While we'd heard Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren were sleeping in two different beds, this new chastity belt report goes above and beyond safe sex under the same roof. Says the source, "She wears a chastity belt made of spikes. They are not living together as a couple. They are putting on a charade for the children." All this via Fox News. A charade for the children and a chastity belt for her dignity. Good girl, Elin Nordegren! Just a fun little history lesson, while you're here: chastity belts appear to have been employed in the 1400's through the 1500's to keep men and women from engaging in fornication, and allegedly to prevent masturbation (which was thought to be medically harmful to a woman in those days). Today they're still manufactured and used, sold mostly in bondage shops... Uh, Elin, we're thinking you might want to take off that chastity belt. SINGAPOREAN filmmaker Jack Neo has been spotted with his wife in Taiwan in what appears to be a trip to patch up his marriage. Neo, who has been nicknamed "Singapore's Tiger Woods" by the media after reports about his alleged links to 11 women, was photographed holding his wife Irene Kng close to him while walking on a street in Taiwan.SIT to offer industry-focused Degree Programmes to Poly Grads Sin Chew Daily reported that Neo had travelled to the island for a discussion with a Taiwan-based Malaysian actor. It is believed that Neo is planning to make a Taiwanese version of I Not Stupid, his 2002 hit movie. Kng, who broke down during a press conference last month when Neo apologised over his indiscretions, also reportedly went to a night market in Taiwan with her husband. Neo apparently kept using his mobile phone to take pictures of his wife. They were also seen sharing a bowl of noodles at the night market, besides seeking shelter under an umbrella while walking in the rain, the daily said.

HOURS after businessman Vernon Leong celebrated his wedding banquet at the Hilton Singapore, his family and friends found themselves preparing for his funeral. The 31-year-old bridegroom was found early yesterday morning at the foot of the Orchard Road hotel. He was pronounced dead by paramedics at 3.35am. My wife is going to Bangkok with her friend for 4 days. I am quite concern over her safety as it will be a 2 girls trip there. Can anyone advise what "weapon" can i get for her and where can i get it so that at least i know she will have something to protect herself should **touchwood** anything happen. Thought of getting a knife but i don't want her end up cutting herself as she likes to throw everything in a bag. She can be quite a blur-c--k. Thanks

From CNA : My wife fed me arsenic, says hubby At 67, she is now on trial - accused of poisoning her husband of 32 years with arsenic. Fong Quay Sim is alleged to have fed Mr Chan Tin Sun, 70, arsenic between 2004 and 2005 while they were still living together at Jalan Ulu Siglap. On Wednesday, the Community Court heard how a doctor treating Mr Chan for various ailments in 2006 had gone to the police after detecting high amounts of the poison, commonly found in insecticides and pesticides, in his urine sample. The victim identified his wife as the culprit, although he had never witnessed her committing the act. Asked why he did so, the retiree and former contractor said, "Because my food is bought by her." Mr Chan told the court his suspicions were aroused as early as 12 years ago when his skin turned black because of poisoning. Between 2003 and 2005, he was admitted to hospital on several occasions for poisoning, he said. Over the years, he had confronted his wife a couple of times, but she always denied it. The court heard that Mr Chan got very ill on several occasions in 2006 and was bedridden in hospital for a few months. At one point, he was so sick he could not move his limbs. After tests were done, doctors told him it was arsenic poisoning. Mr Chan also claims that his bad health - he suffers from lung and liver problems, as well as skin and pancreatic cancer - is a consequence of the prolonged poisoning. After he was discharged at the end of 2006, he kicked Fong out of their home out of fear that she would poison him again. hmmmmm....................... never ever antagonized a woman......... Kana arsenic poisoning for 12 years..........

kind of curious. I had an arguement with my wife about buying bags.... branded bags meaning any bags that cost more than $400. $400 is an arbitrary number so there is nothing to argue about. I know some branded bags cost less, etc.

As per title. My fren is 40 years old now, not exactly earning good bucks, ie. below 4K so local girls would deem him as "unsuitable". Not good looker either. However he has gift of the gab though, so sianing local ah lians no problem. Sian local career girl or chiobu(non lian) below 30 years old is a big problem, BUT, he wants a wife and he is quite besotted with those from Vietnam after seeing a video on youtube where 18 year old SYT looked so yummy and innocent, and curvaceous and demure etc. You get the picture ya. Anyone with a Viet wife? Or perhaps know someone who does. Can you share the pros and cons. I am supposed to go with him to Vietnam in about 2 years time to "pick" a wife. Flames had suddenly lashed out at Madam Koh from the gas cylinder in the kitchen. She was burnt on various parts of her body, including hair, neck and arms. Her clothes were also on fire. Though horrified, Mr Pek's reaction was swift and decisive. He said in Mandarin: 'I was standing near her when I saw she was on fire. So I grabbed a large towel lying on the floor, ran it under running water, and wrapped it around her head and upper body.' -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I've attended a Fire Hazard & Safety talk by my company recently. The speaker is an retired-Fireman of an 'Encik' rank. I can somewhat remember what was advised to react in situation as mentioned above. - DO NOT USE WET TOWEL .. why? 1) The moisture in the wet towel, when come in contact with heat, results in 'steaming' the skin and flesh. 2) Try not to WRAP the burnt victim, as the burnt skin of the vicitim will 'stick' to the fabric of whatever is used to cover them INSTEAD, when a person is on fire, 1) Use an ABC Dry powder extinguisher (which is chemically safe for use on human, apologies forgotten the word for it..) on the victim on fire. <- Hence a fire extinguisher is a good to have 2) Ask the victim on fire to cover his/ her face.. ROLL on the floor to put out the fire himself/ herself. Ok, this is my 2-bytes worth. It is just I'm too comfortable with the way the article is portraying the corrective actions for a victim on fire Hope any bro/ sis who has more knowledge on this can correct me and/or add on to the above.

Lady who 'chopes' seats with tissue chases Caucasians away (http://singaporeseen.stomp.com.sg/singaporeseen/viewContent.jsp?id=57644) Much to the consternation of a STOMPer, two Caucasians were unceremoniously chased away from a table 'reserved' by a woman at this table at the busy Lau Pa Sat on a rainy afternoon. And the contributor couldn't take her rudeness, after she was allegedly seen crowing over her 'victory', and told the latter off. In an email to STOMP, melting eskimo said: "It was looking like another crowded lunchtime at Lau Pa Sat, except it started raining so everybody sitting outside flocked inside, with half-eaten and un-eaten trays of food in hands, desperately searching for empty seats. "An empty table had its four empty chairs 'booked' with tissue packs, while my colleagues and I were standing around for 5 minutes with our food, waiting for a table to clear up. "We eventually found a table for us, and sat down to eat. Five minutes later, two Caucasians (picture) unknowingly sat down at the aforementioned empty table, having removed the tissue packs. "Another five minutes later, which was already a full 15 minutes since we first spotted the empty table, who who knows really how long it had been since they had selflishly 'reserved' the table and walked off, a lady (in white in picture) came back with her food, and went on to do the shameless thing of chasing the Caucasians off, looking all indignant. "Equally stunning was how the Caucasians acquiesced, picking up their half-eaten food and going off in search of another table. "Of course, this whole victorious episode was subsequently recounted to her mates when they came back with their food yet many moments later, with all of them repeatedly turning around to look at the two offending Caucasians who had 'stolen' their seats. "I later went up to the lady in white, and told her that a lot of people had witnessed what she had done, and I told her that it was disgusting that they'd leave the seat empty for 15 minutes and still had the audacity to come back to reclaim it, chasing thetwo Caucasians off in the process, and acting like it was her god-given right to the seats. "I added that it's ugly Singaporeans like her that make me embarrassed to be called a fellow Singaporean. Her reply was a lame "Fine!" "Later, as we were walking off she said something that I couldn't make out, to which I just told her that she's shameless and that there's nothing more to be said, to which she said "And you too!"
