2. Happened at BKE exit to Woodlands Ave 3. Heavy truck clearly beat the lights, resulting in an accident with a taxi. Sent video to CDG. Don't know what the hell the truck driver is thinking.
3. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JewGJ42ZCvQ the video talked about how traffic jams occur & whether weaving in & out of lanes make your journey faster?
4. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LFNwdi2-BGg More recently, Mercedes-Benz has released a number of innovative advertisements, such as celebrating Christmas in the SLS and the use of a hen to demonstrate its clever 'Magic Body Control'. Now it seems that it has found another animal to star to showcase just one of the CLA's many capabilities.
5. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9zyf2W1aOWs Not too long ago, Porsche unveiled the car that will mark its return to the top flight of endurance racing - the 919 Hybrid. Surprisingly, the race car did not bear the iconic flat-six or a V8 engine - but rather a relatively smallish 2.0-litre V4. Recently, the 919 was caught testing - and how it sounded surprises all that were present. We bet you will too after watching the video above.
6. http://dai.ly/x1lk89q Land Rover has shed lights on its revolutionary design of its new Discovery SUV through a short video teaser. The marque has also said that the Discovery Vision Concept will hint at the design for its Discovery models. It will also showcase a pioneering technology from the Jaguar Land Rover group on the concept car, which will make its first public appearance at the upcoming New York Auto Show. Although information is scarce at the moment, we foresee a large amount of tech gizmos to be present, such as infotainment display with touchscreen capability, electric folding chairs, etc. And hopefully, we won't have to wait too long.
7. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gDOqIYqrldg A video uploaded by the Singapore Tourism Board to its YouTube channel last month was taken down on Monday, hours after it received flak online. The three-minute clip appears to be an advertisement to encourage people from the Philippines to visit the city-state. Titled "See where the world is heading", it features a romantic couple travelling to Singapore to celebrate their anniversary. They walk around Marina Bay Sands and Gardens By The Bay, and at the luxury hotel's rooftop skypark, the woman gives her man a very surprising present. The video, which was uploaded on 26 March, was taken down hours after news and lifestyle website Mothership.sg came out with a post Monday titled "This STB video is so bad it will go viral". The reactions on social media proved the site right. ---------- It is so cheesy, almost like opening shots to some cheapskate porn movie....
8. http://dai.ly/x1mqm3t In its latest advertising effort, Lexus is asking buyers to 'wake up from the hypnotism' and seriously consider before making their purchases. What it is trying to hint at is that people, in general, think that German cars are better. Unsurprisingly, rivals such as Mercedes-Benz, Audi and BMW are roped into the commercial as the 'main culprits'. http://dai.ly/x1mqm6f While most of us would think that the pendulums are work of computer graphics, Lexus has also shown us how the interesting ad is made, with a 'behind-the-scenes' footage. Now jump to the video to catch the craftsmen at work.

10. We have seen the new MINI Cooper on various media platforms. And now MINI has presented the Cooper S in a short film - to let viewers catch a glimpse of what the real deal is about. The new car's styling is more evolution than revolution, with the hatch taking on conventional proportions which makes it instantly recognisable as the motoring icon. Despite retaining the classic MINI design, the new car has grown - 98mm longer, 44mm wider and 7mm taller than its predecessor. The wheelbase has also been extended by 28mm - with wider tracks at the front and rear. These changes should give it the dynamic handling characteristics which the hatch is known for. In the aim of better functionality, the new MINI has 'lost' the iconic central speedometer. Electric window switches are also moved to the door cards for 'better ease of operation'. Looks like MINI is all out to tackle the mass market here. Now jump to the video below to catch the Cooper S - and listen to the sweet exhaust noise from the hot hatch. http://dai.ly/x1gtvke

12. Jaguar's plan to make a compact sports sedan is on track for a global launch in 2015. The automaker recently released a short video, offering viewers a glimpse of the new XE sedan. http://dai.ly/x1ewij3 The new XE will go head on with the BMW 3 Series and Lexus IS, as well as other worthy contenders in the compact sedan segment when it goes on sale in 2015. It also promises to be the most technologically advanced, featuring a lightweight aluminium construction as demonstrated on the C-X17 concept, as well as a new range of 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol and diesel powerplants.
13. Everytime when a super sports carmaker, especially one of Koenigsegg's calibre, releases a new model, the world stands still. And not just any hypercar - the Koenigsegg One:1 is the most powerful car by the Swedish carmaker and also, most probably the fastest car on Earth. With a power-to-weight ratio of 1:1, the 1,340kg hypercar will have an equivalent amount of horses on tap. And DRIVE gives us a short, less-than-a-minute teaser of the hypercar just before its debut at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show.
14. TL;DR: NSF(s) witnessed alleged dog abuse by warrant officer and / or LTC, films portion of abuse, hands video over to Animal Lovers League, who then uploads video online. SAF investigates, gets source from Animal Lovers League video uploader, allegedly promises no punishment for the video taker, charges NSF for taking video in green zone. Regulars not charged as SAF considers abuse not to have happened. TL;SR: (Too Long;Still bother to read) Sauce: http://www.todayonline.com/singapore/authorities-investigating-alleged-animal-abuse-pasir-ris-camp#inside Sauce for photo and second quote: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10202579205575576&set=a.10200303362400919.1073741825.1059662158&type=1 Thoughts? Personally I love dogs, though my family don't, so I can't keep them in the house. I'm angry at those who do abuse dogs, cats, or other animals. (Eating them is ok for me, I guess). The FB post is by the father of the NSF who tio SOL for doing the right thing (morally, if not by protocol). Can understand the father's annoyance (to put it mildly) when his son is punished and the regulars got away scot-free from their actions.

16. http://news.asiaone.com/news/diva/sexy-flight-video-sparks-sexism-row Sexy in-flight video sparks sexism row The New Paper Tuesday, Feb 11, 2014 Normally, flight-safety videos can be boring. They struggle to catch the attention of passengers as cabin crew take them through the procedures. But Air New Zealand has decided to ditch those boring videos by sexing it up with bikini-clad models starring in their latest in-flight video. The models explain, in a different way, what to do in case of an emergency, the Mail Online reported. The video, posted on YouTube, was shot in the Cooks Islands in the south Pacific. Among the models is supermodel Christie Brinkley, who puts in a guest appearance. The 60-year-old did not go to the tropical resort island for the shoot, but played her role from her Los Angeles home. The other models involved were Chrissy Teigen, Ariel Meredith, Hannah Davis and Jessica Gomes - some of the biggest names in bikini modelling. The video was produced in association with Sports Illustrated to mark the 50th anniversary of the magazine's swimsuit edition. But the preview of the video has already riled feminists who slam it as "sexist", The Telegraph reported. Air New Zealand, known for producing quirky videos, has been accused of going too far with its latest "highly sexualised" offering. Dr Deborah Russell, a lecturer at New Zealand's Massey University, is livid. She told FairFax newspaper: "My concern is that as a woman, I get on a plane to go to a business meeting and I am confronted by women in bikinis in what are highly sexualised images. That jars." The airline also plans to use the video to promote its route from Auckland to Los Angeles, which offers a stop-over in the Cook Islands. An Air New Zealand spokesman said the airline was not concerned about a potential backlash from passengers over the video's portrayal of women. He said: "We have been careful to ensure 'Safety in Paradise' has been produced in a way that is tasteful. "Naturally, given this safety video celebrates 50 years of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, it made sense to feature some of the magazine's most well-known models."
17. http://sg.news.yahoo.com/police-thorough-probing-teresa-kok-video-clip-says-054234092.html The police will be thorough in their investigation of a statement by Seputeh MP Teresa Kok (pic) in a video clip that is alleged to be defamatory, said Deputy Home Minister Datuk Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar. He said that if the police found that Kok had breached the law and the attorney general was convinced that there was sufficient evidence against her, then the case would be brought to court. "But if there is no breach of the law, then the AG will take no further action. "Then nobody should say the police and the AG are weak because if the case goes to court and is thrown out, then the AG and the police will look foolish," he told reporters today. Kok had claimed that the video, Onederful Malaysia CNY2014, uploaded on social media on January 27 was a satirical one and that it did not insult anyone. Federal Internal Security and Public Order director Datuk Seri Salleh Mat Rashid had said that the police would look into the allegedly defamatory video clip. Wan Junaidi said MPs had a certain amount of privilege when speaking in parliament but had to observe their limitations when saying anything outside the august house. - Bernama, February 3, 2014.

19. Lamborghini has released a new video that gives us our first look at the 2015 Huracán LP 610-4 in action. The Huracán is designed to replace the Gallardo as the Italian automaker's smallest and most affordable model. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ewwsgIt6VQg The final installment of a YouTube series dubbed the "Hexagon Project," the video opens as three friends have snuck into Lamborghini's factory in an attempt to be the first to see the Huracan. Miraculously, they manage to find an unguarded example of the new supercar complete with keys, and proceed to take it for a spirited drive full of drifting and donuts before a team of security guards brings the fun to an end. Skip ahead to the 1:50 mark for the tire-scorching melee.
20. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kwLfhVnALOAThe National Highway Traffic Safety Administration(U.S.) would like drivers to know that when eggnog and Christmas cheer get the best of you this season, driving is the last thing you should do, and it has enlisted the mercenary services of Robocop to remind you. In a $7.5-million ad campaign, at least. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=INmtQXUXez8 The anti-drunk driving commercials are part of "Drive sober or get pulled over" ads that accompany a heightened police crackdown on drunk drivers until January 1. It coincides with the release of the Robocop reboot, which is scheduled to be in theaters next February. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xPLSpmAtc1Q You can check out the 32-second NHTSA spot below, and also two trailers for the Robocop film just to make sure you understand what you're dealing with. You know what needs to happen now. Rather, you have ten seconds to comply.... Here in Singapore, Drink driving is a very serious offence and the penalties are severe. Drink drivers, on conviction, will be disqualified from driving for at least 12 months, which would, in effect, invalidate their driving licences. These motorists will have to undergo the theory and practical tests in order to obtain their driving licences again. In addition, first-time offenders can be fined between $1,000 and $5,000, or jailed up to 6 months, while repeat offenders may be punished with a maximum fine of $30,000 and a mandatory jail term of up to 3 years. They may also receive up to six strokes of the cane should death or serious injury occur. So, don't drive to drink :)
21. Currently I'm using Any Video Converter but this software has limitation, if the input file has error in some of its frames, the audio and video will go out of sync during the conversion. Are there software that are smart enough to skip the error? http://www.any-video-converter.com/support...top_10_faqs.php
22. How come the 'Anonymous' upload this video to youtube, then take it down? I searched on youtube and found several other videos purportedly done by 'Anonymous' against the respective countries' government but those videos have remained viewable on youtube. After looking through these Anonymous videos on youtube, I conclude a pattern: - It has identical opening video clip segment. - Most have identical segment that shows the guy in the mask facing the camera speaking from script. - The voice-over is from text-to-speech software. That means there is some stock Anonymous clip somewhere that people can download to use, just make amendments to the voice script and parse it through the text-to-speech software then add in the audio stream? P.S: how many brudders' here are secretly hoping that the real Anonymous (if there is one) can make our ERP gantries free? -------------------- Police investigating video threatening cyberattack on Singapore: IDA SINGAPORE — Police are investigating a YouTube video that purportedly showed an anonymous hacker group threatening to attack Singapore, said the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) today (Oct 31). The video, posted on Oct 29, claims to be put up by international hacker group Anonymous. Showing a person seated at a table and wearing a Guy Fawkes mask, a digitised voice-over threatened to attack Singapore’s infrastructures over the new licensing scheme for online news sites. “We demand you reconsider the regulations of your framework or we will be forced to go to war with you,” the video said. Lasting about three minutes and 40 seconds, the video also said that hacker The Messiah, who is behind the hacking of several websites in Singapore, is part of Anonymous. By this evening, the original video appeared to have been removed from YouTube, although copies can still be found online. In response to TODAY’s queries, an IDA spokesperson would only say, “We are aware of the video, and the police are investigating into the matter.” Queries have been sent to the police. http://www.todayonline.com/singapore/police-investigating-video-threatening-cyberattack-singapore
23. Having won the World Rally Championship (WRC) nine times in a row, Sebastien Loeb is widely regarded as the most successful rally racer ever. However, he has already made plans forward after the current season. Loeb's 2013 run in the WRC was on a limited schedule (sounds like part-time if you ask us). The versatile racing driver has decided to take part in the World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) next year, piloting the Citroen C-Elysee WTCC race car. He will also take part in Porsche Carrera Cup Asia (PCCA) at the season's final race in Macau. While the future looks bright for the talented driver, things didn't look too well at his last WRC career race in France. At the first stage of the final day of competition at the Rally of France, Loeb crashed and landed top down in the forest. Fortunately, both Loeb and co-driver Daniel Elena came out of the wreckage unhurt. Jump to the video to catch the in-car footage of the whole accident. http://dai.ly/x15t563
24. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ydtGew7bWuw Avid car collector and self-confessed automotive gear head, Jay Leno, recently had the opportunity to test drive a really unique and bespoke vehicle - which most could only dream of. Anyone who wasn't born a minute ago would be familiar with a vehicle that has made several appearances in various films - the Batmobile. The 'Keaton' Batmobile from the hit film, Batman and Batman Returns, directed by Tim Burton and starring Michael Keaton was what got me into cars. To me it is still the most iconic vehicle of Hollywood, even ahead of the Austin Mini’s from The Italian Job, the 1959 Cadillac Miller-Meteor limo-style endloader or the DeLorean from Back to The Future, among others. I was four and I still have a faint memory of watching it at the Capitol Theatre and till date, it is still my favourite. It was unlike anything I have seen before. It was futuristic, sleek and to be honest I find it sexier than Michelle Pfeiffer in latex. It barely had lights, had a fictional aircraft engine, an afterburner and that tail which pretty much look like angle wings but in a more gothic fashion a symbolism for silent guardian angel maybe? Thankfully I had an opportunity to see it in its entirety when I visited Warner Bros theme park in Brisbane. When Joel Schumacher took over, there were two different Batmobiles for Batman Returns and Batman & Robin. While the 'Kilmer' Batmobile was still bearable the fins looked ridiculous it had a stupid face and it had a skeleton like design. It looks like a piranha on wheels. The Batmobile from Batman & Robin's looks so bad, I don’t even want to talk about it. After an absence of eight years in the silver screen, Batman was rebooted in the hands of Christopher Nolan - and among things we got a new Batmobile, and even a backstory. I have to admit, my initial reaction to first teaser picture of The Tumbler was not very positive. It looked funny, had no front axle, didn't look as sleek as anything as the previous ones and wasn't really flashy or attractive. Then I thought why it would work. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WJB3hqUsHDE Batman is not about a fashion statement, he is a vigilante, a guy in an outfit fighting crime. He needs the muscle, firepower and speed to get things done quickly and it doesn't have to look pretty. And it does have to look a little provoking – to announce his arrival – and to pancake cop cars in the evening news. Function over fashion.
