  1. I created this thread just for the BMW 3 series, many threads were opened on variants of 3 series but I thought be great to have one just for the 3 Series variants. Ever since I had a E46 I have always loved the 3 series more than any car I owned. This video sums up what this model is all about, practical, well balance, well sized sports saloon. I'll do a write-up on a ride soon enough. Hope other owners do the same. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ildXLLfm23o
  2. Finally, a respite from the SUV assault. And what a break! In our latest video review, we test the latest G20 BMW 3 series! As it turns out, the car comes with BMW's latest Comfort Access 2.0, and, as you can clearly see from the pictures, it leaves both out hosts mighty pleased! (What kids 🤪) On the interior, the car also sports Julian's favorite feature... a remote charging point! We test boot space with our patented aunty trolly... and it seems like something has Julian troubled? But of course, the whole point of the 3 series is its sporty and eng
  3. Lexus hit the right note with the GS, and the IS here is no exception. Of course, the Japanese marque didn't come all the way without a mission, and that is to topple the highly regarded 3 Series off the throne. With help from the BMW M division, the current 3 Series (codenamed F30) wears an M Sport kit to muscle up its already stout appearance while the Lexus IS' visual drama is further accentuated with the F Sport body kit, which sees it put on a more pronounced front lips and bigger, nicer looking rims. The F30's interior is unmistakably bimmer, carrying the usual hues from the
  4. BMW Asia together with the local distributors of the German marque - Performance Motors Limited (PML) - locally launched the all new 3 Series Gran Turismo (GT) last week. The car is a looker, it has typical BMW dimensions and trademark design characteristics that does not fall from the existing 3 Series family. BMW claims, the 3 Series GT combines the Sedan's dynamic, sporting genes with the practicality and versatility of the Touring body style. Personally, I think the car suffers from severe personality disorder(s). I have nothing against the car or the potential buye
  5. [extract] The BMW 3 series is a remarkable and highly successful car line that dates back to the legendary BMW 2002. While the current F-30 3 series, in its sixth generation, looks largely different to the 2002 or the E21 3 series, a tuning company in Hungary decided to pay homage to the E30, which celebrates its 30th birthday this year. TMCars design have conceived a body kit that could modernize any existing E30 stock car that is stylish enough for the
  6. [extract] The BMW Group has achieved its best ever first quarter in worldwide sales on the back of March
  7. [extract] Recently, Ford introduced the 1.0L Ecoboost 3-cylinder engine in the Ford Focus. If you are surprised at how a 3-cylinder lump can power a car the size of a Focus, you may fall off the chair to learn that the new BMW 3 Series could get 3-cylinder engines in the next couple of years according to BMW

  9. The king of compact luxury sedan is set to be reborn in about 2 years' time. Expect exceptional aerodynamics with a Cd figure of around 0.24. Turbocharged units will be in full circulation at BMW by the time the new 3 Series hits the streets. We may see a 1.5L three-cylinder petrol turbo engine delivering about 150hp (112kW) while their diesel counterparts are likely to offer around 300Nm of torque. The 8-speed automatic gearbox that makes its debut in the 7 Series will find its way into the upcoming 3 series. My personal opinion is that BMW is making a wise move to downsize the engine ca
  10. When the latest BMW 5 series dropped its cover in recent months, everyone was raving about how it looks much better than the previous model, how its better equipped, more fuel efficient and the list goes on. However, that's just the beginning. Because this is what the new 3 series will probably look like, and I must say, it looks pretty good. Underneath the bold, masculine lines along the side panels and that aggressive looking hood which kind of reminds me of the previous 5 series, lies a whole range of new engines and more efficient 3 cylinder units. The cabin even has integrated wifi!
