  1. K3 owners-to-be, we are all looking forward to the delivery of our cars let's consolidate an owners' list here! let me start the ball rolling: 1. TTT - Golden Beat 2. ER-3682 - Bright Silver 3. Firedemon15 - Glittering Metal 4. Vyeron - Snow White Pearl 5. Aurorablack - Aurora Black
  2. Wonder what the possible pricing will be... Launching during next month's car show... http://www.sgcarmart.com/news/article.php?AID=14442 If it is about Vezel or Qashqai pricing... Maybe can sell like hot cakes...?
  3. Anyone can advice. Asking for friend. The Kia Seltos and price is similar to Citroen C4 yet comes with no safety tech. May i know why is people still choosing Kia Seltos? For a similar price and car size segment, is there something similar with comprehensive safety tech and value for money for us to consider?
  4. The 2020 Kia Telluride Three-Row SUV Is Big, Boxy, and Bold https://www.caranddriver.com/news/2020-kia-telluride-three-row-suv-photos-info Kia is going big with its new Telluride three-row SUV, both literally and figuratively. It will be the biggest crossover in Kia’s lineup, positioned above the (also three-row) Sorento. Upon this larger canvas Kia has painted bold styling that deviates little from that of the bold Telluride concept car from a few years ago. Final details are forthcoming, but Kia says the Telluride is several inches longer and wider than the Sorento. It’ll hold up to eight people, while the Sorento can only hold seven between its two front seats, three-across second-row bench, and its admittedly tight two-place third-row seat. That means you can expect the Telluride's third row to accommodate three humans, although don't rule out a seven-seat version with captain's chairs in the second row. Beyond its extra size, the Telluride also is far more distinctive than the Sorento, with interesting head- and taillight designs and a boxy, truck-like silhouette. Disregard a few of the custom off-road-y bits seen on this particular vehicle—including all-terrain tires, beefy bumpers, an intake snorkel, a roof rack, and a hatch-mounted spare tire—as it’s simply a modified version of the production car debuting at New York Fashion Week. The Kia's styling is so truck-like and bold, in fact, that you could be forgiven for thinking it's an old-school, body-on-frame SUV along the lines of Chevrolet's Tahoe or GMC's Yukon. Nonetheless, we suspect that the Telluride rides on a front-wheel-drive-based unibody platform, likely one that will be shared with a new three-row Hyundai SUV rumored to be called the Palisade. That it will be built at the same Georgia plant where Kia assembles the unibody Sorento serves as more evidence against the idea that this SUV is body-on-frame like the Borrego SUV that Kia sold for a brief while about ten years ago. Kia says the Telluride will use a V-6 engine but offers no specifics beyond that, leaving us guessing as to whether it'll be the same naturally aspirated 3.3-liter found in the Sorento or possibly a more powerful twin-turbocharged version of the same engine like that in the Stinger. An eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive seem like sure bets, at least. Inside, the Fashion Week–ified Telluride boasts a few unique bits of trim, including special leather and wood trim that won’t see production. Otherwise, the cabin isn’t likely to change all that much before it goes on sale early next year. Some spy pictures.
  5. any news of the Seltos? saw Kia's sponsored fb ad the entire weekend pricing/specs/launch date? https://www.torque.com.sg/news/this-is-the-new-kia-seltos-in-singapore/

  8. I signed a sales agreement to purchase a Carens on 24th February 2018 at KIA Fulco Ubi. It was a display model and I received a generous $2000 discount for it. It was a July 2017 model, so I reckoned that it has been in the showroom for at least 8 months already. The next day, I went to KIA Alexandra to view the car. The car is full of stickers but I didn’t mind since the $2000 discount was generous. Before signing the agreement, the salesperson assured me once COE is secured they will remove the car from the showroom immediately. He claimed the registration process would be faster if I buy this display car since the car is already in the showroom. Sounded good to me. COE was secured more than 2 weeks ago on the 21st of March 2018. After being told that the COE was secured, I informed him that I hoped to get the car within 7-10 days. He told me that it is not possible as KIA was flooded with a lot of new registrations. He said he could deliver the car on 10th April at the earliest. The disappointing thing was that there had been no updates from the salesperson since 21st March. Since there is a lack of update and it’s already 7th April, I decided to take a trip to KIA Alexandra this morning to see if the car is still in the showroom. To my surprise, I saw the car still displayed in the showroom! Now, the car has more stickers than usual and has a lot of unsightly marks from previous stickers. Also, for the whole duration I was there, the lights were switched on. Sigh, God knows what will happen to the battery. I informed the salesperson of my disappointment. I told him that he had promised me that the car will be out of the showroom once COE is secured but the car is still there! It seems to me that they were intentionally delaying to deliver the car because they want to continue to use it as a display model. Looking at the state of the car now, it seemed to be in a more “abused” condition than when I saw the car on the 25th February. I wished I was informed about this issue earlier. Personally, with my dealings with businesses, I try to be understanding as much as possible. To be honest, I won’t mind if the car is still on display for one extra weekend since I understand that they need some time to get a replacement car.....but putting the car on display for another 3 extra weekends without telling me is just unethical. I think they were simply taking their chances that I would never find out. I am very disappointed that an AD is capable of lying and deceiving a customer like that. I was hoping for a small and kind compensation since my car was unnecessarily “abused” for a further unnecessary 3 weeks but their response was just a “sorry, we will take out your car from the showroom after this weekend. You should know that you are buying a display car. If you want a new car, get a new car.” Such an amazing response. I wish to seek advice if there are any recourse I could take. For one, I can go to CASE to lodge a formal complaint. Also, is it possible for me to get back my deposit if I refuse to buy the car in its current state? I understand that the TCOE will expire in 6 months. Hope you can offer me some advice. :)
  9. Hi, I am a new Kia Sorento 2013 owner, 2.2 CRDi model, silver. Formerly driving a Skoda Superb I for the past 7 years, built like a tank, fuel economical and powerful with 1.8T under the hood. Wanted a SUV all along and finally chose the KIA Sorento 2013 model in Singapore due to several reasons. Good: 1. Korean built has improved tremendously, quality and class. 2. Award winning diesel engine. - 436NM Torque, 194HP, Eco-friendly and if you are like me, someone who drives a lot, it is cost savings back to you. 3. Features, FEAtures, FEATURES!! - Tons of it, Bluetooth, Cruise Control, HID, AWD, Park Assist (found in VW range, includes, Skoda, Audi and VW cars), Dual Climate Zone, Reverse Camera, Moon Roof, plus Sunroof...19" wheels...etc. 4. Design - base on the individual, but I really like the design. Former Audi chief designer. What can be improved: 1. Hard plastics - dashboard. This can be improved. 2. Northing else. In summary hope to say hello to fellow KIA folks and a shout out to other Sorento owners out there. Cheers! PS: My first Korean car!

    2020 KIA Soul

2020 KIA SOUL MOSTLY REVEALED IN NEW TEASERhttps://www.motortrend.com/news/2020-kia-soul-mostly-revealed-in-new-teaser/ We're exactly one week away from the reveal of the 2020 Kia Soul, and we have a pretty good idea what it will look like thanks to this new teaser. KIA has also dropped more information on engines and trim levels. The Soul adopts more of a crossover appearance up front. When viewed form the side profile, the front end looks more rounded and less boxy than before. KIA also reworked the side window design to give the illusion of a sharply sloped roofline. The model gets a new floating roof that melds into the vertical taillights. Other teasers show off bits of the interior, including the steering wheel and door handles. In one teaser, we can see the Soul's new central screen. In a press release, Kia confirms the Soul will offer a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder and a 1.6-liter turbo-four. No mention was made of a return for the base 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine. Kia says it will continue to offer a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, without specifying which other gearboxes may be available. An all-electric variant will be sold in select markets. The gas-powered Soul will come in multiple trims: LX, EX, S, and GT-Line. Kia is also adding a "ruggedly styled" X-Line model. Beyond that, Kia promises increased cargo room.

  19. Hot on the heels of new Verna (Accent), here is the brand new Kia Rio to be officially unveiled at Paris Motor Show next month. Think it looks more grown up than current Rio hatchback (which was on sale for a short period of time locally). Curious to see how the 4-door saloon model will turn out to look like. Hope to see C&C bring in both 4 and 5-door model when it eventually arrives here. Source: https://www.netcarshow.com/kia/2017-rio/

  21. Helping my father make a decision on his next car. He’s currently driving a Fortuner in its last yr of COE, and would like a 7 seater SUV as replacement. Visited the show rooms last wkend to look see, so considering between these two models: Outlander $129k Sorento SX Diesel ~ $155k (SE quote) He’s the type to use the car up to the 9-10yr mark before changing. Sorento OMV is 33k, PARF is about 4.7k more than outlander. Travels >30k km a yr, so calculated the savings of diesel over the petrol over 10yrs, together with the PARF difference, it will eventually add up to balance the car price as well as road tax difference. So kinda leaning towards the Sorento. Hence would need some input regarding both models and which would you pick over. Are they any hidden cost or details that may help tip the outlander to be of better value or the deciding factor? maintenance, would turbo diesel engine require more maintenance in the long run vs 2.4 NA Engine? Servicing cost wise, are they about the same? What about parts replacement, Kor vs jap parts cheaper? Reliability? Would assume both are equally as good? Is it easy to find Diesel Euro V in Malaysia? (He travels to JB quite frequently, Penang Ipoh maybe once or twice a yr) Many thanks for any input or views.
