Will collect car on 8 or 9 June. Thought I'd list down for fun what stuff I have planned to get ( some stuff may not be locally available I see a lot of Youtube). These are basic necessities. Not interested in nice to have items.... 1. Hozelock fitting for connecting hose to MSCP paid tap 2. Hose - Prob like 10m long 3. Pail with grit guard 4. Car Shampoo - Optimum No Rinse 5. Wax - Meguairs Spray Wax 6. Microfiber cloths - 10 pcs (plan to use Single Bucket with several cloths for 1 wash) 7. Leather cleaner - Chemical Guys 8. Leather conitioner - Chemical Guys 9. Vacuum - I got a Dyson handheld so no need to buy 10. Brushes for tyres - I dont see much point in cleaning tyres to be honest... 11. Suction cup holder for phone for Google Maps navigation 12. Sun shade - Need to install Blackvue first before buying to make sure it doesn't block the view Planned regiment : 1. Wash once a week or 2 weeks 2. Wax after wash once a month 3. Clean leather once a month (condition alternate month) Thats all for now..... Heard about Autobacs to will prob pay the place a visit this weekend. Feel free to post :-)

I like to check with you guys. Anyone experience with car broke down in multi storey car park? I don't know if tow truck is able to tow the car from the car park. My car went in workshop on and off, called tow truck before. Seems like it is going in again. As car was bought recently from used car dealer, I do not want to go any workshop first as previous workshops are their workshop. Car is able to move now but don't know when it will cease. I just like to know if it is possible to tow the car from multistory car park. Don't ask me what happen to my car, a bit sian to recite whole story.

Vehicle Make: HONDA Vehicle Model: FIT 1.3G A An indicator has light up and is up for a a week already but the car still works great. It seems to be related to the key. What does that indicator mean? What do I have to do? Also, I bought this car 2nd hand and I don't have the driver's manual. :( I have downloaded a lot of honda fit driver manual but they do not have the same symbol I have changed my car key battery but indicator still up. I think the system was installed by the previous owner. I am not sure if it is original with the car. The system works like this: When the key is near to the car, I wont have to press the unlock button to unlock the car. I just place my hand under door handle and it will unlock. Also, if the key is not near the driver area, I won't be able to turn the ignition switch. it was raining heavily yesterday afternoon at bukit timah area. and this vios driver was so kan jiong to provide shelter for his mother and GF waiting for him at a pickup point that he engaged a R gear instead of P. he was lucky that i was sitting inside my car at the time and i saw the vios was actually started to move and reversing without a driver. at first i was really thought someone could have taken over the wheel from the inside. the heavy rain dropping on my screen was also affecting my visual too. later, i decided to make a dash to stop the car from any damages. so guys, this is what MT is safer than AT. double check your gear position.

My younger boy (8 yr) always has problem spelling words and writing. He can read very well and is already reading Rick Riordan's books. Currently into the last book of the 2nd series, The Blood of Olympus. Ask him anything about dinosaurs, space or Greek myths and he rattle off facts non stop because he reads a lot of books on those topics. And he has an incredible imagination and we have no doubt that he is an intelligent boy. But when it comes to writing, he has lots of problems. Simple words like could, should, balloon, etc... he can't spell or miss out letters here and there. Spacing letters, punctuation and capital letters are a major problem despite reminding him countless times. That got me to research what the problem is with him. I found dysgraphia on the Internet. It is something like dyslexia but unlike dyslexia, which is reading and writing disability, dysgraphia is only writing disability. I am going to get him assessed by a psychologist and see if he needs special courses to help him with his writing. My question is - does anyone know the effectiveness of these so called professional help? These type of things are very expensive as I read on the Internet.

There used to be a lot of Q-plate cars in Singapore, to denote those which are owned by companies as opposed to individuals. In the 1990s, QEx, QBx, and QCx plates were commonly seen. But now, there are barely any left. Unless it's a very nice plate, such as a few single digit ones, it's very hard to see one on the roads now. The last I saw was QDP, and I was surprised because I have never seen a QDx before. Any idea what happened to them?

Had been bored over the weekend, so tried to cook lala bee hoon. Did not really count the exact amount of ingredients so based on agar-ation. But I am missing a taste which i cannot put a finger at.. Things I dumped in, chopped garlic shredded ginger spring onion chicken stock throw in lala to brew add pepper, hua tiao jiu, sesame oil after it boiled I throw in bee hoon. but there is something missing in there. The beehoon doesnt seems to be silky or rather oily and there is a missing taste.. I cant sleep sia !!! PS any one got recipe for white beehoon?

Just got a new car with stock speakers and Pioneer 2750bt system. If I wanted to get 2 out of 3 (speakers, amp, sub) with budget of $1000, can I get something decent that will give a noticeable improvement? Appreciate any advice. I want to get better sound, but really not sure what to upgrade first and with limited budget. Listen mostly to rock and pop music. Tks!

There was a time when car-based panel vans were all over Singapore. I remember Corollas and Datsuns making the bulk of them. Some time in the late 1990s they disappeared altogether. However, they did not actually go out of production. Some models are still available in Japan and Europe, and even Mini has a panel van. Anyone knows what happened? Was it because of certain regulations, or they just somehow went out of favour? A KE70 Corolla panel van, used to be a common sight in Singapore. A MINI panel van, recent generation. Vauxhall Astra panel van, from 2006.
