  1. Hi all Need some professional advice. Staying on ground floor unit condo. I wish to install a retractable canopy over my PES. I check with Mgt office. Well, i was advised to check with BCA on approved ones and also to wrote to MCST for permission. And i might be asked to present during AGM. The mgt office advised me to do it concurrently so that if the MCST ask for BCA advice or approved types of canopy. I'm thinking, instead of getting info from BCA, can i just ask some professional advice from canopy contractors on restrictions? If yes, any one can recommend any contractor for this? How can i deal with MCST ppl? LOL
  2. anybody with experiences living in ground floor unit of condo or EC? seem some bad press report about littering from the neighbours upstairs, how bout problems of insects, rats, ants etc, is it much worse than living on top floor? also privacy, is it true that anybody can just peep into your home and you are not allowed to do any unauthorise renovations such as blinds, etc on your patio? thanks for all feedback in advance.

  4. It is still a big mystery to me till this day that the ruling party apparently did not detect the so-called ground resentment until it was GE time. The latest admission came from PMO Minister LHH who had lost her post as a result of being ousted from her Aljunied GRC. She was the latest office bearer who revealed this in a press conference today. Almost every of her cabinet colleagues had already sounded caution of this wave of dissatisfaction of the government just before & after the GE. The part that puzzles me is that the ruling party MPs serve as advisors to EVERY SINGLE WARD & he or she has an army of helpers, grassroots volunteers & leaders from RCs, CCs, CCCs & whatever Cs to assist him or her in the course of their ground advisory work. These folks apparently also serve as the eyes & ears to alert these MPs of anything that happens on the ground. I mean no disrespect to these selfless individuals who took time off to volunteer their service to the MPs on a regular basis. Question is: WHY IS THE RULING PARTY CAUGHT OFF GUARD BY THE GROUND RESENTMENT? Your views?

So here it is from Woody's mouth.... he also believes the 2 candidates CANNOT MAKE IT on their own... so they need to hide under his skirt to get into parliament. DISGUSTING!

  8. I'm using Bosch Fusion plugs which have 4 ground electrodes. One of my plugs, has 1 ground electrode bent and touching the centre electrode. Will this affect anything? To me no difference experienced, I don't know how long been like that. The plugs were bought early last year and only few days ago I thought about taking it out to see if lots of carbon deposits then I can clean it. The plugs were still in good condition though.

  11. http://singaporeseen.stomp.com.sg/photo/getFullSizePhoto.do?id=23090 STOMPer Sharlene wonders why this jacked-up Land Rover, that has been parking at an HDB carpark in Commonwealth for months, has not been issued with summons. "There are no parking tickets or an RFID disc on the car. Not sure if this is a foreign licence plate also," she says. The STOMPer adds: "Maybe because it has been jacked up, so the parking attendant can't reach to put any summon tickets? "Or is it because the tyres do not touch the ground, it is not considered as 'parked'?" The STOMPer says the Land Rover is depriving other vehicles of parking space. http://singaporeseen.stomp.com.sg/singapor...nt.jsp?id=24429
  12. I still remember the day when I was covered in sweat and mud during battalion exercise, after trench digging. We were eating rations that was sprinkled with our sweat dripping on the food. My men were all extremely bitter and suddenly this LCP from my section threw his ration on the ground and yelled: "PCBKNNBCCB, SGT, what the f*** are we doing here? Suffering so much and yet more and more FTs are coming in to suppress our salary, compete for jobs and drive up the cost of living!". An awkward silence ensued. Then, a thunderous tirade erupted. Even my fellow specs and some of the officers were grumbling about this unfair treatment. He then kicked the packet away and reported sick, along with half of the platoon.

  15. HI Bros How do i ground my amp to the chassis ? DO I select a point underneath my rear seats ? Or there is other points I can consider. I currently have 5 point grounding on my engine bay and I am not sure whether I need to ground my amps. Thanks Arrow
  16. Here is a pic of the current grounding in my car (shown using the red lines, dashed line representing the wire being under the engine cover). I used 1x piece of long for the right side of the engine bay and 1x medium for the engine nut. Can anyone advice if it's correct so far? I think the Alternator has a nut nearby that I use, just have to find the right bolt for it to use with a long wire. So I have 1x Long, 1x Medium and 1x Short length left. Thanks
