As above... For me, it just cant be asian brands somehow, except Lexus. The quality of the finishing of most asian made cars are just boring, filled with cheap plastic. They do try to spice things up here and there. But most of them really look cheaply made. In fact some new models look real cheaply made in the interior, whatsmore when it's 8,9,10yrs old. But this is just me. I love the Lexus, certain mercs and present Jaguar range. So qn is, what can one do to improve the love for one's car and have less of an itch to change it after 3-5yrs. Here are some of my ideas: - Change the leather to a significantly good quality one with customised design - Fresh coat of paint or do wrap I'm not into zhng car. So not really into adding muffler or performance enhancers. Pls share!

1) Expectation 80city/20 highway - 10km/L (Constantly accessing ~3k rpm) 2) with 2 child seats at the rear, can fit a 70-75kg adult in-between fairly comfortably 3) Max torque acheived =< 4k rpm. 4) rear leg room important. As I extend driver seat quite far back 5) easily available and affordable spare parts. 6) Point A to Pt B driving. 7) Cold Efficient air-con. PS : I cant afford an Altis nor a VTI, Sushi pls. Thanks in Advance.

Hey bros or sis, would like to know how does it really work? According to LTA website: More than 10 years old, 10% of road tax More than 11 years old, 20% of road tax More than 12 years old, 30% of road tax More than 13 years old, 40% of road tax More than 14 years old, 50% of road tax So am I right to assume that 15yrs = 60% of road tax? Or anything after 14yrs old will always be capped at 50% Thanks in advance for all replies

Hi, am keen to buy a 2nd property re-sale EC which is above 5 yrs but below 10 yrs...anyone knew if it's allowed? Saw below 'Policies-Conditions after Purchase' in HDB website which state must sell HDB...but don't know if it is referring to new EC purchase... Policies - Conditions After Purchase Selling of current HDB / DBSS flat in the open market If you currently own an HDB / DBSS flat, you and/or your spouse must dispose of the flat within 6 months from the date of issuance of the Temporary Occupation Permit in respect of the Executive Condominium (EC). If you intend to apply to purchase an EC where the Temporary Occupation Permit for the EC has been issued, you will be required to dispose of your existing HDB / DBSS flat within 6 months from the date the Developer serves the Notice of Vacant Possession on you.

Everyone knows that you only live once right. And that seeing how expensive it is to own & maintain a car in S'pore, do you:- 1) opt to be practical & drive it till end of it's lifespan 2) change car every few yrs 3) go for the one car that will inspire you to drive till end of it's lifespan I will share my experiences. For me, 1st car was a COE car & it was sold it away as the maintenance costs was very high due to regular changing of parts every 3mths. 2nd car was a used car & we sold it away as no use for it anymore. 3rd car is a new car & coming next yr would be 3yrs old. Will probably be practical & install wallpaper of dream car on pc instead cos the ride I would love to drive till end of it's lifespan is way over-budget. Not only that, it is impractical to own it in S'pore as our roads are so well-paved. Can I hear from those who hv managed to own a car for 10yrs and those who change cars on a regular basis? And those who bought their dreamcar (if such things do happen) and do not hv intention to change at all. Even if change, will probably get back the same model.

Does this means that the cars OMV will be lower in a few months time? Means cheaper cars?
