Exceeding >61km/h = >$200 + 24 demerit points + Court. If you want to be hero and fight the court case yourself, and you lose, you pay the court charges yourself, which will add up to your fine. So now, you will have 3 demerit points and this will last for 1 Year. If during this 1 year you have no demerit points offence at all, your 3 demerit points will be gone on 1/1/2006. But, if during this one year, From 1/1/2005 - 1/1/2006, you committed another offence with demerit points, your very first offence will be extended for another year until 1/1/2007.

  6. Hi to All, Sent car for servicing today and discover that the reasons for my coolant level dropping every month or so is due a leak detected at the water pump area. First sign was sometime back in Nov02, where my coolant warning light appear. Check the car and found that the coolant level was on the low mark and it trigger the warning light. Top up the coolant and everything goes well for time being. Driven the car for 1year 4 month since. Drove to KL and had a fuel pump failure there and back and only noticed coolant level drop around Mar03. Try to look for leak but not able to find. Monitoring the system for sometime and noticed that it could last for about 2 months from full to low level. Then have to top up the coolant. Knowing that the cooling system is conceal type and there should not be a level drop for at least a year or two, when level drop in month or weeks means there is a leak somewhere. For those who experience a level drop often, take note there is a leak somewhere. Anyway, the cost of repair is expensive. water pump $180 and labour by CZ about $200 before discount. Job will take a whole day estimate. Currently KIV the job bcos already spent $200 for the servicing done. FYI

    350Z update

Quoted from another website:- Nissan dealers have had a shock. Now they have to cope with waiting lists and Porsche trade-ins. The drastic change has been brought about by the 350Z. Already a smash hit in Japan and the US, its UK allocation of 840 units for this year sold out within hours. Research shows the Audi TT tops the list of intended trade-ins, followed by Subaru's Impreza. Will the owners of serious sports cars be disappointed when their new machines arrive in mid-October? We've sampled the Japanese-spec version before now, but European models have been substantially revised to suit UK roads and higher speeds, with more spoilers to improve cooling and airflow. The interior has been upgraded, too, and now gets an alloy finish to the steering wheel and switchgear, plus some better-grade plastics. It's enough to make an Impreza driver jealous, but the TT remains superior for looks and feel. Still, all the controls fall readily to hand and the seats move electrically, although it's a surprise to find that the wheel adjusts only for height. However, start up the engine and you will soon forget such quibbles, thanks to a satisfying beefy-sounding exhaust burble. The gearbox has a positive shift, too, and slots between the six ratios with a pleasingly mechanical feel.
  10. will it come here to sg?
