Hi everyone, I was moving out of a very tight corner parking lot due to some idiot who parked his car in front of me and blocking my way out. While turning out, my left rear wheel hit the low curb and ran over it. After that, driving seemed to be a bit strange....I can feel some slight waddling occasionally at back of my car when moving, especially when driving through those speed regulating strips. Is this my imagination or has something actually gone wrong?

AYE--> jurong before portsdown/farrer exit. in a jam, 2 laes became 1. you have the lane then comes the bugger from the left wanting a share of ur lane. u shift a little to the rite to avoid then that bugger came in more till the butt is near ur front already. noone wanna give way. so BANG!

Hi brothers, Just wondering! Can I fix a Nissan X-trail steering on a Sunny N16 Ex Saloon. If yes, will the airbag work?? Any idea what would be the cost of X-trail leather steering and where can I buy it? my steering is those plastic type without leather, i am intending to change steering with leather but those aftermarket steering with Airbag are very expensive and thought this way would be cheaper! pls advise

my a/c all of a sudden just stopped. can turn on, can hear something kicking in as usual but no wind at all... what kind of problem do u guys think it is? anyway been thinking if it costs too much maybe i just sell my car... do u think it will affect my scrap/export value? after all, for scrapyards i heard they dont even bother about anything so long can drive there can liao...

Hi Bros and Sis, today while driving, i noticed that i saw some cars with tyre threads that is barely visible.. at first i thought is spare tyre, but i went around all 4 wheels and see the same thing.. then the other day while changing new tyres with dad at workshop, i saw one car that changed tyres even though all 4 are still new!! and he is changing for the same type.. think is Falken de don't know what.. just like to know how many people actually think tyres should be paid more attention to, or maybe less attention to.. maybe we can exchange views also.. Here's the fun bit. I bought a toyota Sera which comes with the SLSS (super live surround sound) system. This means i have 2 pairs of OEM components, 1 OEM sub and 1 OEM front centre speaker. sound is controled through a dsp/small amp behind the dash and the rear components are in a "sausage" enclosure that can tilt at a button to change the angle the sound bounces off the glass. As the car is a 1990 model i was thinking of refurbishing all the speakers. Due to the unique nature of the rear speakers i have to get them professionally done. I have also sorted out the front components. My problem lies in the sub and centre speaker. Due to space constraints i am left with 1 speaker. its a 20w RMS with a 40w max power. I will be running a VDO Dayton HU that cranks out MOSFET 4x55w. Do you think i will be blowing the speakers or will i just have distortion if i turn the volume up to high?

Think of changing the exhaut but dont know if it worth the money to do so, cos i afraid it wont not improve BHP that much as we think and it also costly!!! Any advise??? Or any other item to do to improve BHP??? Or other mod to the car???

Hi guys, wana check with you? Do you all wax your car once a month, or every 3 months? What would be a good timeframe so as not to spoil the paintwork? After waxing your car, normally will u all just use water to "wash" or shampoo again maybe say a week later? Beginner at detailing job hence would like to find out more. Thanks!

Just collected my new car less than 3 wks back and this is what happen yesterday. There is this bus that try to overtake my car (driven by my dad) in the PIE. The driver was trying to filter to the 2nd lane whereas my car was in the 3rd lane. The bus(Front Left Bumper) scratched thru my car(Rear Right Bumper) and causes the Rear right Bumper to give way and Tail Right Lamp to crack off. As both the owners were not present during the accident. Today I called the Bus Owner up and to my anger, he fired up at me saying that it my dad fault. I was pissed off my his statement as I suffered the damage and there basically no damage to his bus. Any advises from experience drivers out there? What my chances as Tan Cheong ask me to pay up full amount to the damage than do a claim to the other party's insurance?

Hi Bros, I'm driving a S60 2005 model. Recently I've installed a 2-channel Autobahn amp to drive a 12" JBL sealed woofer at Poh Seng. As I want to have minimal fuss and risk, we agree to tap the signal from the rear left speaker line instead of the headunit. A speaker-to-line converter was used. I later noticed the amp was not bridged and was told that if bridged, the stock HU ran the risk of being damaged. They couldn't quite explain why in technical terms. It is an easy job to bridge so I think the advice is based on their experience instead of cutting corners. Any idea ? Thanks. -
heard from my SE that Tan Chong will continue bringing in the current Sunny even after the launch of the new Sunny. The current Sunny will be used to compete with the Vios and Lancer is the low 50k market, whereas the Latio will compete with Altis in the 60k region. The new Sunny targeted competitior is the new Civic 1.8 in the Cat B category... btw, anybody who booked their sunny during the 47k price time got their COE already? Sunny just raised their price by another 1k. Ex manual selling for 51k now...

I changed my tyre from Michelin to BS GR80. Same size but different speed rating (1 rate higher). Strangely, my fc has gone up. Used to do abt 10Km/l or more. now doing avg 9.5km/l to 10km/l. There is no change in my driving habit and travelling pattern ie still 80% highway and 20% urban. I also did not do any other mod to the car. I checked the tyre pressure. it was ok. Any possible reason for this increased in FC ? GR 80 is heavier? differ material hence greater resistence ?

I want to up the boost but hearing the Seimens 2000 ECU will boost cut. Will the boost cut still happen with a boost controller. I can live with the CEL. BTW, this my first post hear. I drive an EVO 3 Wagon. Pictures of the rear suspension differences. Literally no difference. If you are stuck with the fact that you are unable to get a Volvo suspension for the time being. A temporary solution is a Proton Wira rear or Lancer CC/CD. CD is the EVO 3. The rear tie down stud is exactly the same diameter. So you can reuse your hardware from the OE. This is a mirror image of the difference. The OE is a Left Side while the Cusco is the Right Side. This show the difference for the mounting of the knuckle. All dimensions including the clips for the ABS and Brake Hoses are the same position. Final pictures. The Pillow Mount is from an EVO 4 not EVO 3. But you must use the EVO 3 coilover. I can dial up to 4* negative camber at the front. Wow! Don't need to worry about PG eating the outside of the front tires. Look at the negative camber! IPD Rear Sway Bar comparison with the OE Sway Bar.

I have changed my rear speakers in my Aveo to 6" JBL and 4" JBL in the front. I changed the head unit to the latest Pioneer MP3/WMA. The sound now is worst then my previous non mp3 HU. I have to turn-up the volume to about 22 before I can really enjoy music. One dealer reccommended me a power amp, then later he said a Bosch active sub-woofer will suffice. He quoted me $450/- for either. I don't know if my HU has preamp out, but what will your reccomendations be? I dont want to spend more than $500/- BTW can HU claims 50 watts mosfet

Hi all bros..i m riding a 92 civic esi. i dun go very much into ICE but i like music. i recently found out my both front side door mid-bass speaker, has got 'tear' sound. which i guess 99% the speaker spoil. i press softly on the sponge of the speaker & its good again. prob is: when i wash car 1 day..the cover that cover my speaker came out..then i saw water droplets dripping onto the speakers. not like tap water that kinda dripping water but obvious that it is cause by washing car or when it rains, the water will get into my door & to the speakers. wat i want to noe is will these little droplets of water cause the speaker to go spoil? wat i wan to do to resolve the dripping water: 1) i planning to glue up the inside of my door with silicone..those used on fish tanks... 2) stick a plastic bag as a shelter above the speaker inside the door. How can bros here advise mi...Please help. I would want to upgrade my speakers & amp but now realise that door leak water better fix it 1st. Thank u so much.
