  1. Time/place: Peak hours after work on MRT trains Crowded like sartine pack.... a mother and her toddler girl (just learned how to walk, i figured) stumbled into the train and little girl half walked half 'rolled' looking for a space to stand (let alone a seat). Mother was trying to 'steady' the girl, herself swing like a yoyo... two xmms nearby. one of them imeliatly stood up and offered her seat to mother/toddler. toddler quite short, struggled (with mother's help) just to get up the seat... finally got up, but tumbled again and again... all the while, 2nd xmm kept playing with her two smart phones, as if nothing was going on right next to her.... she just kept going with sms/whatsapps and whatnots... totally immersed and didnt care what's going on, including the tumbling toddler right next to her, on her left!! old man sitting next to smartphone-xmm (on her right) buay ta han, gave up his seat to the mother... but smartphone-xmm still glued to her phones..... now mother and toddler were split by smartph-xmm..... finally, i tss tss loud to this xmm... she looked up at me blankly.... i gestured her "move over, let mother/toddler sit together".... she LL reluctantly shift her butts and followed was she having a big quarrel on the phones with bf? or busy sending valentine msgs using two phones to ALL her bfs??
  2. I read with interest as to the comments in the newspaper about kids and youngsters are getting more violent nowdays.....testing the laws and having a joke out of life itself. On closer examination, almost everyone would say it is due to their upbringing. But if you were to look at just the youngster yourself, without knowing who are their parents, you'll notice the streak of the youngster being arrogant and with a sign of rebelluious attitude of such.. Knowing things which they should not do or say ..they'll twist things around to make a joke out of it.....until the very thing hits them. Then they cry mama cry father to get support for their wrong doing. Which in a way does justice, since it was their mama and father which has caused the issue to be what it is , that they are having to deal with it. The only innocent party ( not always the case) is the one having to suffer just becos of the actions of such youngsters. Those parents with youngsters and those youngsters themselves ( aged 0 to infinity) do give a thought about this.
  3. Recently I met my cousins, who are in their mid teens. It was a big family outing, so I had to text my cousins to let them know where are we meeting etc. My replies i get are garbage for eg: "moi ish on moi way riao. sowwy eveybutties who ish waitng for moi. chui noe i don rike to rush de." Is it me or they talk like that now???
  4. I was traveling at 100km/h along PIE towards Jurong at about 12pm today on lane 1, it was somewhere outside Tampines area then suddenly one Subaru Legacy tailgate me closely. The speed limit for that stretch is 90km/h, it was after the bend area which is 80km/h so I did not give way to him as there are no cars on Lane 2 so he can just overtake me if he wants to speed or travel above speed limit. I don't think I am wrong not to give way to him unless I am traveling below speed limit on Lane 1. He overtake me after tailgating me for some distance and he stare at me when he was beside my car on Lane 2. After he overtake me and really speed up above the speed limit for a distance, I still get to see his car in front of me somewhere near Eunos exit area, I was like laughing at him that he chiong so fast but still in front of me after a while. He then suddenly exit out of Lane 1 and chiong towards Paya Lebar exit, my friend sitting beside me told me that he stare at me and he has a girlfriend beside him. Kind of childish to show off how fast his car can be to his girlfriend and not think about the safety instead. Guess we have to stay clear of the drivers who drive Subaru as most of them are youngster and they drive recklessly. Sorry to say that most of them are Ah Beng, just my opinion.
