Thinking of exporting my OPC 2004 Toyota Wish. Anyone got any idea how much body value exporter will take in? Below are my details: Mileage about 46000km. Reg 11/2004. Sky Blue colour. With sports rims and bodykit. Paper value: $24500 Could consider of trading in also but not sure how much dealer will take in. So now deciding of trading in or sell to exporter.

This apppears in a Japanese Magazine,from the chinese characters, it tells me that this model will be launch on April 2009 New Valvematic 1.8L or 2.0 L engine will be used.

I think for me, I'd still go for a Japan (JDM) Wish, in spite of it being PI. There are so many on SG roads already, so after sales spare parts will not be an issue. A Tomyam Wish? ..... eerrr I beg to differ, but no thanks. -

A few months ago my father stopped his car at a slope... Left it in Neutral gear and it went down the slope and rammed into the @ss of his company lorry a few meters away.. So now bonnet got one big dent and he intending to get a new one and fix it himself. The front bumper also a bit dented and scratched... Just asking, do any bros here know the best place to get Wish's bonnet and miscellaneous accessories? TIA

Yes I'm the blue Evo behind you as we were turning left from Clementi Road to AYE (towards ECP) together. There are two left-turning lanes. You were on the left lane and I was on the right. I picked up my speed as we were entering the left turn but you chose not to keep to your left lane and decided to sweep into my right lane, almost causing me to knock into your rear. So I gave you a tap on my horn, and then filter friendly to your left rear so as to overtake you on your left. But you na bei jee bye was not happy with my horning you, so you swerved back into my lane and jammed brake. Luckily my Brembos did not fail me as I was just millimeters away from knocking you. Knn then after that you tried to race me off. You Wish (pun intended ). You even tried to pull the same swerving stunt again but too bad I overtook you with a breeze even on my 5th gear. You suck. You are a damn bloody idiot. You have passengers seated all the way to the back seat and you decided that their lives are less important than your foolhardy act. You decided to take the chance for me to ram into your rear and hurt your loved ones. And please bear this in mind: you were wrong in the first place for not keeping to your lane during turning. Or maybe you need my grandma to teach you that? My suggestion to you: 1) Improve you driving skills 2) Switch to normal plate so that you can have more road-time to practise driving 3) Ditch that clumsy Wish of yours, cos your skills made it more spastic 4) Get a faster car. Haha.

http://www.sgcarmart.com/new_cars/auth_car_info.php?AC=974 saw that hyundai has launched the starex, i think its a trajet replacement at 56k for a full sized 2.5l mpv it seems to be awfully cheap it will most probably drink but hey its 20k cheaper than a wish and i doubt you can save 20k difference of fuel in 10 years, cos even toyota mpvs of this size eg estima drinks as well. looks like a reasonable buy for someone in the market for a big mpv.

I was travelling on the 2nd lane along bukit batok road on my way home from work. Tired & hungry & suddenly, this bloody Maroon Wish driver cut right in front me from 1st lane to 2nd lane in between me & the car in front. I wasn't even hogging him & the space between me & the car in front was about 1.5 car length. That woke me up with a jolt & wondering what this f**ker was trying to pull. So, I switched to 1st lane & took a glance at him while driving past. Suddenly he sped up again & cut right in front & played e-brake with me. All the while, he was swerving in/out of his lane as if trying to prevent me from overtaking. Maybe he was trying to show off his driving skills or telling me his Wish very solid. So, I tried to wave him to pull to the side & talk about it & guess what, that gutless sorry excuse for a man sped away even faster. Sigh...got balls to play e-brake but no balls to come out & talk man to man. Guess he ran home to mama for milk. Don't think he is going to be so lucky the next time.

Was talking to my neighbour at the car park and what a shock I receive when I happen to look into his Toyota Wish. He had completely removed his 3rd row seat and convert it into a space for running his home delivery business. I asked him why don't he just buy Honda Airwave or any other model station wagon and his reply was, he likes Wish. Well couldn't convince him, so just have to go along with him since he likes it this way. To those Wish owners, would you convert your Wish into a sation wagon ?

when compared to many places in the world, sillypore's cars are not only very expensive to buy but also to maintain. In USA, cars are both very cheap to buy and maintain eg. LS460 about US$60,000 which is about slightly more than $100K. It would be an illusion if we are to believe car prices will drop so very low there are two choices that can happen in SIllypore 1. Car price dirty cheap (like USA) but the cost of using it on the road is very very high 2. Car price very high and usage cost also very high (current situation) or 3. unconventional move, nobody buy any new car from AD or second hand car from PI for 6 months to 1 year, car prices will be almost free then BUT then there will be SOME kiasu people around that will SPOIL the good plan cant blame anyone why because we are sillyporeans

Hi, I have a question on the wish and need some advice. There is no lighting in my boot area, however, I find that on the right side there is a cover which reveals a wire and a connection when I remove it, presumingly, its for the boot light. Anyone knows where I can get the light accessory for the boot area in the market?
