Hi folks, my protege alarm start emitting strange sounds and when I step on the brake pedal, my auto lock triggers many times like machine guns. Upon, every time I step on my brake, the car alarm will sound. I have replaced my remote control battery liao, but still funny alarm sound.. Pls give me some advice. Thank you

My Aveo reverse sensor cannot detect the kerb which is the height of my mud guard. Even my mud guard nearly touch the kerb already still haven long beep. The tyre hit already also haven long beep. But it can detect bumper lever wall or car. I send back on Monday, but they say its normal. I doubt their words. I think they are lazy to tune or do for me. I felt unfair, they gave me a spoilt reverse sensor and tell me craps that reverse sensor only can detect bumper lever and not kerbs. I got many frens having Picanto and other car, all can detetc kerb, only mine cannot. Got reverse sensor like dont have like that....how? Any aveo ower experience the same problem with the reverse sensor they gave?

To all VAG owners driving 1.6 engines with the variable intake thingy: How do you chck that the system is actually working? On mine, I can only play around with the throttle when the bonnet is up but I don't see the variable intake linkage moving at all. And that linkage is not stuck or seized as I can move it about. Well do another check some other time but if anyone can point out the right way, much appreciated.
