  1. I am looking for a cordless power tool system, most likely 18v, which I can grow with. It would be for home and automotive use. For a start, I am looking at a impact wrench to remove the wheel lug nuts. I am also looking at a good impact drill for masonry work for the home. There are numerous brands of these cordless power tool system e.g. Makita, Bosch, Ryobi, Milwukee, etc. Do share your experience, please.
  2. Bros, hoping for some opinions from actual users of Milwaukee tools. Growing up, most of the power tools used in SG are Bosch or Makita, with the odd Hilti or De Walt occasionally appearing. From the US youtube videos of DIY and car repairs, most of them swear by Milwaukee tools which specializes in cordless stuff like impact wrench. I recently realized that Milwaukee now is quite widely sold and distributed in SG, but once you buy a single brand of cordless tools, I will be locked into the ecosystem as the batteries are proprietary and quite expensive. Wonder any bros have tried and compared?

Escort radar is always the leader when it comes to new detection technology. Their latest invention, the all-new Escort PASSPORT 9500i, has revolutionized the radar detector category again. Its blistering performance is derived from the "World's Best" PASSPORT 8500 X50, which means it delivers the best protection possible against all speed measuring devices. We added advanced GPS-powered intelligence, which makes the Escort 9500i the best performing, quietest and most user-friendly radar detector ever designed. ESCORT also manufactures the award-winning Passport 9500i, Passport 8500 X50, cordless Escort Solo S2, Passport 7500S, and the Passport SR7 Remote Radar and Laser detectors. http://www.escortradar.com/solo.htm I drive so slowly that I realized I dont need it want to sell it any takers

  9. Hi, I just bought a installed a new cordless phone in my home and it seems to be interferring with my internet connection. The moment the cordless phone is picked up to make or receive a call, my singnet connection is disconnected. I have 3 phone sockets at home: socket 1 : normal analog phone with an ADSL filter socket 2 : normal analog phone, ADSL modem and ADSL filter socket 3 : cordless DECT phone w/o ADSL filter I was previously using another cordless phone at socket 3 but it didnt give any problems at all. Both the old and new cordless phone don't work if an ADSL fllter is installed on socket 3. My current cordless phone is a Siemens DECT phone. I will appreciate if anyone can advise me here. Do I need to install some kind of special ADSL filter to be used with a DECT phone? thanks very much!
  10. Any1 any comments on the cordless orbitor? From the webby it mentioned can last for 1.5hr of usage. Was tinking of getting tis to cut down the detailing time n most importantly it would prolly made the car more Could get normal power at MSCP n not keen to invest in a gen set. In addition, can machine be used for both application n removal of polish/wax/sealant? Cos many seem to mention using it for only polish n not for the sealant and/or wax. Tks in advance for the all the comments.
