Hi All, I did like to find out if anyone have used before cxxxxxe engine oil. I know it is lowly price and as the saying goes good things not cheap and cheap things not good. However i believe there are quite a number of people using them and if it's really lousy i think carefour wont want to bring in to tanish their name. Just like to know if anyone have any experience with the oil on a turbo engine?? I am thinking of using it for say another 7,500 km only after which i will need to do a oil change. Any opinions or feedbacks?

Saw this oil at Autobacs, ~$80 for 5 litres meets VW 503.01, 502.00, 505.00 can this oil be used on the 1.8T for 15,000km OCI since it meets the VW specs?

Hi, Recently heard about this good & cheap engine oil named cxxxxxe. Never heard of it. Was using Mobil 1 for my ex-car. Now using Shell Helix Ultra. Can someone enlighten me? Is it better than Shell in terms of price & performance? How much is it? Where can I buy it? Thanks!

It is finally here! See the attached .pdf file! Only if you are really interested, I can PM you Terry's comments. He doesn't want it public. My personal comments. TBN is at 5.0 and this is oil is sampled at 8k. So it does have some life left. It looks a little better than the one by the Corolla. This could be due to my mild driving style I strive for. I would say, it can last 10k if you are a pretty mild driver. If the Corolla driver is a mild driver, I must say the 1ZZ-FE engine is pretty hard on oil . The oil still sheared down from a 40wt. 40wt should be 12.5 to 16.5 Cst. Should work well for the 1.4L DOHC Aveo engines up to 10k. Up to 12k if you dare. Still pretty good for a cheap oil. Go get it if you drive a similar engined Aveo like me. Disclaimer: This UOA is the wear analysis for my car which is a 1.4L DOHC Aveo. It is a result of my driving style as well. i bought the SJ instead of SL a few mths ago. going for 20K servicing soon. does it have any sluggish effect on the car? thanks

As above.Just saw the CLTR API SL on sale at carrefour P.Singapura. It is retailing at SGD39.90 though BTW ,it is mix together with the previous SJ bottle ,so open your eye big big before you make the purchase.

Just eyeball the CLTR 5w40 with a 5L API SJ and ACEA A3 rating is back with the price of $29.90.I think it's the old stock. The mobil 5w30 is now retailing at $55.20 for a box of 6quart.1 bottle is $9.20. Instead of the previous $69.90 -
It is in the Maintenance folder. Check it out. Can use up to 10k if you drive like me. Applicable to 1.4L DOHC engines.

The cxxxxxe 5w40 engine oil is going at $29.90 for yesterday and today only (25/7) at Carrefour Plaza Sing. Not sure if the same offer is avail at Suntec anot.

For all the Chevy kiasu cheapos out there. The oil is a 40wt oil. Confirm in line with the manual. Costs only $35.90 for 5L! Grab it from Giant quickly. Very little left. Also teach you all to watch the other folders in MCF and not just here for Chevy news. There are lots of kangtaos floating in the forums. Rated SJ and CF. Confirm can use. ACEA A3 and B3 rated. Dunno which year. If A3(2002), damn worth it man! They advertize on the bottle that it will stay in grade. So it could be A3(2002).

Synthetic engine oil cxxxxxe 5W-40 for $35.90 for 5l IMO very cheap with the rating of ACEA A3 good buy indeed. Just want to share info. Me buy one eventhough servicing not near cannot resist such offer. Anyway any other offer can beat this bargain..do share?
