Is good tire is more importance, than better brake pad ? (good brake pad mean more $$ n dirty rim ) i thinking of get back stock pad (cheaper), and look for better tire. can tis still get good braking ??

Humbly i seek advise, if i want to change tire and do wheel alignment, should i change first then do, or do the alignment then change tires ? Is there any sequence I should follow, or doesnt matter. Prease explain why ? thanks.

My tire is in need of a change. Using GR80 previously. Did some searching in the forum and found that recommending RE001, V8 n F1. My tire spec is 195/60/R15 so which tire should I go for? What is the good shop to go look for this tires?

I just found a nail in one of my tires and I need to get it repaired but my usual tire shop is closed on Sundays. Does anyone have any recommendations? I stay near central but I don't mind going East and towards hougang (headed there later anyway)

Any to recommend? seems to be tough to find the above sizing cos i prefer the width of the 205 compared to 195.. so far found Kumho SPT and Falken ST115 TIA

Can pros help me out here. My 4 tyres recommanded pressure on the sliver slip of paper sticked on the drivers door states 220psi But i usually have this physcology that air may evaporate after a while so i pump 240 for all 4 tyres all long . Same habit past 1 year and nothing has happened so far. But jus feel uneasy so could anyone recommend me what to do?? Thanks!

Hi, have been using my GR80 for 50K now. Rotated front to rear every 10K. Wear rate is even between inner and outer of the tire. But the previous front tire which was rotated to the rear looks bald on the surface. But there's 0.6cm thread more before hitting the threadwear indicator in the inner tire as well as the sidewall triangle threadwear marker. Tires grip well in wet and dry. Just a little noiser than before. Its 1yr 8month old now. Should I change based on the thread wear marker or just by eyeballing the surface? Thanks!

Hi, I am thinking of replacing my tires and doing the balancing and alignment. Any good recommendation at most reasonable price? I was in JB and this guy quoted RM$730 for 4 tires. 15 inch Dunlop if I am not wrong. This work out to be around $77 each.

Guys, Appreciate if anyone can shed some advice here. I did tried to do a search, can't seem to find anything related to the problem I encountered. My ride is a OPC and hence during the daytime it is parked in the MSCP. Recently, withthin a short span of 2 months, my tire cap kenna stolen 2 times (1st time was 2 caps, 2nd time was 1 caps). Even though I had already brought some spare caps, I find it kinda of irritating to see each time my tire caps went missing. Other than shifting to another lot/level, is there any better ways to prevent it? Stalking at the MSCP to catch the culprit would be impossible for me. **Btw, I dun think I have offended anyone in the MSCP. Thanks

Hi guys, Know this was talked to death but I need to change my tires ASAP. Discovered a 1.5" long crack along the sidewall of one of my rear tires. Look at pix attached. Went to autob*cc and was quoted $198/pc for the GR80 and $235/pc for PP2. This is on the assumption of changing the entire set. Both are MIJ. Of course the mentioned lifetime nitrogen, tire rotation, tire patching an ddon't know what else. Think the price is alright ? The autob*cc is in Jln Jurong Kechil, quite near to my place in Jurong.

Hi, need help from the Gurus here. Thinking of upsize my rims but have to make sure if can find the correct size tires before I change the rims if not........ I am using currently: Front 175/55-R15, Rear 195/50-R15 Looking to upsize to: Front 16inch rims using 175/45-R16 or 165/50-R16 tires Rear 17inch rims using 195/35-R17 tires or 16inch rims using 195/45-R16 Where can I find the above size tires?
