  1. just wanna understand asian mentality.... i myself have work in a bank for a few yrs and am currently working in a bank's Middle office. Been to london for a short stint and have work closely with English quite often. One thing i noticed in today's youngster is that they seems to care a lot in whether they are from Back Office, middle office or front office. Just have a conversation with one of the young grads and what he told me totally shock me!! He told me that working in back office is useless and he actually think that my job is better and more prestigious coz i am in middle office... and he told me his degree don't have first class honors or second class or else he would have gone to front office and earn big bucks... or he can join those mgmt trainee programs and join to another bank for a quick promotion coz banks love "mgmt trainees"... dunnoe where he get these mindset from but this is not the first time i hear these young grads saying these... especially a lot of them wanna go front office and be a trader coz they can earn big bucks, drive sports car and lead a yuppies' life... i myself have a chance to be a trader but i gave it up as i don't wanna miss out see-ing my little princess grow up. Moreover, a trader is just another employee of the bank. We are just working our life away to draw a paycheck.... Those london traders whom i know earning real big bucks are all very friendly and instead, our local traders are very cocky.... whats wrong with youngster nowadays? keep thinking that being a trader will be earning big bucks??? Really feels that the younger generation is going down the drain.. what do u guys think??? especially those in banking sectors..

Is it ok if i just leave the situation as it is, will it further damage anything?
  7. Do not turn into Kitchener Road after the Scissor Cut rice. Proceed to Desker Road and drive into Syed Alwi Road from Lembu Road. Verdun Road now convert to one way street coming out from Syed Alwi Road so cannot turn in from Kitchener Road anymore.

  10. I know this is nothing new but recently, the situation is getting out of hand. Mainly in JB, theft, robbery and other life-threatening activities are getting more nowadays. My dad told me, now there's a gang roaming from JB to kulai, armed with guns and rob. They dashed into houses and robbed and hijacked vehicles too. there's robbery everyday in JB now. so i hope you guys will be extremely cautious while stopping by anywhere. Take good care

  12. Hi guys, at end 2007, i DIY flushed and filled my radiator with those "pure distilled water" from NTUC brand which cost like $0.80 per 1.5L bottle.. it's not very expensive as i have used like around 10 bottles for the flushing process, however i feel bad about having to discard so many empty plastic bottles at 1 go. Can advise where can i buy those 1 big 25 litres type of pure distilled water from?
  13. how to remove them huh?? they are like into the paint already.... can anyone help me?

  16. Do not leave your vehicle unattended. Went airport to see a friend goodbye and i went in for less than a min. After i came out, 2 cisco officers warned me not to leave it unattended as airport has high security. Btw, its at terminal 2. They dont seem to have that strict security at T2 arrival hall though. Few mths ago, I still could go to toilet and come out. I wonder what if someone is really urgent then how? Pee infront of the guy?
  17. Let's be inspired by this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gqantZJ6WwM...are-struggling/
  18. ...thanks and good karma to you, for flashing lights to cars opposite side of road to warn them about TP on bridge this morning. i slowed down and the TP I saw is the hiding sort, out to fine people... different from those TP who i know is just doing their job but they very good heart, stand openly in hot sun to warn drivers to slow down by their presence. actually, i find that drivers in msia more often flash lights to warn of tp than in sg. but my personal experience, cannot quantify.
  19. Please be more attentive when you use a handphone. I almost had a side swipe with a taxi entering CTE from braddell towards city because he was using a handphone and drifting into my lane. Gave him a loud blast of my horn to warn him. Using your handphone takes away concentration on the road, yes it does, no matter how skilled you are. My friend, when he does sms while driving, his car speed goes lower and he drifts here and there which I really really dislike. So please, stop at the side to use the handphone or dont use at all thank you.
  20. those ganador side mirrors.... anyone got them? care to give any feedbacks

  23. All bros, Please take note that when you go in, fasten your belts at all time. I have seen road blocks on both trips i went in this week and by the time you see them, you have no time to fasten your belt.
  24. I just bought a helmet for my gf as I plan to bring her to the PG track soon. Basically, one just needs a helmet to comply with track regulations, so I believe most will look at cost only. Along Jln Wong Ah Fook (beside City Square) there is a motorcycle accessory shop (further down from city square) where I bought a helmet for RM30. Complies to Malaysian PSB (ok it's not PSB but their equivalent) standards, if it matters... Compared to the helmet i bought in SG, $18 which i thought was pretty cheap already However, I must say that the bought-in-malaysia helmet has less durable lining.. but just a heads up for those interested.
