  1. Hi to all Q50 owners here 🙂 I’m thinking of getting a resale 2018 Q50 but had came to know that from July 21 onward, Infiniti showroom in SG crease operation. So any issues for spare parts in the future or we can easily can OEM parts in workshop. Hope someone can help on the above question, thank you.
  2. Infiniti will be exiting the Singapore market by year end as they will no longer produce RHD vehicles. The existing showroom will welcome the Polestar brand. https://www.carbuyer.com.sg/2021-singapore-polestar-in-infiniti-out/
  3. Dear all car lover may I have any of your advice about Infiniti Q50 . ThAnk you
  4. Hi Am looking for a replacement car of not more than $160k. Some considerations for narrowing down my choices are: a) Reliability; b) Safety; c) Performance; d) FC; e) Comfort; f) Maintenance costs (AD) - a range would be helpful; g) Insurance premium. Have test drove the Volvo T5, Infiniti Q50 and Mazda 6 recently. All 2.0 litre petrol cars. Diesel cars not an option as my mileage not high. Just doing my due diligence before making a commitment. Hence, would greatly appreciate existing/ past owners of the above cars to share experience of their ride; and potential owners to share the x-factors that made them signed on the dotted line. Thanks a lot!
  5. The Infiniti Q50 sedan has been awarded the 'Best Chinese Premiere' by the organising committee of the Shanghai International Motor Show in conjunction with sohu.com, one of China's leading online magazine. The award was presented to the Managing Director of Infiniti China, Daniel Kirchert. "We are honoured and very proud that our new premium Q50 sedan received this much respected award. This is a kickstart for the Q50 in China. We are looking forward to the market launch in spring 2014 with much confidence," said Kirchert. Infiniti fronted the Shanghai Motor show with the Q50 Hybrid variant, making its debut in Asia. The car is powered by a 3.5-litre petrol V6 featuring electric motor assistance. The hybrid system's nett power is approximately 354bhp, providing strong acceleration and lean fuel economy. The engine is matched with a seven-speed automatic transmission with manual shift mode and steering-mounted magnesium paddle shifters. The Q50 is available in both rear-wheel drive and an Intelligent All-Wheel Drive. Last year, Infiniti moved its global headquarters to Hong Kong where it can serve the Chinese market better. At the Shanghai Motor Show, Infiniti announced the long wheel base versions of the Q50 and QX50, both of which are specifically developed for the Chinese market. They will be built in the Xiangyang plant which is operated by Infiniti's partner in China, Dongfeng Motors.
  6. Infiniti launched the long wheelbase version of the Q50 saloon at the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show. The Q50 is a class competitor against the likes of the BMW 3 Series. For readers' information, BMW showcased its Chinese market only BMW 3 Series long wheelbase saloon at the Beijing Motor Show last year. The Infiniti Q50 saloon will be built alongside with the QX50 crossover at the Nissan-Dongfeng plant in Xiangyang, Hubei Provence. "We are expanding our product portfolio with two new models especially for the Chinese market in 2014, and plans are underway to significantly increase the dealer network from the current 60 dealers to 80 in 2014," said Infiniti President, Johan de Nysschen. At the Shanghai Motor Show, two variants of the Q50 were displayed
  7. The all-new Infiniti Q50 will be making its European Premiere at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show in March. More importantly, the replacement for the G Series saloon will be the first Infiniti model to get forced-fed power plants sourced from Mercedes Benz. Although Infiniti did not reveal any details on the engines, they are expected to be the gasoline 1.8-litre turbocharged and the 2.1-litre diesel lump. The oil burner churns out 204bhp/500Nm in the CLS250 while the 1.8-litre produces 184bhp/270Nm in the C200 BlueEFFICIENCY. "The Infiniti Q50 is a world-class sports saloon with an engine line-up that will clearly demonstrate its intentions to be a major player within the European premium market," said Bernard Loire, Vice President, Infiniti Africa, Middle East and Europe (AMIE). Measuring 4.78m (L) by 1.82m (W) by 1.44m (H), the new Q50 saloon is targeted at BMW 3 Series and Audi A4 buyers. With a new range of smaller capacity engines, Infiniti will be able to compete more effectively in the European market than in the past. I am sure a 1.8-litre Infiniti saloon will improve the market share of the premium Japanese brand in Singapore as well.
