The Lamborghini Gallardo is no more, after the final model rolled off the production line at the manufacturer's Sant’Agata plant in Bolognese. The Gallardo had been on sale for 10 years, with over 14 thousand(14,022 to be exact) models being produced in that time – making it the most successful model to come from the Italian supercar manufacturer. First introduced at the Geneva Motor Show in 2003, the Gallardo marked the 40th anniversary of Lamborghini and in those 10 years we’ve seen an astonishing 35 variants of the Gallardo. The original Gallardo was powered by a 513bhp 5.0-litre V10 engine and within two years of its launch, the first special edition had been unveiled. The Gallardo SE debuted at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2005 and was limited to just 250 models, it was so popular in fact, all models had sold before any of them had been produced. Changes to the SE included a power boost to 520bhp, a redesigned roof and a new-look interior. In the same year, the first Gallardo Spyder joined the range, which was followed by the Superlegerra in 2007. This was the first in a long line of stripped out and hunkered down Gallardo supercars, which seen an increase in power from the V10 engine and extensive use of carbon fibre to reduce weight. In 2008, a restyled and updated second-generation Gallardo LP560-4 was revealed at the Geneva Motor Show. It was also fitted with a new direct-injection 5.2-litre V10 engine developing 552bhp and was later followed by a Spyder, lightweight Superleggera and high-performance Spyder Performante versions, with the latter developing 562bhp – this was also the last Gallardo to be produced at the Sant’Agata plant. Next year, the replacement for the Gallardo will be unveiled, likely to be called the Cabrera. It should have close to 600bhp from Lamborghini’s latest version of the 5.2-litre V10.

The driver of a purple Lamborghini Gallardo purportedly shamed a Honda Civic driver for his/her social status and his/her parking skills. A purple Lamborghini Gallardo can be seen parked outside the demarcation of a parking lot. Despite her poor parking, Lambo lady took to her Instagram story to shame the Honda Civic driver. Lambo lady cited that jealousy was the Honda Civic driver’s reason for parking extremely close to her Lambo. Puzzled by her logic? ME TOO. Thereafter, she allegedly threatens the unknown Honda Civic driver by indicating her intention of “creating trouble for him/her”. The Plot Twist Now comes the interesting part...the plot twist. Despite Lambo lady’s success and wealth, she apparently did not pay for her road tax since 27th June 2021. Furthermore, netizens have apparently found her personal information, including her name, social media accounts, occupation and the company she works at. With all this information made public, things certainly do not look good for the Lambo lady. Under the Road Traffic Act, offenders that keep or use a vehicle without a valid road tax will face a maximum fine of $2,000. Netizens' comments Highly doubt 1 tub of aloe vera is sufficient for the amount of burn Lambo lady receives. Tired of reading burn comments on the Lambo lady? Here are some burn comments on her Lamborghini Gallardo. If there is anything to learn from this, it is “money can’t solve every problem” especially if you (LAMBO LADY) ARE THE PROBLEM. --- Thinking of selling your car? sgCarMart Quotz guarantees the highest selling price for your car. The Lamborghini Cabrera spotted for the first time ever Earlier, about a week ago, I told you that the Lamborghini Cabrera was likely to make its appearance at this year's Frankfurt Motor Show. Now, things are getting closer to reality. The supposedly long-awaited Gallardo replacement has finally been spotted for the first time ever and it has been attracting plenty of hype on the World Wide Web. The previously rumoured Lamborghini Cabrera Unlike what most people believed before, it seems that Italian automaker Lamborghini has changed its mind and that the Cabrera will no longer borrow styling cues from the Lamborghini Aventador. Judging from its front fascia from what I can see in the picture, the model is looks pretty similar to the current generation Lamborghini Gallardo. Yet, the bonnet feels rather long somehow, keeping in mind that the raging bull is supposed to carry a mid-mounted engine. It's also likely that the Cabrera will count on a 600bhp V10 engine mated to an AWD drivetrain and an automatic transmission. Oh, a RWD drivetrain may also show up later as a special edition, I believe. Sadly there isn't much else I can tell you for now since the super car isn't likely to be offered for sale for another two years anyway, so we still have plenty of time to find out more, don't we?

Although it was actually first rumoured back in March 2012, there has yet to be any more information regarding the supposedly successor to the Lamborghini Gallardo. To make matters worse, the Italian automaker only unveiled a Gallardo facelift last year when most car enthusiasts were actually expecting the next generation Gallardo. So, it was kind of like a prank from the raging bull. However, it seems that the long wait is about to be over. Pictures have emerged on the internet showing what is believed to be the Lamborghini Cabrera. Judging from the images, I believe they reveal the real deal. Looking at the images of the car, it reminds me of one of the latest models Lamborghini recently introduced to the public. Yes, the Cabrera borrows a lot of styling cues from the Aventador, from its front to the rear fascias. Rumour has it that the Lamborghini Cabrera will count on a V10 engine and that its four wheels will receive a total power output of 600bhp from the car's automatic transmission in addition to a dual clutch system. The latter is a new addition as the raging bull used to employ the single clutch E-Gear system. So, it seems like the long wait for the next generation Lamborghini Gallardo supercar is about to come to an end. What do you think?

Lamborghini Gallardo recalled for possible power steering fluid leak
SYF77 posted a blog entry in MyAutoBlog
The most popular Lamborghini model to date, the Gallardo, is recalled due to potential fluid leak from the power steering hoses. These unlucky units are built between 2004 to 2006 and both the Gallardo Coupe and Spyder body styles are involved. The recall began in Australia, followed by Canada and now in the U.S. About 1,491 units are affected in the U.S. According to Lamborghini, high pressure hoses for the hydraulic-assisted power steering system may leak under certain driving conditions. Should this occur, a fire could break out if the fluid comes into contact with an ignition source. Lamborghini is notifying the affected owners, who can take their Gallardos to their dealers for repairs at no charge. The car is named after a famous breed of fighting bull and represented to many the smaller version of the Murcielago. The-

Lamborghini has been seeing great profits with popularity from models like the refreshed Gallardo and its many variants, its latest flagship the "A vent and a door" and increasing demand from upcoming markets like China, Russia, India. Heck even in our 'puny' sunny tropics, all 60 units allocated to Lamborghini Singapore have already been taken up until the third quarter of 2012. So what lies ahead for the raging bull? We look into the e-crystal ball and here's our findings. The Toro project by DMC adds a little more power along with a new, lightweight styling kit that adds on to the already aggressive looks and performance of the Gallardo. DMC has worked on an ECU remap complemented by a new titanium sports exhaust system. These changes are good for an added 20hp for a total output of 580hp and 574Nm of torque from the 5.2-litre V10 engine. Top speed has also increased to 329km/h. The bodykit from DMC is purely made from carbon fiber. It includes a front spoiler and sword, side sills and skirts with side under diffuser, rear diffuser, rear spoiler and rear panel and side mirrors. The extensive DMC carbon fiber bodykit also includes "more attractive rounded sills" on the interior of the sides. It sits on a set of lightweight 20-inch forged rims. Pic Source: DMC Auto

Lamborghini cars will not feature turbocharged engines
FaezClutchless posted a blog entry in MyAutoBlog
The usage of turbocharged engines is getting pretty rife in the last decade or so. The main reasons for this are exhaust emission regulations and also the positive highway mileage that turbo-ed engines offer. Lamborghini is one automaker that has always used high displacement, naturally aspirated engines in their cars and they have no intentions to change that. During an interview with Autocar, Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelman mentioned that he does not see Lamborghini using turbocharged engines in this decade but he also said that it could happen in the near future. In addition, he stated that the future can take its own path when fuel regulations are involved and any development along those lines must be consistent with the DNA of Lamborghini. Winkelman added that the next generation Gallardo is set to be launched in around two years time and it should not come with a turbocharged engine. However, there are rumoured reports of Audi working with Bentley on a turbocharged V8 engine to be used in the next Audi R8 and the engine might be used on higher performance cars within the Volkswagen Group. Although turbocharged engines are used heavily on most of Lamborghini-

Back in September last year, there was a news report about thirteen supercars impounded in British Columbia, Canada for their involvement in street racing. The drivers of these cars have to pay a $196 fine plus an impound fee. On top of that, they might get their driving license suspended. Apparently, an eye witness informed the local police about these drivers late night activities. Two of the cars would block off a stretch of a road and the rest would do the racing. Some of the drivers involved were students from an exclusive boarding school and some did not even have driving licenses. In Canada, there are strict laws regarding street racing and dangerous driving and if found guilty of these charges, the authorities have the right to confiscate the cars and sell them off. Before I continue, here is the list of supercars that were impounded. 3 Lamborghini Gallardo 2 Nissan GTR 2 Maserati GranTurismo 1 Audi R8 1 Aston Martin DB9 1 Ferrari 599 1 Mercedes Benz SL63 AMG 1 Mercedes Benz SLS AMG Just after the impoundment was made, the local police have slapped them with only traffic charges (fines and a temporary seizure) as there was little evidence. But five of the car owners have been indicted due to evidence from an eye witness. The British Columbia Civil Forfeiture Office have decided to take further action by commencing in a civil action to confiscate the cars under Canada

Hamann Gallardo Victory II a.k.a I've got money but I may be lacking in taste
Rigval posted a blog entry in MyAutoBlog
"I have the money to make something so purposeful, tasteful and beautiful into something garish, outrageous and into something that spells out 'boy racer' even though I may have a monthly income of more than the annual GDP of Timor Leste." This is what I think Hamann must have meant when they created the Lamborghini Gallardo Victory II you see in this short article. Enough said. Just enjoy the pictures and proof on what you can do with excess cash. Happy 2011 people!-
