Dear bros, I may need your professional advise. Dis morning, while reaching my office, i begin to wind up my window as i normally wind it down during morning. As my window begins to wind up, i heard a crack sound like something broke to pieces. Then the next thing is my window cannot be wind up. I can still hear the sound of the motor running when i press the button but the window is simply not moving. I can even use my hand to pull up the window, but the max i can pull is almost fully closed... there's still a small gap to fully closed n the window stuck there... do u guys haf any idea wat happened? Thanks

Dear Bros & Sis, Wonder if anyone of you have window grilles contractor to recommend? Will be good if you have pics, websites, prices indicated (if any) so I can make a better evaluation of the contractor. Looking to install window grilles as I have a new addition to the family. We've been in our new flat for 4 years. All has been well with fabulous views up in to Malaysia, some mountains 60km away, when there's no haze. But now another HDB block has been built not only blocking views but allowing us to see into their rooms and them to see into our rooms. Don't really want to have to continually draw curtains as it cut down on the breeze through the flat. We looked at window films when we moved in but they didn't appear dark enough and we wondered about them peeling off the glass. Any suggestions from you guys for good films to apply and do the sellers apply them as well. I suppose with all the car window films around these days there should be a lot of choice.

anyone can advise me where is the popular place to get chrome moulding set or triming for car side window. i am intending to chrome up my side window and the door handle for my new santa fe 2.7l but have not able to find one at mcwell or mancando. but i have seen on road a new santa fe doing up such chrome design...

Hi, I am driving a 2006 Toyota Vios. This morning when I wind down my car window, the window misaligned. I tried to wind it back up but it just got stuck there. As it was auto window (driver side), it went up and down again. Is this due to the power window module up lorry?

Hi all, my window film at the ERP bracket there got bubble. its a pretty new car. since sept the film there pulled by the IU unit ... and cause two 3mm bubbles. i relocated my IU to the Centre of the dash , on dash rather than stick on the glass. -- Can i claim warrenty for the film? since got 5 yrs warrenty? pls advise

As usual, will start with what I heard on Pool's activities. Strongly linked - Will Hughes Listening to offers - Lucas, Agger, Skrtel and GJ. Priority position to strengthen - LW and DM. Back up keeper and striker Lucas is wanted by Napoli apparently and Pool has lined up several possible replacement with Matic and Matuidi linked. Not sure if Lucas is interested in a move though but BR seems to be more keen to get a destroyer type of DM to partner Gerrard. Pool has enquired and obtained quoted from Soton for Gaston Ramirez and Adam Lallana. No formal approach yet. LW position Pool is looking at Yarmolenko with a loan deal for Shaqiri possible too. Bro and Sis, please help to recommend good workshop for reparing Power window of Toyota Estima? The holder that hold the glass have been broken. I have long story with Sparkcarcare with this window repair. It will be 3rd time I send in to assemble nicely for the window since I cancel the repair. The current service agent try to offer me to change the whole glass window with the holders (I need to purchase my v-kool again. Where by the prevous agent mention only change the holder). I verified with Borne Toyota and MBM that I can only change the holder. MBM informs me that there is no stock for the holders but need to wait 2 weeks for purchase. The worst is that Sparkcarcare simply assemble back the window with 3-4 mm gaps open that allow rains to go in between glass and rubber seal. I send in 2nd time in a day to re-allign the window. Today I learn that they broke few clips of side panel and power door cover is loosing that I will send in at 3rd time. They also broke my window visor and agreed to replace tomorrow. I am speechless!!! I never have such problem with them since using the ctr for almost 6 yr for regular oil change since previous accord. I use them since it is the authorised shop for PI estima. The warranty just expired at Mar 13. So bro and sis, is there a better workshop for repairing Estima? MBM is okay? I think that Sparkcarcare may not good in repairing but only servicing oil. I feel scary with Sparkcarcare and wonder if they can continue to perform the repair. -

Tried opening the rear driver side window and suddenly heard a loud CLARK as if something broke. Now the window kept 'sinking' down. SO how much to repair/replace this crappy power window?

Toyota hit by massive recall over faulty power window switches

Toyota has issued a massive recall involving 7.43 million cars, trucks and SUV due to a faulty power-window switch that runs the risk of catching fire. It is the largest recall since over 12 million vehicles including some Lexus models were found to have faulty accelerator pedals in 2009 and 2010. Fortunately, no death, injuries or accidents have been caused by the issue although the faulty switches could emit smoke. Nearer to home, Borneo Motors, the distributor of Toyota cars in Singapore, commented that 15,000 Toyota vehicles here are affected. A total of 14 models are involved in the recall and in Singapore, the affected models are the RAV4, Vios, Camry and Altis. The problem is caused by improper application of lubricant during the assembly process. The fix would involve putting heat-resistant grease on the switches or replacing them altogether. The recall is a blow to Toyota, which had just only reclaimed its world
