  3. https://www.asiaone.com/singapore/footage-50000-home-cameras-hacked-and-sold-porn-sites?utm_source=whatsapp&utm_medium=social-media&utm_campaign=addtoany Security cameras in Singapore homes have been hacked, with the footage stolen and shared online. Clips from the hacked footage have been uploaded on pornographic sites recently, with several explicitly tagged as being from Singapore. The videos, which can last from under a minute to more than 20 minutes, feature couples, breastfeeding mothers and even children. Most of them are in various states of undress or compromising positions. Many faces can be clearly seen in locations such as the living room and bedrooms. Some are seen using the toilet with the door ajar.
  4. Mediacorp version of “安心偷情”? They say the conversation was done in jest. Ian Fang and Carrie Wong have been sliding into each other’s DMs. Screengrabs of a private Instagram conversation between the two stars have been leaked and its contents, which contain coarse language and sexual innuendos, are eye-opening, to say the least. (Scroll down to read the DMs.) It is not known who leaked the messages but both stars have confirmed the veracity of the conversation, which we hear happened in February. What makes this news shocking is that Carrie just went public with her relationship with her Taiwanese beau Boris Lin on Valentine’s Day in February while Ian has long been rumoured to be dating Rebecca Lim. Carrie and Ian, who say they are not in a relationship with each other, have each released statements in which they clarify that what transpired between the two of them was written in jest and so should not be taken seriously. Ian wrote: “With regards to a private conversation between me and my good friend Carrie Wong that’s been circulating online, I’m very shocked. For this, I want to apologise to everyone for my inappropriate behaviour. Carrie and I are such good friends that there is nothing we can’t say to each other. I admit that the language we used was vulgar and inappropriate and I apologise for that. I also feel bad for those who have read the messages. As a public figure, I will pay more attention to my actions in the future." In her statement, Carrie said: “Ian and I have been good friends for many years, and we don’t put too much thought into what we say to each other. The indecent language we used in our private conversation has caused a lot of unnecessary worry and hurt to everyone, and I’m deeply regretful for causing that. I’ve been reflecting a lot on my actions after the incident and I take responsibility for my inappropriate language. I am also grateful to my boyfriend for his trust and I want to offer my deepest apologies to everyone.” Ivy Low, head of Mediacorp’s The Celebrity Agency, has also a released a statement: “The conversation, as we understand it, was a private exchange conducted in jest. However, it was distasteful and inappropriate. The parties involved are deeply embarrassed and have no doubt, taken away many lessons from this unfortunate incident. We expect our artistes, being public figures, to conduct themselves professionally and appropriately at all times.” Scroll down to read some of the DMs which 8days.sg has translated into English. DM 1/4 Carrie: “Hahaha” Carrie: “I’ll miss it.” Carrie: “Are you going to give it?” Ian: “If I didn’t want anything I wouldn’t disturb you.” Ian: “Silly or not?” Ian: “It’s so comfortable sleeping with you.” Ian: “Can doze off so easily.” Ian: “Hahahahahaha” Carrie: “Really…” Carrie: “Falling asleep fast…” Carrie: “Doesn’t take more than one… (the message is blocked)” Ian: “I’m looking forward to the next time.” Carrie: “You can at least… (the message is blocked)” Ian: “Oh” DM 2/4 Carrie: “You gave me such a cute teeheee.” Carrie: “I can only smile to myself.” Ian: “Damn.” Ian: “What are you doing now?” Carrie: “I’ve got a meeting tomorrow, and a lot of other stuff.” Carrie: “I still haven’t received [the scripts] to 10 episodes.” Ian: “So busy.” Ian: “What time will you reach the office tomorrow?” Ian: “If there’s fate, let’s ****.” Ian: “I mean let’s kiss.” Ian: “Hahahahahahahah.” Carrie: “10am meeting, I’ll probably reach at 9am.” DM 3/4 Carrie: “In what way do you mean?” Ian: “Spiritually, physically.” Carrie: “I can spiritually haha. Carrie: “I’ve had to bear with it for so many years.” Ian: “What about physically?” Carrie: “Please don’t leave a bruise.” Ian: “Haha, you little idiot.” Ian: “I’ll try.” Ian: “I plant more strawberries.” (‘Strawberries’ is Taiwanese slang for ‘lovebites’.) Carrie: “If you cause me pain again, I will really bite you back.” DM 4/4 Ian: “Of course you have much better qualities than she does, the last time I was talking to her, I was thinking to myself, how much I missed you. So… that’s four years ago.” Carrie: “You have so many times. I don’t know which time” Carrie: “Oh god.” Carrie: “Before I could read the full message, I only saw, “Of course you have much better qualities than she does, she and I have….” Ian: “Hahahahahahahahaha” Ian: “Stupid or what.” Carrie: “I’m only stupid when I’m with you.” Ian: “My god. Then it means I’m causing you harm. Such an outstanding, pretty girl.” Carrie: “The most outstanding and the prettiest.” Carrie: “Hahahahahaha” Carrie: “Good that you know that.”
  5. Here's a first look at the next-generation BMW M135i. Leaked by Bimmerfile, the new 1 Series has been spotted in the range-topping M135i guise. Looking pretty much production-ready, the BMW M135i also wears a xDrive badge, confirming that the car will have an all-wheel drive system. However, lesser variants of the 1 series will be using a front-wheel driven version of BMW’s FAAR architecture. M135i xDrive seen here will likely be powered the same turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine as found in the X2 M35i, making around 302bhp and 450Nm of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission is also expected to be the only option while the chassis will feature a limited-slip differential on the front axle. It is unknown when the car will be launched but a reveal at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September is possible.
  6. Here is a sneak peek at Hyundai's latest and smallest crossover model, the Venue. The car is set to debut at the New York Auto Show soon. Seen on Carscoops, the new Hyundai was thought to a special model marketed for Asean markets but is now believed to be available for Europe and U.S. markets too. Looking similar to the Santa Fe, the car spots a 'Turbo' logo at the back suggesting that it might be using the 1.0 turbo three from the Kona. It is expected to be paired with a dual-clutch automatic transmission. The new Venue is supposed to be position under the Kona as brand’s smallest crossover and will likely be available in front-wheel drive guise only.

  8. SINGAPORE: The HIV-positive status of 14,200 people – and confidential information such as their identification numbers and contact details – has been leaked online, the Ministry of Health (MOH) said on Monday (Jan 28). The records were those of 5,400 Singaporeans diagnosed with HIV up to January 2013 and 8,800 foreigners, including work and visit pass applicants and holders, diagnosed with HIV up to December 2011. The leaked information included their names, identification numbers, phone numbers, addresses, HIV test results and medical information. The details of another 2,400 of their contacts – identified through contact tracing – up to May 2007 were also leaked, MOH said in a press release. The HIV Registry contains information on individuals diagnosed with HIV, a notifiable disease under the Infectious Diseases Act. The ministry said it uses the registry to monitor the HIV infection situation, conduct contact tracing and assess disease prevention and management measures. The information is in the possession of an “unauthorised person” – Mikhy K Farrera Brochez, a US citizen in Singapore. Brochez was deported from Singapore in April 2018, after he was convicted of fraud and drug-related offences and sentenced to 28 months’ jail. “While access to the confidential information has been disabled, it is still in the possession of the unauthorised person, and could still be publicly disclosed in the future,” MOH said. “We are working with relevant parties to scan the Internet for signs of further disclosure of the information. “We are sorry for the anxiety and distress caused by this incident. Our priority is the well-being of the affected individuals,” the ministry added. “We appeal to members of the public to notify MOH immediately should they come across information related to this incident, and not further share it.” Read more at https://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/singapore/hiv-positive-records-leaked-online-singapore-mikhy-brochez-11175718
  9. An anonymous source has e-mailed what appears to be a digital press kit produced by Lexus for next week's Geneva Motor Show. The pages of the kit reveal photos and details of the Lexus CT 200h five-door hybrid, set for a debut at the Geneva event. The full hybrid is based on the LF-Ch concept shown at the Frankfurt show in 2009. It features a 1.8-liter four-cylinder VVT-i petrol engine and a magnet synchronous electric motor. The company has not published performance details, but they do say that the motor is "powerful." Nickel-metal hydride is used for the high voltage battery. Power is sent to the front wheels via a electrically-controlled contiuously variable transmission, or E-CVT for short. The car remains a sleek five-door, just like the concept. It has sporty overhangs at the front and back, and a well-placed rear spoiler. The car looks to have LED rear lighting. At 4,320mm long, the car is 140mm shorter than the Toyota Prius. The Lexus is 1,765mm wide by 1,430mm high; 20mm x 50mm less than the Prius. It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels, and features McPherson/front- and double wishbone rear suspension. Lexus wants to use this car to prove that full hybrids do not have to be boring drives. They claim the car has "superior handling agility" to suit their customers' wishes, and three driving modes (Eco, Normal, and Sport) to adjust to different situations. Again, Lexus remained vague about sprint times, overtake ability, and top speed. Hopefully, these details and more will be released at the Geneva Motor Show. The leaked information also reveals data about Lexus LFA sales orders which states allocation will be fixed in April, while individual orders will be confirmed to customers in May. Demand has surpassed the announced 500 units set to be produced.

  13. Something I found off the internet; http://www.autoblog.com/2013/05/09/2014-to...d/#aol-comments Looks like their engines will be here to stay for a long time!!! Although the interior will probably look the same as the JDM model; http://toyota.jp/corollaaxio/002_p_002/int...ront/index.html Judging from the Yaris, Auris and Rav4 interior design, this is credible.

  18. Guys, I need some advise. I have a 15yr old Caterpillar V8 diesel engine attached to drive a sea water pump unit. Operating at 1500 rpm only. Last week, found that engine oil surged out through dip stick after 20 mins run and EO temp also increased to 110 deg from the normal 85-90deg C. I have ordered a replacement dipstick as the plastic wedge with O ring at the dip stick was missing. Could this be the reason for EO to leak out?
  19. It will be slightly just over a month to go before Toyota shows the world (at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show) its new sports car, the FT-86 and images of it has already leaked on the internet.
