Both models have somewhat similar credentials. They have a capacity of 3.0-litre with 6 cylinders and benefit from some form of forced induction and direct injection. Both engines are mated to a six-speed manual gearbox although automatic option is available. The inline 6-cylinder turbocharged unit in the BMW 335i generates an output of 306bhp and 400Nm of torque. On the other hand, the supercharged bent six in the Audi S4 produces an even more impressive 333bhp and 440NM of twist. So, has the ultimate sports sedan, the 335i, finally met its marker in the S4 ?
