  1. It is common knowledge that visits to private hospitals will cost more than those made at public hospitals, unless you register as private patients at the latter then maybe the rates will be on par. So do make an informed decision before heading down to the respective hospital according to what you can afford. 一分钱一分货。 From ST Forum: http://www.straitstimes.com/STForum/Story/...ory_814982.html PRIVATE V PUBLIC HOSPITALS Bill comparisons may not reflect true cost differences Published on Jun 26, 2012 I CONCEDE that costs in private hospitals are higher than those in public hospitals for private patients ('Private versus public hospitals: More than twice as costly'; last Friday). However, there were a few omissions in the report:
  2. The same saying for lady, There are no ugly women, just lazy women. Does it apply to men? Can a men become Rico Suave if he put in afford on the dressings and personnal grooming? Like a nice watch, shirts, pants, and elegant leather shoes? And perhaps hairdo and apply some cosmetics? Will such ugly/normal guys, transform to become a handsome and desirable guy? Many ladies put on make ups and turned into princess and sex goddess looks. Many guys will lust to be in bed with these pretty ladies. Will the reverse be true for well groomed guys? Will the lady lust for such men? How come there are no TV shows for male, where they teach how to wear shirts and pants to cover the fat tummy or fat thighs. Or how to groom the eyebrow, hair, lotions to make the skin glows. Or what kind of bags, wallets, watches that will make the man stand out from the crowd. Comments? P.S or do the easy way....just buy a expensive car and the babes will come no matter how ugly/old the guy is?

  6. ...for me at least. One of the fellas at the place I go to for treatment, last week, 1st Mar 2012, dreamt he died. SMSed the nurse to check, and told him (he still has evidence). Anyway, who else here got such 'inception' encounters... and no, i wun give 4 numbers
  7. Anyone received a call from this company "A&C Company" claiming that you have been selected as their lucky 30 to claim their 3 free prizes which includes a diamond necklaces, free phone & $500 dollar worth of shopping vouchers? No sales talk, no obligation as mentioned by the person that called me. When i asked them how they gotten my number they said i was selected because i did a survey on credit cards previously which i recalled i did do the survey with a phone surveyor. The location is at (S) 238467. Sounds too good to be true? [laugh] Since i'm pretty free this weekend, i shall drop by and take a look.

According to HSBC Expat Explorer Survey 2010, 45% of expats earned more than $265, 000 (US$200, 000) in Singapore. According to the survey report, Singapore is ranked 1st by the proportion of expats who make more $200k USD a year. Bermuda is 2nd with 40% of its expats in the same income bracket. Hong Kong is 3rd with 36%, and Saudi Arabia a close 4th with 35%. Anecdotely, most of the expats we hear of in forums seem poor when compare to these figures.

Height: 1.65m Weight: 70kg I am not rich and do not drive a porsche but I am a hardworking man and work everyday from Monday to Sunday. I don't think I am handsome but beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. As they say, NPNT, so I posted a picture of myself below. I will truly love you and be faitfhful to you. My redeeming factor is that I am willing to lick and make you happy. Please pm me if you are interested in becoming my one and only love.
  11. Before buying the car - lots of excitement after getting hold of the car - still excited after 1-2 years later of driving the car - the luxury within is taken for granted 2-3years later of driving the car - most of the initial excitement lost - after a while, the owner driving the car appear to have "lost" the feeling the car is luxury to begin with, it becomes a means to get from point A to point B do you agree or disagree? Luxury cars include: Audi A8 Mercedes S series Lexus LS series BMW 7 series Posche Maserati Bentley and Roll Royces owners dont bother to post any comments because most of the time you are driven and not driving

Sabbie Sir can please help confirm this is true or not thank you Sir Subject: When Robber Force you take money from ATM When a robber forces you to take money from the ATM, do not argue or resist. You might not know what he or she might do to you. What you should do is to punch your PIN in the reverse mode. I.e. if your PIN # is 1254, you punch 4521. The moment you punch in the reverse mode, the money will come out, but will be stuck into the machine half way out and it will alert the Police (security) without the notice of the robber. Every ATM has it; it is specially made to signify danger and help. Not everyone is aware
  16. I can think of the late Steve McQueen, Paul Newman, Jeffrey Lin (taiwan), Aaron Kwok. Any others? Is Nicky Wu also another racer?
  17. With reference to this post: http://www.mycarforum.com/index.php?showto...t&p=2929878 Is it true that IUs without the E|R|P label on the bracket are illegal? Anyone went for inspection without the label and passed inspection or is it a ploy by shops to fleece us? Let's discuss.
  18. Are we still regarded as a garden city? Why is it we have become like that? Is it because of foreigners or we ourselves have let it happen or have contributed to this sad state? One only has to take a good look at the areas around our HDB blocks early in the morning of all the rubbish being thrown around before the hardworking workers sweep it all away. Something to reflect upon... From ST Forum: http://www.straitstimes.com/STForum/Story/...ory_684678.html Cleanliness on the decline I AM a Canadian who visited Singapore in 1995 for two weeks. It was the cleanest city I had ever been to. I came back a year later, and again was impressed by how immaculate the country was. I returned on June 2 this year to enjoy Singapore's famous food and the Great Singapore Sale, but was very disappointed. The cleanliness of the city is gone. I spent days walking and taking public transport to various parts of the city, and noticed an appalling amount of paper and plastic rubbish in the parks and on the streets. I asked those I met why there was a litter problem, and one common comment was that it was due to the people's attitude. Another common response was: 'It's the immigrants.' A garbage worker said the problem had become worse in the last five years. A young woman said: 'Singapore has a lot of problems. We have to worry about our money and how to make a living; the litter is not our problem.' I soon witnessed acts of littering and it infuriated me. A woman with her teenage son and daughter tossed a green plastic drink bag over a railing onto the grass. I yelled at her from down the street, but she just laughed. I saw a construction worker walking past a rubbish bin and placing a can on a wall a farther 10m away, before continuing on his way. It really upsets me to see the once-pristine Singapore turning into just another grubby, trash-laden metropolis. This litter problem is a blight on Singapore's reputation, and I hope Singaporeans will address this disrespect for their country. One way is for people to take all rubbish with them after leaving public places and place it in a trash bin, and not on the ground, a wall, a bench or in the park. Community groups can get together to clean up the streets in their neighbourhoods. The city can promote cleanliness through mass media campaigns. Keeping Singapore clean is the responsibility of everyone - citizens, immigrants and tourists. James Cruikshank

  22. New non-NS Men PR who join RC for 12 superficial meetings can get priority for new HDB purchase. Is it that as long as their MP sign the recommendation letter; these new non-NS Men PR can jump the HDB queue ? Now these new non-NS Men PR can already register their eldest child with priority at pri sch of their choice; even before child of our NS Men. ________________________________________________________________________________ _________________________ I read this from the internet, just want to know true or not? So all those measures that govt implement not long ago to differentiate PR benefits with citizens, got a big lobang loophole? No wonder I see PRs join RCs
