  4. On the surface, it looks like ice cream on a pastry bread. Very nice meh? Well, you have to take a bite of it yourself to understand. The taste really sexplodes in your mouth. The dish is called Little Fuji and is from St. Marc at Vivo City. For transparency I have no commercial dealing or interest with this shop. I just SIC because the dish is very tasty. In fact it is so nice I ate it twice in 3 days.
  5. interesting sport ........ [rolleyes]
  6. ...towards the road divider and the result is a collision. Here's how it goes, at a right bend, this CityCab moved to the left lane and as I was overtaking, it suddenly cut back into my lane as I was already halfway beside his car. I blasted my horn and braked hard to avoid a collision but couldn't prevent it. Initially, he accused me of rear-ending his vehicle, say it was his lane, but of course, as the video shows, I was in the same lane all these while, and it was him who changed lane without checking his blind spot or signalling. He was ferrying an air stewardess on the way to airport and I asked her for her opinion. She said she turned her head and saw that my car was already to the right of the taxi when I sounded my horn. Initially he didn't budge and kept saying it was my fault, but I told him I have a video proof, he immediately suggested that we settle this case privately and not file for claims. I urged him to finish his job of sending the passenger to her destination after we exchanged name and contact numbers. In the end I was late for my Home Team Real Run by 10 minutes. Later that day I went to my insurer to file for third party claim as he could not agree to the workshop's quotation in our phone conversation.
  7. anyone tried this http://www.evanscoolants.sg/index.html waterless coolant?
  8. Hmmmmmmm ........ wonder how it look like and taste .... It's always good to try new cuisines while out traveling the world, but we would advise against ordering "cow something" off any menu no matter how adventurous you're feeling. Stick with the smoked cow feet instead -- at least you know what body part you're getting!

  11. Just wondering... has anyone ever sold off or trade in their car and then down the road tries to buy back? Or at least buy back the car plate number? Thinking of looking for the car that I sold off earlier... not so much for the car, but for the car plate number due to sentimental reasons. Just thinking how to locate the current driver.
  12. From STOMP: http://singaporeseen.stomp.com.sg/stomp/sg...persons_ic.html Posted on 15 Jun 2012 Nanyang JC girl tried to use older person's IC to get into club She wanted to go clubbing but was below the age limit of 18 years so she used another person's identity card (IC) to try to get into St James Power Station in March. A security officer at the entrance of the Powerhouse dance club asked for identification and noticed that the picture on it was not of her. Liu Yifan, 17, admitted borrowing it from a friend and on Thursday the student of Nanyang Junior College pleaded guilty to using someone else's identity card without lawful authority. Because of her age, District Judge Soh Tze Bian called for a report to gauge her suitability for probation. Court documents state that Liu confided in schoolmate Hong Lili, 19, in early March that she wanted to go clubbing. Hong then got the identity card of Tong Wern Ching, 18, who was enrolled in Temasek Polytechnic. On March 23, Liu went to St James Power Station at about 11pm with her boyfriend Eng Ting Fong, 20, a full-time national serviceman. About two hours later, they tried to get into the Powerhouse and she was found out. Security officer Muhammad Iimi Hussain, 24, found Liu's ez-link card on Eng. She had told him to keep it in case her belongings were checked. The cases against Eng, Hong and Tong for abetting in the offence have not heard yet. Liu will be back in court on July 12 for sentencing. Visit the Courtroom for the latest court stories.

  14. Smelly tofu.... It smell bad but still ok for me, so I ordered some and told myself to try it at least once in my life. When the dish came, I took a big piece and try to put it into my mouth ...... OMG, at this point I dropped it on the floor, because my mouth auto reflect just rejected it completely!! Same for some smelly cheese..... Another day, I was enjoying a juicy roast duck, then for whatever reason/impulse, took a bite at the it's backside..... Wah piang!!.... I spilled the whole piece out.....
  15. Anyone tried this? Someone selling it for $32 here. I did some research and there were complaints against it as well. But I guess that it is not a miracle product that can fix all scratches, but those fine ones should be ok.
  16. Basically this is a long term investment strategy. You set aside every month a fixed amount (in units of hundred dollars) to invest in Blue Chip loose lots. Any brudders here tried this? Any catch?

  24. undestand that Quaker state & Penzoil are a brands under Shell. I tried to google for more info on this oil but the result of my search is rather limited. I cant even find the official spec of the oil. There were some comment where the quality is similiar to SHU in some forum.
