hi all, i got a stone chip on my bonnet so i try to touch up with touchup paint. but the end result looks bad. the spot now is uneven due to the brush strokes. what is the cheapest way to amend this? besides a full respray which will cost $120 or so. any partial respray? how will it look? ok? and the rear fender. the part just next to the rear passenger door also has some paint popping out? any suggestions?

Can some mazda bros help me on the touch up paint code ? recently I went to autobacs and look at the touch up pen~ but I dunno which is the paint code for mazda winning blue my car is not Mazda, so I can't tell from the sticker on the car bonnet

Hi bros, I got some scratches on my front bumper and I had applied some touch up paint I got from my dealer. So far it looks OK, but if looked upon an angle where the light will reflect, then the portion where the touch up paint has been applied would become quite outstanding because it doesn't shine. My question is how to make that portion glossy again? Should I be applying some clear coat or sealant or wax or something on top of the touch up paint? Your advice is much appreciated. Thanks.

Does any1 knows where to top up in MY?(quoted in TAG website is toll plaza + ATM{need pay RM0.50} + 7-11{dont know need to pay or not} + macdonacld{dont know need to pay or not} + selected petronas petrol station{dont know need to pay or not}) I know toll plaza can top up, but I not going far up, so dont wanna waste $$ to go there top up. I use it at JB(woodland custom) to save time, I even ask the counter at the custom if I can reload at the counter, but sad thing, they cant...

Got some slight scrathes on rear bumper and the paint has peel off. Going for 5K soon. Do they do paint touch up at both service centre? Can we buy some paint so can do it ourselves sometime in the future? Mine is orange. Any advice is appreciated.

Got a few scratches on my beloved Aveo and wanted to heal the car and my heart at the same time. Went to Autobacs today to look for touch-up paint, but can only find touch up paint for Japanese cars there? Anyone have any idea where I can get black touch-up paint for Aveo? or anyone have any idea which type to get that is of a near match to our car colour. Any thanks for any information provided. The left side-skirt on my 9-3SS is scratched (abt 30cm)and the paint has come off after an encounter with a kerb. Could anyone advise of a place to re-spray my side-skirt? Should i send it back to trans eurokars or send to an alternative panel beater? Price should be reasonable and affordable. Thank you.

Good advice from volvotuning.com: It is time to tell Volvo owners about an unwritten rule; don't touch that wire if you don't know where it goes. The problems that one can start by not knowing what they are touching can have results that can cost you in money and time. The newest cars that are out have a network of systems that can be directly affected by one another. If you are not sure the wires you are tapping into could be at risk, then don't touch them. If you are still sure you want to go ahead, then request from your dealer if they could supply you with a proper wiring diagram. The introduction of airbags years ago has made many cars safer than ever. With that are quite a few wires in the main airbag harness called twisted pairs. These wires are very important and should not be tampered with. Also, the seatbelts in all of the newest Volvos have a pyrotechnic charge that detonates during an accident. These wires should never be spliced into for 2 reasons. Not only will a SRS fault code be set, but also they could possibly detonate unintentionally. The rear seatbelts in all of the newer cars also have this feature, so this applies to ALL the seat belts. The most famous of problems encountered come from the installation of upgraded audio systems. With any new aftermarket audio components introduced into the car, you should be very careful when you splice into any existing wire harnesses. The use of sheet metal screws that are too long have also been seen by many of us and can do major damage if they hit the wrong part of a wire harness. This can lead to many hours of fault tracing of the electrical system, which could be avoided in the first place.
