  2. I know some folks are buay song with my post. If I have offended you, I am sorry. I have nothing against you and no intention to make enemies with you. My purpose is just to have some chitchat but I guess I was getting to emotional. I am sorry.
  3. dunno when his next music album coming, so we satisfy ourselves 1st with this song written by him... man...this guy can really compose beautiful melodies and now he directs this mtv too... Write a letter if I miss you
  4. here's a post with the directions how to get there just in case u wanna visit when in Japan http://garage36.blogspot.com/2010/03/how-t...aweb-super.html
  5. That should be the correct way to curb COE prices and reduce no. of cars on the road. Many rich mofos have more than 1 car and husband drive one, wife drive another, child drive another...... 3 cars occupy the road from just 1 family. So, there should be a surcharge for those who own more than 1 car. COE for 2nd car should be at least 500% higher and the same for road tax. 3rd car 1000% higher and so on. If they are rich and can afford 10-20 million for a car, by all means (very few of them so they don't contribute to congestion anyway). discourage people from owning multiple cars and clog the road. Allow gahment to earn more money also.
  6. Guys, I like to gather some feedback regarding the auto tilt side mirrors installed at Wish Werks? Do share with me, thanks.
  7. i seen some cars have those washing kit (car shampoo, polishing bottles) holders like a porch in the rear boot.... may I know where to get them? The porch holes the bottles in standing position thus they don move around when I turned... anybody knows and price wise?
  8. One of my friend was asking what's the cheapest 1st hand car in the market that can out-accelerate those pesky TC/SC taxis(Eg E200s, Skodas, Sonatas). I couldn't answer him............ What do you guys think????? Out of the cabs mentioned above, i think the sonatas are the most irritating lot, many drive like there's no tomorrow............ Mabe it's due to their sheer numbers on the road...........
  9. The Best 50 of Murphy's Law You can never tell which way the train went by looking at the track. Logic is a systematic method of coming to the wrong conclusion with confidence. Whenever a system becomes completely defined, some damn fool discovers something which either abolishes the system or expands it beyond recognition. Technology is dominated by those who manage what they do not understand. If builders built buildings the way programmers wrote programs, then the first woodpecker that came along would destroy civilization. The opulence of the front office decor varies inversely with the fundamental solvency of the firm. The attention span of a computer is only as long as it electrical cord. An expert is one who knows more and more about less and less until he knows absolutely everything about nothing. Tell a man there are 300 billion stars in the universe and he'll believe you. Tell him a bench has wet paint on it and he'll have to touch to be sure. All great discoveries are made by mistake. Always draw your curves, then plot your reading. Nothing ever gets built on schedule or within budget. All's well that ends. A meeting is an event at which the minutes are kept and the hours are lost. The first myth of management is that it exists. A failure will not appear till a unit has passed final inspection. New systems generate new problems. To err is human, but to really foul things up requires a computer. We don't know one millionth of one percent about anything. Any given program, when running, is obsolete. Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic. A computer makes as many mistakes in two seconds as 20 men working 20 years make. The faster a computer is, the faster it will reach a crashed state. Nothing motivates a man more than to see his boss putting in an honest day's work. Some people manage by the book, even though they don't know who wrote the book or even what book. The primary function of the design engineer is to make things difficult for the fabricator and impossible for the serviceman. To spot the expert, pick the one who predicts the job will take the longest and cost the most. After all is said and done, a hell of a lot more is said than done. Any circuit design must contain at least one part which is obsolete, two parts which are unobtainable and three parts which are still under development. A complex system that works is invariably found to have evolved from a simple system that works. If mathematically you end up with the incorrect answer, try multiplying by the page number. Computers are unreliable, but humans are even more unreliable. Any system which depends on human reliability is unreliable. Give all orders verbally. Never write anything down that might go into a "Pearl Harbor File." Under the most rigorously controlled conditions of pressure, temperature, volume, humidity, and other variables the organism will do as it damn well pleases. If you can't understand it, it is intuitively obvious. The more cordial the buyer's secretary, the greater the odds that the competition already has the order. In designing any type of construction, no overall dimension can be totaled correctly after 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The correct total will become self-evident at 8:15 a.m. on Monday. Fill what's empty. Empty what's full. And scratch where it itches. All things are possible except skiing through a revolving door. The only perfect science is hind-sight. Work smarder and not harder and be careful of yor speling. If it's not in the computer, it doesn't exist. If an experiment works, something has gone wrong. When all else fails, read the instructions. If there is a possibility of several things going wrong the one that will cause the most damage will be the one to go wrong. Everything that goes up must come down. Any instrument when dropped will roll into the least accessible corner. Any simple theory will be worded in the most complicated way. Build a system that even a fool can use and only a fool will want to use it. The degree of technical competence is inversely proportional to the level of management. Any attempt to print Murphy's laws will jam the printer.
  10. The TPC system facilitates tire replacement for GM customers on GM vehicles, meeting the same critical performance specifications of GM vehicle original equipment tires. Tire Size and Construction Tire Type: Identifies vehicle type. P denotes passenger vehicle*; LT denotes Light Truck. Tire Width: Measured in millimetres. E.g. 215 Aspect Ratio: The ratio of the height of the tire's cross-section to its width. E.g. 65 Construction: R denotes radial, whereas B indicates a bias construction. Wheel Diameter: The greatest distance across the wheel from tread to tread, measured in inches. E.g. 15 * May also include pickup trucks and SUVs. Load Index and Load Capacity Load Index: The maximum load in pounds (lb.) that the tire can support when properly inflated based on the Load Index Chart. E.g. 89 Load Index Pounds Kilograms 75 853 387 76 882 400 77 908 412 78 937 425 79 963 437 80 992 450 81 1019 462 82 1047 475 83 1074 487 84 1102 500 85 1135 515 86 1168 530 87 1201 545 88 1235 560 89 1279 580 90 1323 600 91 1356 615 92 1389 630 93 1433 650 94 1477 670 95 1521 690 96 1565 710 97 1609 730 98 1653 750 99 1709 775 100 1764 800 101 1819 825 102 1874 850 103 1929 875 104 1984 900 105 2039 925 Load Capacity: The maximum load in actual pounds (lb.) and kilograms (kg) that the tire can support. E.g. 1300 lbs. or 580 kg Speed Rating Speed Rating: Indicates the maximum service speed for the tire based in the speed-rating chart. E.g. " H " indicates a maximum tolerable speed of 210 km/h (130 mph). Rating Symbol Maximum Speed (km/h) Q 160 S 180 T 190 U 200 H 210 V 240 * ZR W 270 Y 300 Over 300 Uniform Tire Quality Grade (UTQG) Labelling UTQG stands for Uniform Tire Quality Grading. Developed by the US Department of Transportation (DOT), all tires sold in Canada feature this identification number moulded into the sidewall of the tire. Treadwear Treadwear Grade: A comparative rating (E.g. 220) based on the wear rate of the tire when tested under controlled conditions by the manufacturer on a specified government test track. E.g. a tire with a 200 treadwear rating would wear twice as long as a tire with a 100 rating. More than 100: Better 100: Baseline Less than 100: Poorer Tread wear grades are only valid when comparing tires from the same manufacturer! Traction and Temperature Traction Grades: : Identify the tire's ability to stop on wet pavement measured under controlled conditions by the manufacturer on specified government test surfaces of asphalt and concrete. The test is based upon "straight ahead" braking tests. E.g. Traction A AA: Very Best A: Best B: Intermediate C: Acceptable Temperature Grades: Denote the tire's resistance to the generation of heat when tested under controlled conditions by the manufacturer on a specified indoor laboratory test wheel. Excessive temperatures can lead to tire failure. E.g. Temperature A A: Best B: Intermediate C: Acceptable Tire Identification Number All tires sold in Canada feature a Tire Identification Number, which provides retailers with information about when and where the tire was produced. Example: B3 : Indicates the manufacturer and plant code CD : Tire size code E52X : Optional 2602 : Week and year of manufacture (in this example the 26th week of 2002) The maple leaf symbol indicates this is a Canadian made tire and certifies that it meets all of Transport Canada's requirements. All Season and Winter Tire Markings M+S (Mud + Snow): Indicates this is an all-season tire. Every all-season tire must carry this symbol. For more on all-season tires, click here . Four Seasons Ico Indicates this is an all-season tire. Sometimes used in conjunction with or instead of the M+S symbol. For more on all-season tires, click here . Winter Symbol: Indicates that this tire has been specifically designed for severe winter conditions. For more on winter tires, click here . When you buy new tires, fill in and return your tire registration form. In the event of a recall, the manufacturer will contact you. In many cases, you can register online.

  14. ERRANT cyclists in Tampines, take note. Come March 1, the town council will take reckless cyclists to task. Under newly enacted by-laws, those who speed, jump red lights and fail to give way to pedestrians can be fined up to a maximum of $1,000, or taken to court. "We want to make cycling one of the modes of moving around in Tampines... We don't want the minority (of errant cyclists) to spoil it for the majority, and we want to assure pedestrians that there is action being taken," said Mr Mah Bow Tan, Member of Parliament for Tampines GRC and Minister for National Development. The legal efforts, to be implemented with improved education and infrastructure, are meant to make Tampines Town a model cycling estate for others to follow. Another 6.9km of bicycle paths will be constructed in the first half of next year, at a cost of $4.7 million.

  18. SINGAPORE: National Development Minister Mah Bow Tan announced Thursday that 7,000 HDB flats will come on to the market over the next three months. Two thousand of them will be available from Thursday through a balloting system. These flats are those unsold in previous Build-to-Order (BTO) exercises and Selective En bloc Redevelopment Scheme (SERS), as well as repossessed flats. The other 5,000 will be available through the BTO system in the last quarter of this year. He said the flats will be available islandwide in estates such as Queenswtown, Punngol, Bukit Panjang and Jurong West. Mr Mah added that these flats range from studio flats to executive apartments. He said supply is adequate to suit all needs, and urged flat buyers to buy within their means and not over commit. Mr Mah said the release of these additional flats is in response to high demand in the market currently. He added that the government will continue to monitor the market and make adjustments as necessary. Mr Mah was speaking to reporters after delivering a speech at the Global Social Innovators Forum. - CNA/yb

Some said Johor will be a "dead" town during this time. b) Today, all schools stopped class already, so add on to the traffic. c) Malaysian Police force claimed that they will no be erecting road blocks during this festival to ease congestion on NSH. d) No heavy vehicles or trucks are allowed on NSH during this festival. Have a safe trip to all . Regards,

I only realised when I the lights were green and I was driving off. She did turn it on again after a while, high beam again.....
