Hi everyone as above i believe many of us had heard its better to pump cold petrol early morning as petrol is more dense than when its hot....very logical right? But recently i started to pump petrol myself and i touch the metal part of the hose which connect to the nozzle and i can feel that its warm! i tried at another station and b4 i start pumping the metal part is cold and during pumping i again can feel the metal part is warm again So i suspect that petrol stations got some sort of equiment to warm the petrol and that in turn let them be more profitable by selling warm and less dense petrol to us What do u guys think? Maybe u guys can try pumping urself the next time and feel for urself? -

As above. At a lost about how to pacify the dog since she seems stressed out with the introduction of infants into our lives. Her barks and bbs cries almost drove wifey up the wall. Is there a win-win way out? Currently dog with my in-law place...

hello bros, i heard from a friend that if you get a class 2B licence after you hold a class 3 licence for more than a year, your demerit points limit will be reset to 12 again because class 2B and class 3 shares the same demerit points system. is this still true now? even if this is true... there's no need to put on the P plate on your car even though your demerit points limit is reset to 12 right? (but of course u still gotta put on your P plate if u're riding a bike)

Dear bros and sis out there... When my car goes over a hump, there is always a squeky noise coming from the front wheels. Is that a suspension or coil problem? Doesn't seem that the back has this problem yet. The noise is getting louder right now if I am driving along uneven road surface or just inside car park ramps where there are those 'hole' type of surface.

hi forumers any1 ever encounter this when travelling at abt 90 to 100km/hr in ur ride ...sound came from the rear n tyre pressure is ok n no material stuck btw the tyre..sound like sumthing stuck in there ..haizzzz do my tyre rotation every 10k btw my ride is a TS 1.6 wt F1 tyre..care to enlighten me in this..kinda stress when driving wt the noise..thanks all

when ever i park beside a taxi, lorry or van, i always very worry... coz the next morning i wake up n pick up ur car, 90% sure the car got scratch or dent (a result of them opening their vehicle's door wide open and knocking onto ur car) exprienced this a few times liao... juz wonder if these ppl do it on purpose...? anything we can do abt it?

Is it true that it is not wise to turn steering wheel when car is not moving but engine is on? even when doing 3/4 turn, we need to pump some momentum to the car before turning?

It's amazing even at lousy times like this, property prices for HDB is still high. Couple of my friends (including me) are thinking of offloading our HDB flats and bunking in with parents. Any experts here can tell when's a good time to sell? I have observed so far that HDB flat prices have mostly been on the rise (hardly drop) over the decades. In other words, even if people were to sell now but prices are still expected to rise in years to come right? I'm not a property guru, but in this case, why are people selling?

Dear all, I have sold my car in Jan08 and did not own any car since then. I'm planning to get an used car by year-end and do you guys knows whether my 20% NCD is still valid when I get my car insurance? I have heard that NCD will be void if I do not get any car insurance after a break of 3 years. Thank you.

Hi VAG experts, Recently I have to drive up to Malaysia quite regularly, thus I have bought another car, a 2nd hand 2006 Passat 2.0 FSI for this purposes. In the D mode, while I have revving up the gears, I always feel a hard jerk (machiam gears throwing) for the following gears change i.e. 2 to 3 and 5 to 6. This also happens when I am engaging the R gear. However, when I used the S mode or manual shift to drive, there are none of such incidences. Any advice? Thanks, F_S

Hi bros I got a qns here..when do we normally need to replace the brakes rotors ? Currently reaching to 40K mileage, I change e pads to mintex which i think i wears the rotor out faster than the stock pads. Can feel many grooves when i run my fingernails over the rotors..so I was wondering if there is any rule of thumb like to change rotors during 80K servicing or so etc...any kind bros can give me some advice ? I
