Hi I'm new here and I found this forum just when I try to search several major parts for my Galant 8G I'll do the introduction in here since I'm in desperate states and I'll explain why First of All I'm from Indonesia, kinda near huh ? I'm Mitsubishi Galant 8G M/T user (6A13 2.5 SOHC V6-24) and bought it last 3 month ago (of course it's second hand car) and recently doing some several project for it 1st Problem Right now I'm doing engine swap of 6G72TT M/T 1st generation (from GTO not 3000GT) to my Galant 8G and so far not quite good. I can't find any reference for help but I found some1 already done 6G74 swap to Galant 8G so right now I'm using that as reference though I don't know if it can help 2nd Problem (THE BIGGEST PROBLEM) I'm looking for Speedometer of Mitsubishi Galant Avance 2.5 V6-24 SOHC (6A13) M/T Euro-Spec. It's basically same type and has same engine at my country. The only differences are ours have much much more crappier interior quality including speedometer and Euro-Spec Galant is Left-Handed. To make it short, is there any1 that sell Speedometer of Galant Avance 2.5 V6 Manual(read up to 260 Km/h) ? Last time i went to SG, I've tried my luck checking most of the car junkyard at Woodland Industrial Park but no result. Any suggestion ? Sample Picture of Speedometer Galant Avance 2.5 V6 Manual: Not to mention it has different gearbox since I'm using 6G72TT (the speedometer only compatible with 6A13 and 6A13TT). So there's a huge chance the speed sensor and other sensor won't work (only the light / optitron will work since it's universal). So Any1 sell the speedometer (just exactly like at the picture) and have any suggestion bout how to match it to 6G72TT ? 3rd Problem (SECOND MAJOR PROBLEM) I'm also looking for MMCS 2nd Edition Wide screen from Mitsubishi Galant VR-4 Facelift Sample picture of MMCS 2nd Edition Wide Screen : Any1 know where I can buy it, I'm planning to install it to my Galant 8G. And any reference how to install it to Galant 8G 2.5 6A13 ? I'm sorry if u guys have a hard time understanding it since I'm not very good in english.

Last time remember got the "Date joined" under the user name, how come it disappears? It's good to see a user's date of joining so as can see whether his/her post holds some weight(although not much, haha). I know can see the "Date joined" by clicking that user's profile page, but it is quite troublesome.. Can bring it back?

I hope this is the right place to post this question. I realized that there is a WARN: (0%) with 5 grey bars found underneath of my Avatar. This seems like a good feature to warn errant user, who violates the forum polices such as names calling. Would we be able to see the status of the warning level of other users too? In addition, how do we know whether a user has been suspended or warned and for what reason? Thank you. Regards,

Posted in the following blog on Monday, 7-July-2008 http://blog.limkitsiang.com/2008/07/07/nor...ghway-3rd-lanes Cross reference : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lebuhraya_utara-selatan North-south highway 3rd lanes I am a frequent user of our North-South Expressway and I have this IMPORTANT experience to highlight and share:- I was driving back to Penang yesterday afternoon ( 24 June 08 ) when I saw the unfortunate accident in the opposite direction involving the passenger bus that skidded and overturned at Tanjung Malim. I didn't know that the skidded bus was from hometown Penang until I watched TV3 news later in the evening and was shocked to learn that the accident took two lives. Now, this is what I need to share:- I am a building contractor with over twenty years of experience and I have been driving my 5 series BMW (latest generation and a dammed solid road-holding car) each time I travelled to KL. Lately, the new extended 3 lanes highway had been opened up for use and since then, I have also been using it quite often. HOWEVER, when I used it each time it is WET, I can really 'feel' that the new road surface is extremely SLIPPERY! To share with some of you, my car comes with a built-in traction control mechanism ( skidding prevention mechanism ) and you can feel it each time it is activated. Previously, I don't come across this kind of slippery feel except when I drive over a paddle of water at certain speed. From my observation as a building contractor, the 'wearing course' of the new road surface could be TOO FINE OR TOO SMOOTH and TOTALLY UNSUITABLE for highway use! The wearing course ( top premix layer ) mix design for highways should be of minimum 20mm coarse aggregate mix that will give us the required bond between the surface and our tyres. Fine wearing course ( 14mm coarse aggregate size and below ) is only suitable for normal road. ( A proper test need to be carried out to determine the mix design of the wearing course ). Since the opening of the three lanes highway, I had seen cars skidding in front me or in the opposite direction and approximately 2 weeks ago, one of my friends who is also a frequent user of our NSE, came to share with me about his slippery feeling as well as the many skidded cars he had seen lately. I am highlighting this to TV3 and The Star with the hope that a thorough investigation could be carried out immediately to find out how or what causes the bus to skid. A proper and independent test need to be carried out urgently to determine the design mix of the wearing course. THIS CAN SAVE LIVES. IF YOU ARE USING THE NEW LANES AND IF IT IS WET, MAKE SURE YOU DRIVE SLOWLY!!!! -

Need some reviews from bros here who have used/are using Falken's Ziex-326 tyres. I just changed my front tyres to the 326s as my previous pair was already showing bits of carcass on the insides(wheel-well side). Please comment on the tyre performance after initial scrubbing in, so that I have an idea on what to expect. My initial impressions on the tyre upon installation were that in comparison to my previous Simex (Malaysian made, very hard rubber compound, almost NIL wet-grip), the wet-grip of the 326s doesn't seem at all impressive. Still managed to easily do wheelspins on a slightly wet surface. Of course, this is before the tyres have been properly scrubbed in. On the highway in light rain at 100km/h, aquaplaning was almost non-existent even in bigger pools of water. Just a hint of planing when hitting those big pools that span almost 50 metres long. In the dry, grip seemed to be worse than the Simex tyres. Surprisingly, really, given the softer compound of the 326s. But I must note that the sidewall is not as stiff, and AGAIN, the tyres have yet to be bedded in. I must clarify, however, that I am in no way looking at the Falkens as a set of performance tyres. Far from it. All I want is a set of tyres that are relatively lasting, with reasonable wet-weather performance. Of course, with predictable handling characteristics so that I don't get caught off-guard. Road noise is of no issue to me. So, your valuable feedback will help me decide whether to keep these tyres & purchase a matching set for the rears, or to junk them & go for another set instead. Before anyone starts suggesting Firenza, Yoko Aspect DB etc, please note that my tyre size is not of a common one. It's 165/55/R14. Not many stores carry this size, not to mention even less major manufacturers produce this size. Thanks a million in advance!

Hi for those who have purchase the above, Step 1. After using the neutral cleaner..use a damp cloth to wipe off the dirts and stain. Nero cleaner for black leather..after applied..let it settle for 5 to 10 mins. Step 2.Apply conditioner/softener on the leather seat..a tin layer will do the job. Note> u only need to apply conditioner/softener when u feels the smoothess is not there and leather starts to get harden and each time after using the cleaner..I have tried..the softeness last for months .. cheers Benny

Hi there ..just wanna check if any bro out there is using ipod through usb connection and not aux in. need to know as how to adjust the volume ....current situation is that when use CD , CHANGER OR TUNER , the vol about 20 , but when use IPod, need to increase to 25 to get the same level...???is this normal ? thanks
