After back from lunch break , saw the side rear window smashed , anyone here know where can the window be fix at the lowest price? Check with the insurance co. , can't claim for the rear window as it not original

Heard a lot about this, and for the first time (hope it is the last) it happened to me. The window was wind down and could not be move up. Spoken to Czech Auto and was told that the regulator has broken (cost about S$250 to replace), but the motor is still moving. Open up and have managed to shift the window up manually using a spanner. Noticed that motor is connected to the gearing through a metal rod with the ends welded/attached to another metal inside a plastic. My goodness, either I get a scraped piece or do an OEM. Anyone done this before. a. Attached it back by High strength glue or epoxy b. Tack weld it. c. Put a bolt through d. change it. Please let me know your choice. Ivan

hi everyone, any experts here can help me with this issue??? My window visor has flown off and there is alot of dirty residue of glue from the foam tape and bits and bits of foam sticking to the residue of glue too.....any experts here can help me svole this problem in removing the residue and the small bits of foam sticking to my car's door?....visor was stick on the black plastic area of my car's window.....a sad owner here

Anyone knows if its possible to fit some add-on module to normal car remote alarm, to remote wind down car windows ? Or need to change the whole alarm to some more advanced type ? I see most of the alarm systems advertised "auto winding up" as a feature, but I just need to have it wind down to cool down car before driving off, winding up is not important to me. Any recommendations or ideas ? Thanks

Need to vent!!! You want to smoke? - OK You want to smoke in your car and stink everything up - OK BUT!!! Idiots who dangle ciggie out of the window then throw it out!!, please, STOP doing that, or FFS just stop smoking. One such mofo did that and I was driving with the window down, ashes came into my face and into my eyes, luckily was able to close that "one" eye that kena, drove to side of road, wash down the eye with mineral water. I curse your mother, father, grand father/mother and all your ancestors to haunt you in your dreams. Hopefully the next person you hit won't be your teenage son riding his new motorcycle and dying just seconds behind you! Imagine if your ciggie actually hits a motorcyclist and he falls, gets run over by another car.... dammit you're not even supposed to be smoking in the car. So for all the smokers who do that, PLEASE STOP LITTERING THE ROADS and causing a potential hazard.

Just as expected, my Huper Optik film on the 2 front side windows failed the VLT. No amount of pursuading could get the inspectors to pass the 30% reading. Well, yeah, rules are rules. So I'm prepared to change the film on the 2 front side windows. I'm keen to go back to Huper Optik Ceramic Plus, but I get the impression that just doing up 2 front side windows versus the full package (all windows) doesn't vary very much. I was quoted an astronomical $650 for the 2 front side windows and the front windscreen. I think a fair price to pay for the front 2 windows is around $150~200. Do you think?

I am driving an integra. Recently the motor for adjusting the left hand side mirror become very sluggish and sometime not even able to move. Is there any place where I can get it replace. I went to my normal workshop. He told me that I have to replace the whole side unit. Anyone know if I can just get the replacement motor? Thanks Lawrence

hi all, i got a set of visors from a famous shop in Ubi but second visit to shop liao still will not stick. keeps coming off the windows. my car is a suzuki swift. anybody can recomm a way to make it stick ? thks for yr help.

My kitchen window so many watermarks that I tried to scrub it with glass polisher also can't get it off... so the whole window looks blurr because of the watermarks... anyway to get rid of it? upstair always got water dripping to my window.. wish can install a mini awning

My Driver side LED is dimmer then the passenger side suddenly. Looking to get the follow parts if anyone here have any. Or is it possible to recommend me any good LED Mod fella who can replace some of the diode which i think is faulty. Ordering the parts will take 3 months to come in!

Guys,my driver side power window switch is not working or function properly as i need to hold it till they fully up or down then let go to stop,meaning not like last time when push one time,it will auto up or down fully, it just happen out of no reason,and i did not have any crash or not even open the door casing yet,any experts pls help , Tolonggggggg... I have this issue with my power window which I'm not sure if anyone of you guys have experienced. Sometimes can go up, sometimes cannot. Sometimes go up halfway then stop. Sometimes have to wait for a while then can manage to wind up again. Sent the car back to agent & they changed the entire switch by the door, but still happens. The trouble is, it doesn't always happen & you can never tell when its going to happen. I cannot park my car outside anywhere & when it rains I'm in trouble. Anyone faced with this problem before? Thanks.

I have been opening my windows b4 my aircon since i got my first ride 12yrs ago as i really dun feel comfortable with all that new car smell which alot of ppl crave which are actually strong concentration of chemicals i am really glad i did that!!! Also i am quite lucky my Latio got plasma ion aircon so i have not been using air freshener quite a while now. Below is what my friend E-mail me.......... Please open the windows after you enter your car and do not turn ON the air-conditioning immediately. According to a research done, the car dashboard, sofa, air freshener emits Benzene, a Cancer causing toxin (carcinogen- take note of the heated plastic smell in your car). In addition to causing cancer, it poisons your bones, causes anemia, and reduces white blood cells. Prolonged exposure will cause Leukemia, increasing the risk of cancer may also cause miscarriage. Acceptable Benzene level indoors is 50 mg per sq. ft. A car parked indoors with the windows closed will contain 400-800 mg of Benzene. If parked outdoors under the sun at a temperature above 60 degrees F, the Benzene level goes up to 2000-4000 mg, 40 times the acceptable level... & the people inside the car will inevitably inhale an excess amount of the toxins. It is recommended that you open the windows and door to give time for the interior to air out before you enter. Benzene is a toxin that affects your kidney and liver, and is very difficult for your body to expel this toxic stuff. hey guys, discovered a cool feature yesterday ( Dunno whether it was mentioned before) .... If I use my key to lock the door , and I hold the key in the 2 o'clock position, any wound down windows will wind up !! Vice versa !! At the same time also tested the safety feature of the window. Put my wallet at the top of the window ; once the window hit the wallet, it will wind back down
