying gasoline!!!! But we CAN have an impact on gas price if we all act together to force a price war among the oil companies!!! Here's the idea: For the rest of this year, DON'T buy gasoline from the two biggest companies, EXXON-MOBIL and SHELL, some car owners being brain washed to use a particular brand of petrol in order to keep their car engines in tip top condition which is not true, any brand will work well for your cars, you can reconfirm this if you have a friend who is a petroleum engineer, If not, just fill up your tank with another brand which you never used before to confirm it. When the oil companies that we are boycotting are not selling any gas for a week, they will be inclined to reduce their prices. If they reduce their prices, the other companies will have to follow suit; oil companies work like a cartel !!!! To have an impact, we need to reach literally millions of Exxon-Mobil and SHELL gas buyers.. In the past, it was an uphill task but now, it's really simple to reach millions even billions of people. Keep reading and I will show you how to do it through the power of the internet.. I am sending this note to 30 people. If each of us send it to at least ten more (30 x 10 = 300) ... and those 300 send it to at least ten more (300 x10 =3,000)... and so on, by the time the message reaches the sixth group of people, we will have reached over THREE MILLION consumers. If those three million get excited and pass this on to ten friends each, then 30 million people will have been contacted! If it goes one level further, you guessed it......THREE HUNDRED MILLIONs PEOPLE!!! This 300 millions people just email this to 5 of his/her contacts, we reached 1.5 billions people !!! Are you excited as I am? All you have to do is send this to 10 people or more if you can, its so simple, isn't it? Just Do it ! OK ??? (If you don't understand how we can reach 1500 MILLIONS people and all you have to do is send this to 10 people. How long would all this take? If each of us sends! this e-mail out to ten or more people within one day of receipt, all 1500 MILLIONs people could be contacted within the next 9 days !!! I'll bet you didn't think you and I had so much power, did you! Acting together we can make a difference. If this makes sense to you, please pass this message on. I suggest that we don't buy from EXXON-MOBIL and SHELL UNTIL THEY LOWER THEIR PRICES AND KEEP THEM DOWN. THIS CAN REALLY WORK.* regards Bernard

23. instead of grilling these CEOs on how much profit, i suggest the lawmaker pass the bill of a 'special tax' for oil companies. the tax revenue then passed back to 'consumers' as relief. can sg do that ?
24. Do you guys feel like it's your car and no one should place their hands and leave their oily handprints all over the paint? My neighbour , I could tell, was obviously pissed off when his friend placed his hands on his car for support while talking... I saw this with my own eyes and I could tell from the expression. When his friend left, he was cussing. Haha Anyone of you guys feel this way ?
25. Just look at the sgcarmart ads, everyday 10+ new pages of 2nd hand cars for sale. I think many ppl cannot tahan the expensive petrol & are giving up their rides. Many of these are ppl who actually cant really afford to drive but too gung ho during last couple year's economic boom. Some wish to save money in preparation for coming slowdown as well. Also will see many almost new 6 month old cars for sale. So dont dumb dumb buy car from dealer...so many owners will be begging you to take over their rides. If wanna buy from dealer then chop siong siong. if no good deal walk away. So no need kan cheong spider and chase cars & coes cos there will be a glut soon. Oh btw do pump petrol soon cos crude hit a new high @ $115 a barrel.
