@kobayashiGT I am actually more excited by this version, than the China Civic with a different badge. Hopefully it will be a big success in the US and eventually wear a Honda badge for the rest of the world. Acura announced that the upcoming Integra will have a “sleek five-door design” in a new teaser. The company said it will reveal more details closer to its debut in 2022. Along with the description of the car, it released an image of the sporty compact bathed in heavy shadows along with a short video of an engine revving. It also showed us an image of the 1986 Integra RS 5-Door, which helped launch the popular model line. (And this is the Integra in my memory, something unlike any others during that era) Acura was previously coy about revealing any details on the shape of the new Integra, giving media a firm “no comment” whenever asked. When it announced the model’s return in August, the automaker referred to it as a “compact premium car” and revealed a liftback body style via a drone demonstration. “The Integra is back,” vice president and Acura Brand Officer Jon Ikeda said in a statement in August. “I’m thrilled to say Integra is returning to the Acura lineup with the same fun-to-drive spirit and DNA of the original, fulfilling our commitment to Precision Crafted Performance in every way – design, performance, and the overall driving experience.”

It was back in August when Acura confirmed the surprising return of the "Integra" moniker, but parent company Honda is actually the first to revive the fabled moniker for a production car. Meet the confusingly named 2022 Honda Integra, a Chinese compact sedan molded after the eleventh-generation Civic. Coming from the Guangqi Honda joint venture in the People's Republic, the Integra will be assembled in Guangzhou whereas the Civic upon which is based comes from the factory in Wuhan (yes, that Wuhan) belonging to the Dongfeng Honda joint venture. The two flavors are largely identical, but the new Acura version does look sleeker courtesy of its slimmer matrix LED headlights flanking a slightly larger grille with a honeycomb pattern. The changes continue at the back where the LED taillights adopt a sharper look and occupy less space on the tailgate. Dual exhaust tips and a subtle trunk lid spoiler contribute to the Honda Integra's youthful appearance, as does the faux diffuser bisected by the built-in fog light. Fresh colors like Emerald Blue and Fiery Yellow separate it from the regular Civic, and there are new wheel designs up to 18 inches in size. There are no interior images at the moment of writing, but we're expecting the cabin to be essentially carried over from the Civic. The engines are also a mystery for now, although the "240 Turbo" badge on the trunk lid indicates the car has 240 Nm (177 lb-ft), which is exactly what the 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine develops in the Civic where it sends 180 hp to the front wheels via a CVT. The CN-spec Integra gets a six-speed manual, much like the Civic Hatchback. -

To understand just how desirable this fellow is nowadays, let’s just say that a 1997 model has recently sold at auction for $65,000 at no reserve. By comparison, the original window sticker read $24,000 ($40,630 after adjusting for inflation). A huge fan of the Integra Type R, industrial designer Jordan Rubinstein-Towler has taken upon himself to imagine the DC2 for the 2022 model year. The bite-the-back-of-your-hand beautiful rendering is complemented by a 2.4-liter Earth Dreams i-VTEC powerplant, and in the pixel wizard’s vision, the four-pot motor develops 276 horsepower at 8,600 rotations per minute. Pictured on Enkei forged wheels and Bridgestone Potenza semi-slick rubber, the design study is reassuringly minimalistic on the inside. There’s no centrally-mounted touchscreen to distract you from the driving experience, and instead of a fast-shifting DCT, the center console is where you’ll find a close-ratio manual with a billet-looking shifter and six ratios. Don’t get your hopes up for a brand-new Integra Type R, though. Honda is currently working on a compact sedan the size of the ILX, and a Type S performance-oriented variant is coming as well according to a dealership meeting from 2020. Be that as it may, the all-new Civic Type R is more than enough for Honda because go-faster compacts don’t sell well these days.

Hi bros, I am thinking of getting an integra ...which only second hands are available.....but i am not someone who likes second hand stuff but i really like the integra...and as this will be my first car...i am a bit apprehensive... should i go ahead and get it cos i really like the car? or shld i get a brand new car with tat $65k price tag ($62k to $69k as per the sgcarmart) ...? wat are the things to look out for when getting a second car? any bros got experience in getting second hand cars? and any bros got himself a second-hand Integra? can share ur opinions? or experiences?

Hi Bros out there, My Integra is going KM for 80k servicing. Intend to change my standard plugs to NGK Iridium plugs but not sure which is the correct type. Can anyone here advise? Heard should be iri6 but not sure if the IX can be used. My ride is fully stock. TIA.

SFX3XXXC. (DO NOT POST VEHICLE NUMBER. MOD) Totally very dangerous and selfish driving. Without due care to other road user. Very yaya driver. Even after I stopped beside her to show her my displeasure,she dare not look into my eyes. Perhaps she knew her mistake,but the least into show a sorry face or sign mah. Instead she just look at her steering wheel, while wearing her sunglasses. Yes wearing sunglasses in the morning where there isn't sun yet.no wonder she is blind to my car just beside her. I am a nice man So I just let it be, need to send someone to office. Spoil my morning casual drive.

BF was sending GF home in his sports car and drove into a hole, causing the car to lose control and skid. The car went over the road divider and got hit by a taxi coming in the opposite direction. Apparently the girl was flung out of the car by the impact. At the risk of being flamed, I will say the guy must have been speeding. Such a big hole also never see

Was in the car coming home from car ride in town. My dad was driving and about to exit CTE Amk Ave 1 Suddenly this Black fierce E class zoomed past me. Quite modded and fast. Then 2 Secs later this Honda Integra was following behind super closely. First thought was that they were racing. cause E Class was very fierce. Suddenly, don't know for what reason the Integra just swerved left and i think wanted to overtake the E class. E class was already doing close to 100km/h i guess. Integra LITERALLY swerved to the left, and I think he swerved too much. He ended up doing up a S shaped drift and i heard EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE tyre burn. OMG. Following the S shape drift was a 360 deg turn and then..... BUANG the side barrier. whole car direction changed and was facing us. All these happened in 5 split seconds. My father just jammed on the brakes as we were the 2nd car. In front of us was this Sonata Taxi ( since taxi's can jam brake smoothly, we came to a stop kinda smoothly too. LOL) Then drove past the integra slowly. The guy was shaken. E class just stopped 50m further front and came down with the SUPER DUPER ANGRY face. Omg i guess road rage gonna happen. My dad just drove off and then came the yakkings from him about road safety and the obvious need NOT to tailgate and get angry. Just relating a accident that really stirred me. Now i know the dangers and consequences of speeding. Bros, Speeed thrills but KILLS. (: Cheers! ( goes off to sleep with the image of integra doing 360 deg turn and eeeeeeeeeeking the tyres) Anyone saw this?

In all my 20years plus of driving, i couldn't believe wat happened yesterday. Time was about 610pm, AYE towards Tuas. Being peak hours, traffic was heavy. Vehicles were more or less bumper to bumper but still moving at around 20 to 30kmh, i.e. not a traffic jam. I was in lane 1 and suddenly out of nowhere this black Honda Integra SFV 5768Z drive past me so fast IN BETWEEN lanes 1 and 2, i.e. like a motorcycle!! I dun know how far back he started this and how far ahead he continued this cos after the next 5 or 6 cars i can't see him already. Reading it from here, it may not sound like much but if you were there, keeping in lane making your way patiently through traffic and suddenly this car just speed by you in between 2 rows of vehicles is really shocking. If that idiot is reading this - better wake up ur idea!! -
Today at around 9am at Simei Ave leading to Tampines Ave 2.. I was turning from Changi south lane to simei avenue and see the road so clear ahead and on my right side junction seems that the traffic was turning green still have ample time for me keep in the lane ahead of the traffic.. As I was turning in with signal on.. seen this red integra SCY 157.. on my side mirror closing in so fast followed by white swift sport tailing..trying to swerved back but he was so close to my side and cut in front of me..saw him cuts everbody's path in front dont know why whether he late for work maybe..or need to go the toilet urgently.. Met him again at the SAFRA traffic light with hands out and lighted cig. on his finger staring at me continuosly(sorry to disturb u on your test run)..he turn in to the industrial park and I went straight to 800+ Tampines housing estates(was behind Avante MCF 827..event not related just coincidence).. To this Integra driver if u want to race or test pick up this stretch of road is not for u as I have seen numerous accidents and even death before they change the traffic light timing there..I know Changi General Hospital is nearby..Is not Karma just fed up as u stared at me..

OK here was I travelling past Dairy Farm along Bt Timah Rd just before the dread ERP gantry. This Integra, white, CF black hood was huffing and puffing away on my left. I was talking to my wife over some matters. In front of me was this MB. Then out of no reason I heard this light "thump" and the car lost control abruptly! DOWNSHIFT! STEADY THE STEERING WHEEL! and then I blasted my horn loud and long. The MB sped away as fast as he can. I can see from the mirrors was the Integra. I was waving my hand wildly. The young, may I say young man again waved back "sorry". Yes, my whole family is in the car. He as on my left and I can hear the car grunting and huffing and puffing. My wife asked if he was blur in driving. BLUR? I replied? More like youthful hormones in action. I didn't even bother to stop the car. I knew the damage was light. But I got down his number just in case. Now got to report to insurer even though I'm not pursuing anything. Reached my destination and found scratches on the left corner of my bumper. Now I know how being PIT feels like.

Hi guys, just wanna have a opinion on the above subject? If given a choice on either car, which on would u prefer? I'm actually in a dilemma right now for selection of either of this car. First, this is going to be my 2nd car so I don't really care about passengers. Secondly, I'm not intending to get brand new as I know that new car owners suffer big time on depreciation. I like both car, but can't possibly go for both....Coupe is nice, and especially the sporty feel. Civic is also good as well with higher BHP i think as well...I like to hear from the forum, the more the merrier for my evaluation. For some who have known me, I used to drive an EK4.....

Dear MCFers , I understand Honda launched Integra Type R first follow by GSR. Are honda testing our intelligence by naming it Type S ? Or is Honda launching this variant back then for a totally different market ? Just to clarify, I am referring to DC5R or DC5S, the last model of the the Integra series. Please share your views !

Engine stalled on me while reversing and I rammed my Integra's butt into the wall. As a result, paint chipped off and alignment was shifted. Any good place to repair this? Would I need a NEW bumper? (I seriously hope not) Dun wanna go to Kah Motor to repair as I know it will cost a bomb. Any good outside shops that have my paint? Pearl White I think...
