Darth Vader (a Mitsubishi lorry driver) was seen in Bukit Batok Block 435 on 29 April around 11pm putting on an entertaining show while trying to reverse. However, a taxi was blocking the Sith lord’s way, inciting an extremely loud horn that was clearly audible many metres above the event taking place. Instead of a Force choke, Darth Vader begins to reverse. This causes The Imperial March to start blaring from the loudspeakers as he backs out of the road. As Lord Vader makes steady progress, his voice emanated over the soundtrack and began swearing at the driver of the blue taxi. How loud were these speakers sia. Online chatter If this was a publicity stunt by whatever company the driver is under, props to the marketing team. Many people had something to laugh about, such as Vader sounding Chinese, swearing and of course, “your mother”. I can only imagine how it feels like to do a burnout. To have all that power sent straight to the wheels, to hear your tortured tires screaming, to smell the smoke before you go full send and are thrown back into your seat as the lights go green. This GetGo driver can join me and keep imagining too. What happened? On March 20, at Bedok North Avenue 3, a GetGo car was beginning to move forward after a green light when its handbrake engaged. However, the driver continued to move and was even in the process of turning left while his rear tyres were locked up. This is even more confusing when you realise that the sound the rear tyres made would be even louder for the driver, as the audio recorded was from a cam car. Not to mention the feedback from having 2 immobile wheels. And bro was still driving?? A kind police officer followed the GetGo car and pulled him over to help with his issue. Online chatter Most people were criticising the driver and his skill issue. To be fair, I think it’s warranted. This one even if he cannot hear anything, confirm still can feel right? Others had a laugh. Also warranted. First of all, let's define the term 'Karen'. According to Wikipedia, 'Karen' is defined as: Watch this video to catch Singapore's very own Karen and her husband in action: What Happened? This incident occurred at Red Swastika School, supposedly one of Singapore's "branded" Primary schools. Two security officers attempted to stop a Bentley from entering the school as it did not have a valid vehicle label. Unhappy at how the Bentley was refused access into the school, the female passenger of the Bentley pulled the most basic 'Karen' move ever. She immediately got out of the car and whipped out her phone to film the school's front gate and two security officers. Moments later, she hopped back into the passenger seat of the Bentley. And this was when matters escalated. The Bentley driver, supposedly the husband of 'Karen', started driving the car into the school in an attempt to get both security officers out of the way. However, the security officer in the luminous green vest stood firm in front of the Bentley to prevent it from entering the school, risking his life in the process. This caused the security officer to stumble back a few steps before the Bentley came to a halt. Subsequently, the security officer could be seen bending down and holding his knees in discomfort. Not Caught On Film After the entire escapade, a staff from Red Swastika School granted access to the Bentley for it to enter the school. Later on, the Bentley couple was spotted alighting the kid inside the school's drop-off point. Was it necessary that you got out of your way to cause a traffic jam and risk the lives of others just to alight your kid inside the school's compound? Geez, how embarrassing for the kid. No Record Found After doing some poking around, it turns out that the Bentley's number plate does not exist in LTA's record. MMM...sus much? What do you guys think of this? Instantaneously, this reminded me of the road raging Audi driver incident (Refer below), where a car workshop gave the driver a wrongly printed number plate. I am not surprised if this turns out to be the case for the Bentley too. The Minister has spoken! UPDATE: 11/1/22, 3:55PM A recent user-submitted footage revealed the actual reason for preventing the Bentley from entering Red Swastika School. The Bentley driver apparently "cut queue" to turn into the school and attempted to enter the school by driving against the flow of traffic. Imagine it is the weekend, and all you want is to get some rest in your peaceful, quiet and comfortable house before the workweek starts. BUT NO. In the distance, you hear a low, noisy exhaust burbling sound coming from downstairs your block. And this is what you see: What's the first thought that comes to your mind? Frustration? Anger? Disappointment? You tell me. What Happened? Apparently, this frustrated Bedok resident managed to take a video of this rowdy Audi driver that has constantly disturbed the estate's peace. From afar or a single glance, the car's quad exhaust makes it appear as though the driver is driving an RS3, S3, or even a "Quattro tuned" Audi Sportback. If it were any of those cars, the noisy exhaust would have been understandable. But wait, here comes the twist: That "sports car" is none other than a 1-litre A3 Sportback. Putting Things Into Perspective The Audi A3 1-Litre Sportback has 114BHP and 200 Nm of torque, with 9.9 seconds for its 0 - 100km/h timing. And the fact that a noisy aftermarket exhaust is equipped to this ordinary car definitely poses as an annoyance to Bedok residents. Worse still, it pops and bangs even when its speed is <20km/h. So do you think this Audi A3 has an illegal or LTA approved exhaust? Do you think his exhaust system is "operated"? Netizens' Comments Sooner or later his car sure kena tow to the workshop. Is the weather really that warm that you need to ride without clothes? This motorcyclist thinks so. Spotted on SGRV's Facebook and many other sources, a short-hair motorcyclist can be seen riding nude by the camera bike traveling along PIE towards changi. The nude rider then left the highway via the Bedok North Rd exit with the camera bike following closely, allowing us to get a closer look at this bewildering sight. Thankfully, the video that has been uploaded to the web doesn't show his private parts...

We start off the week with video that happened a week or so ago but only started to trend recently. Seen on SG Road Vigilante, is this particular Mazda 3 driver that became so triggered that he had to get out of his car with vulgarities spewing out of his mouth non stop. Like all road rage incidents though, it takes two to clap. Thankfully, the camera car driver was honest enough to show what he did that made the Mazda 3 driver so pissed. We could see him honking the Mazda as the road merge at the junction along Bedok North Road, before speeding past the Mazda which also tried to filter into the middle lane due to construction works ahead. Those two actions probably triggered the Mazda 3 driver bad and when he got to block the camera car, he made sure he was heard by the camera car. Probably not wanting to blow this up, the camera car drove off after the heated exchange of words but the Mazda 3, whose road tax had also expired, gave chase and did some not-very-nice gestures when he caught up... Let us know what are your thoughts on this case of road rage!

PMD rider receives sweet chin music from enforcement officer

A video of an enforcement officer kicking a rider off his personal mobility device along Bedok Reservoir Road has been caught on someone's in-car camera. The e-scooter rider, who probably caught sight of the few officers coming to get him from across the road, tried to evade from the right most lane to the left most. However, the quick-acting enforcement officer managed to deliver WWE superstar Shawn Michaels (HBK)'s sweet chin music move on the poor rider, sending rider into the hedge on the side of the road. The kick might also remind some of the movie '300' where Gerard Butler shouted "THIS IS SPARTA" before delivering the fatal kick... Since PMDs have been banned from footpaths and on the roads, the authorities have been cracking down hard on errant riders.- 1 comment

I'm a bit slow but wow Bedok has a spanking new mall - Djitsun Mall (AGAIN) and cinema (Golden Village) after not having any for the last 10 years since Princess closed down? The nearest would be Tampines, Katong, and now Paya Lebar. 6 theatres with a capacity of 576. I somehow don't see the kinda arcade games that we are all accustomed to playing when we were younger though. Games like Streetfighter, Time Crisis. Recently I have noticed that there are road works in Bedok to narrow a few roads. Examples are 2 streteches of Bedok North St 3 (one near Bedok North Ave 2 and the other one near Bedok North Ave 1). They are being converted from 2 lanes to 1 lanes. also, for the part of Bedok North Ave 1 (near Bedok North Rd), road dividers are constructed and hence making the roads narrower. It seems strange to me that the roads are being narrowed when cars number are increasing. does anybody knows the rationale behind the narrowing of the above mentioned road??

Police said they received a call at about 6.50am on Sunday. When officers arrived at the scene, they found the body of a man floating in the water. Paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene at around 7.25am. The man is believed to be in his 30s. He was clad in a grey t-shirt and bermudas. Police have classified the case as unnatural death. This is the eighth reported death in the reservoir since June 2011. The most recent case was reported in January this year. Singapore's water agency PUB, has installed signs and improved lighting at Bedok Reservoir, following the spate of deaths there. The signs show the Samaritans Of Singapore (SOS) helpline information. Lamps around the reservoir are also now fully lit throughout the night.

AkuNameless was alerted of the accident when the bus he was travelling in was forced to stop. He wrote: "I spotted this motorbike and taxi accident. "I was was taking bus 66 on the way home after having dinner and I noticed the bus was not moving. "I was wondering what had happened. The driver let all the passengers alight to walk as the whole road had been blocked by the SCDF and Traffic Police. "While I was walking home I saw a huge crowd crowded at an area looking at the accident. "I saw one bike that was reduced to just scrap metal and a taxi that had its door dented. "To all drivers and riders. Please be extra careful while riding and driving. "More and more accidents are happening nowadays. "Be extra careful."
