Assuming the car is in 100% stock condition, i'd like some advice on the dos & don't from fellow tiong chia hia dis. 19" M sports Rims (What is the best tyre profile?) Shock Absorbers/Suspensions LCI Headlights ( The squarish headlights instead of the stock round ones.) Keyless Entry + Electronic Push Button (Not sure whether it comes with it?) M Sports Steering Wheel Chip tuning (Increase Torque/Bhp. Understand from some friends need to change Air Intake or something like that.) Quad Exhaust (LTA Friendly?) Interior change to Maroon (Any Idea where can find for this 10 Year Old Bimmer) Brembo Brake Kit (No idea what is 4 pot or 6 pot and which is sufficient) Key FOB (Any idea if can use the latest gen G Series Keys to Sync on an F10 Key?) Upgrade on display I'm also intending to do my own servicing + changing of filters. Need some advice on the type of EO and Filters for better performance.

Hi, I am in my early 40s and I am considered debt free as my current HDB has been paid off and there is no outstanding loan (eg car) to service. Recently I have thoughts about upgrading to a condo to provide a better living environment for my family and young kids. My current house is abit small so the extra space and the facilities would definitely enhance the living experience. However, I am still reserved as that would imply that I would need to restart the loan again till I retire as it would also mean that all my incoming CPF and a proportion of cash would be used to service the mortgage, which would reduce growing my retirement fund. Just not sure if I should maintain my current worry-less lifestyle or to have a better living environment at the expense of having debts again. Opinions?

Hi guys, Recently I replaced the front speakers to aftermarket and added an sub to the original Mazda Bose System. The result was sure better off than the original bose system. Now I am considering adding on an amp to power the new front speaker but was told by the workshop that as the built in was a bose amp, it requires an amp with built in processor which is rather costly. If using normal 4 channel amp to power the fronts, the result coulbe be worst than current stage. Anyone who have converted their Mazda Bose System could share your valuable experience and set up here?

Want to get a better louder set of horns to replace the single pathetic stock one. Do I need to use the relay or do I just swap in the new ones?

My COE car dun have aux input, which is a no no in the modern times as I cannot play music from gadgets such as phones and ipods, etc. Hence completed a simple upgrade to improve the flexibility of the existing sound system and make full use of the speakers and tweeters which are pretty decent and good enough for me. I share my humble and cheapo DIY project with fellow bros. Appreciate suggestions if can improve the "setup", make it neater or more presentable. Hahahaha

Just scrap my old car. Salvaged my ICE. Pioneer P99 Sinfoni 3 way Audison 6 channel amp Audison capacitor My new ride is the 1.3 Jazz with build in HU. How ah? How to intergrate my old ICE? Don’t want to swap out the stock HU as it has car info and controls inside. Guess my P99 can’t be used. How to use the speakers and Amp? Can I use the mid in the front door, base in the rear door and tweeters replace the stock? Any shops to recommend?

Hi bros, My current stock set up comprises a locally fitted WinCE headunit and stock component speakers at all 4 doors - the sound quality is really sub-par and I'm looking to upgrade. With a budget of around $1k, would you guys advise to change to a better HU like Z7250BT/Halo9, etc. (my car doesn't have the usual DIN slots) or change the front set of speakers and add an under-seat sub-woofer? I just transfer my Ice to my new car. The installer mention that my Dego speakers going to up lorry soon. Any recommendation of speakers ? Should I go 3 way active ? Currently is 2 way active with 8850 HU. Steg 4 channel and Rockford 2 ch amp . Using Alpine sound processor and with varadium rainbow sub.soundproof both front and back door . Rear door with coxial speakers Thinking of either upgrade to 3 way and change sub to active sub or just change a better 2 way component speakers. Any recommendation ? If change to 3 way , budget for speakers and active sub about 1k Or change 2 way comp speaker budget at $500

Bros, Need some advice from you guys, I am staying in the West and previously I was looking at Sea Horizon EC but at that time I haven't fullfilled my MOP and also the EC is in the east far from my work place too. Today there is a new EC launching soon in Jurong and I registered online. The person super helpful, call me and ask me for more information. I realised with my OT I exceeded the income ceiling. I was told that I need to appeal and subject to developer approval. I was disappointed because I have been waiting for this EC since I missed the previous one. Yesterday our PM Lee talked about Jurong Lakeside transformation, hope to make some money in future for this EC. This EC is call Lakelife EC - www.thelakelife.com.sg. Any bros here bought an EC but exceed income ceiling and appeal successfully? According to the BM SE, the FL 2015 Asian Camry is coming in about Jun this year. Although the design of the Asian camry still not so sporty like the US version but I think this new FL looks good!

I planning to upgrade my rim size to 19" ( frm 18 ) kana sot by the vossen cv3 chrome rim, getting the replica 1 as only replica avail in 19 and original 1 shld be kan pua expensive lol. Any recommended tyres for street driving with good wet grip? My prev car on 15/16" so popular tyres for me was toyo t1r etc, but fren told me big tyres mostly another level ( price also another level ) Was thinking to do "staggered" as car is RWD so behind put wider. heard mark X very prone to fishtail even when driving normal speed so hoping wider tyres can grip well.

Often sound isolation or acoustic treatment is being left out in the equation. There are 4 main things to consider in car audio. 1. Speakers. 2. Amplification. 3. Source.(head unit). 4. Currently need to change my singtel 3G mobile broadband to 4G because singtel is no longer offering 3G plan. Is it worthwhile to change the 3G dongle to 4G dongle to benefit the speed offers by 4G plan. I need for the laptop for use in the CBD area. I understand the download speed may vary from area to area. I use it for email, surfing and watching youtube. 4G dongle is not cheap slightly over $100. Is there a significant difference to the download speed for my usage to justify spending the money for a 4G dongle? Thank you for your input.

hi to MCF bros and sis! Should i change my current 5.5 years old 2.4NA l4 sonata to a twin charge jetta 1.4tsi sports? I need advice as i am confuse between the two as they are very close together in terms of spacious, comfort and maybe engine performance. Anyway my question is 1. is the 1.4tsi far more powerful than my 2.4na ? if i happen to go genting , which of both engine is a better choice to climb up the steep slopes? 2. I know the 1.4tsi is good for traffic lights and the 2.4 is good for highway cruising! but my driving pattern is in sg is 50% highway and 50% urban and i am confuse should i stay on my sonata or change my car to the jetta?
