Hi all, I'm contemplating purchasing a Mazda 5. Would anyone have any idea if there are any workshops which would be able to disable the front passenger airbag? I've checked thoroughly with Mazda and they claim not to be able to do this in-house. This seems odd to me cos I had no problem at all getting the Ford guys to do the same thing to my current Focus II. Warranty was not voided either. The background to this is that I'm intending to get an MPV for my growing family (third child on the way). Yes, I understand that there is always the option of leaving all child seats in the rear and centre rows, but I think I will at times be placing my eldest (4.5 years old) in front with me. Other than the Mazda 5, there are others (Renault G Scenic, Citroen G Picasso) which will allow me to disable the airbag manually, but these cost significantly more than the 5. Any help on this would be much appreciated.

Any workshops around Jalan Besar/KK Hospital area?

My centralised lock just broken down, cant wind down the power windows too. Any recommendation for workshop ard J. Besar or KKH area? An electrician at a ICE shop have fixed this problem for me, but this time the problem seems bigger. Dun wanna go back to him as his rates is high. And recommendations from the bros? Thanks -

Hi all Planning to bleed and change my brake fluid (it has expired), any good workshops to recommend? Gathered that air will "slipped" into the lines if bleeding is not done properly, so i'm looking for workshops that is good at brakes system. Wat's the cost like?

As with cars , it is normal to service them elsewhere instead of going back to agents after the warranty expires. so what about diesel vans ? just asking

Hi, I would like to check if any VAG owners here send their cars to other workshops other than Servotronics? I'm driving the Skoda Fabia and the engine oil pressure sensor is faulty, Dennis has ordered for me but it's taking too long for the supplier to bring it in, it's been 2 months I think, first batch that came in had a different serial number.... so got to wait again I just don't want to go into any workshop that's not savvy with Skoda, so just want to hear from experienced members here....heard Chip Soon Auto in Tampines got a mechanic that can fix Skoda, anyone has experience with them? Last went to their workshop 4 years ago with a Jap car, not too bad, quite ok...pricing standard for servicing as well... Appreciate any info, especially workshops in the East. I'll probably have to go with Dennis since part has been ordered for this one, quite a nice chap, not too mention decent prices , but just need an alternative workshop... Have a nice day!
