Just today I discovered that the whole of my car began to vibrate when it is stationary in D mode. Not sure what happens. This vibration is more obvious when my aircon is switched on. When the aircon is off, the vibration is lesser. Compressor is about 1 year plus old from AD. Regularly change my aircon filter at every 10k mileage during servicing. Apart from this, when it is in P mode or driving or reversing, everything remains normal. Ride is about 3 years old. Like to seek some help on this. Thanks in advance!

Knew a girl for months. became a couple. She made me pay for almost everything when we go out. She is very careful with her own money but everytime we go out spending she expect me to pay even pay for her maid and family. Hawker centres, cafes & restaurants. At hawker centres, i will 1st queue & order food for her then only i queue and order food for myself. Including food and drinks i must have queued at least 3 times. And u know each queue can be long esp. during meal times. Once when i didnt order her food but she has to go queue & order her own, she wasnt happy. maybe becos she ended up having to pay her own food tat time. another time, i dropped her off to order food in a restuarant so that i can go find parking space. When i came into restuarant she told me she havent pay for the food. But at this restaurant cashier counter, u will be made to pay right away upon food ordering. I was thinking maybe she told the cashier she didnt have money on her. So she waited for me to come and pay. Even her maid food she asked me to pay. Even when her parents want papers, she got me to buy. Is this normal? Or is it their divine right for girls to expect their guys to pay for everything when they are out? Or am i being too calculative?? Being too easy going (generous etc) and being a carrot seem no difference. No-one like to be the latter. I thought it is more normal for both to pay ie. sometimes guys pay and sometimes gals pay too. though guys pay more times. I am flabbergasted by this all.

Dear Bros, When I was travelling up north with speed higher than 110km/h; my car will vibrate when I step on the break pedal. My friend told me its the ABS causing the car to vibrate. I do not have this situation when travelling/ breaking locally with speed less than 100km/h. My ride is Accord CL7. My friend driving Legacy does not has this problem at high speed. I would like to check if any of the Bro encounter the same situation or has any advise? Tks!

Hi guys, this might sound tedious but i BET most of us had experience it before... U are stuck in a JAM from JB back to Singapore. The jam is bloody long and suddenly u feel the urge of pee that gonna come off. You are alone in the car and u really tabolek tahan already.. What would you possibly do? 1)Stop the car halfway in the causeway and go out to pee? 2)Pee on your pants? 3)Find a bottle to pee inside your car OR do you guys have any other suggestion? I experience while coming back from JB just now... Guess what I had done? hahaha...

Backside itch one day n i went down to Benzline (importer for merc n BMW parts) n bought a set of lowering spring for my dad W211. After installing, the car wasn't very low, just a finger rear and no lowering on the front. Thus i went back to Benzline to rectify. The sales manager immediately brought out another set of spring, mentioned that there might be a packaging error that i might be given the wrong set of spring, perhaps meant for bigger capacity, thus tts why the front doesn;t lower. He intro me to a workshop around UBI area which he will absorb the re-installation labour charges. Thus i proceeded to re-install the new set of spring. However, the new spring makes no difference from the first set of spring. Car is not any lower. After discussion with the Sales manager from benzline, i have decided to go back to stock, since that set of lowering spring couldn;t lower my call at all. They have also agreed to absorb the re-installation labour charges back to stock at the same workshop. That is when the problem comes in. I waited nearly 5 hrs for them to put back to stock for me. They broke my original nut, which connects the absorber to the lower arm. Nevermind, they have found a spare one and put it back. Everything done ok and i got back the car n went home. My dad drove the car to JB one day. when exiting the new CIQ custom, he made a turn n the road surface wasn;t even, the car oversteered at very low speed dry road surface. There was also squeeking sound coming from the rear suspension. My dad drove his car back to our own workshop, the one which we installed the spring. they jack up the car and noticed that the screw which they replaced should be used on a japanese car for one side, a US car on the other side. The spring was not sitting into the well properly. Just called workshop n they mentioned all the 4 springs were not sitted properly into the well. The workshop is quite popular in UBI area, selling BC coilovers n many other parts. many DC5R n FD2R patronise the workshop as well. But when it comes to dealing with mercedes, that is the problem which i faced. Springs not installed properly, Screwed used wrongly. Benzline is honest when dealing with customer, and i managed to exchanged my spring with a set of exhaust tip. However, the workshop which they recommended is the one that gives me a night mare. So guys, out there, pls be careful when choosing the correct workshop. I cannot imagine if one day the car smashed due to the wrongly installed spring, who is gonna be responsible.

*sigh* *Big Sigh* Check with the brothers here.. if anyone can advise what i could do the make my St*pid Insurance give me my 10% NCD. I had a minor accident last August (10/08) .. a motorcycle brush my car and it fell to the ground. No injury to the cyclist and he said that he wont make any claim against me. However, to protect myself, i made a report anyway with 24 hrs.. So the insurance had a record of "pending case" and "reserved" $2000 for the accident. No claim so far has been made against me.. My insurance is due to renew this mth.. and when i check with them, they are not giving me my ncd.. and give a high high quote for my insurance.. I call up LTA and Traffic police.. both cannot help. So what shld i do ? Go to CASE ? -
or report that driver to court?

started this interesting topic out of curiousity.........mine was a volvo, cause aunty used to drive me in it, though at that time it look like a 'box' but i reckon the name was unique and diff from the others.....that was in the 80s though. :)

couldnt understand why when it rains, our expressway is always filled wif accidents. is it tat local drivers cant handle bad weather? also cannot understand why the road is still jammed up even when accident vehicles are moved to the road shoulder and causing no obstructions. was traveling from AYE jurong towards keppel @ 0800hrs and only reached tanjong pagar @ 0915hrs. the usual trip in the morning was about 30 minutes. along the saw 1 new kia cerato being towed by EMAS wif its boot smashed and front also damaged. :(

Early this month, I was very upset when I received a flyer which stated the condominium developments, unit numbers and exact transaction prices of properties transacted by the company in the East Coast area. My unit at 1 Amber, #xx-0x, and the transaction price were at the top of the list. I wrote immediately to DTZ and complained about the agents who had publicly distributed the details of my unit number and exact sale price. I have yet to receive a reply. Such information should be confidential and not made public, much less advertised and distributed freely. By contrast, the Urban Redevelopment Authority's two online services, Prices Of Units Sold In Private Residential Properties and Private Residential Property Transactions With Caveats Lodged, respect the privacy of both seller and buyer by not revealing the address or the transaction price.
